10 Brewtiful Cafes in Vaughan for Your New Cozy Corner and Caffeine Fix
I’ve sipped hundreds of cups of coffee. You see, I’m someone who needs my caffeine fix every day or my brain won’t function properly—there’s always trouble brewing with my moody self before I’ve had my morning coffee.
I think it’s safe to say that it’s not just me. If you live or work in the GTA, you’ll come across loads of cafes, from giant chains to hidden gems. But not all can brew coffee that actually tastes good and NOT like burnt beans!
This time, let’s skip Timmies (they’ve received more than enough support from Canadians). These are the best cafes in Vaughan I’ve been to, including hidden gems, brunch spots, and dessert places.
It’s time to order the classic options or discover creative flavours that could be your new favourite drink! Sip up!
Brunch and Coffee in Vaughan
Bready Cafe

Address: 15 Connie Crescent, Unit 27, Concord
Contact: 437-880-7695, [email protected]
Hours: Monday – Sunday: 8 am – 8 pm
Pricing: $$$
One of the best coffee shops in Vaughan is, hands down, Bready Cafe. This casual spot has been one of my go-to brunch spots after work, or on those quiet mornings when I’m craving a good panini and delicious pastries.
The delightful menu features the classic brunch staples: sandwiches, omelettes, pancakes, and puff pastries. The Pink Bow Croissant and the Vanilla and Berries Cube Croissant are IG-worthy and tummy-pleasing choices—not too sweet but just right.
The drinks are on point, from the coffee to the refreshers. The Pistachio Latte is deliciously nutty and smooth to the taste, a perfect pairing with the Almond Croissant, while the Matcha Latte is best with oat milk to balance its earthy flavour.
Pro Tip: Avoid peak brunch times because the cafe gets busy! It gets packed and the queue takes too long when most customers are buying pastries.
Cappadocia Cafe & Bakery

Address: 9000 Weston Road
Contact: 647-921-0025, [email protected]
Hours:
- Sunday – Thursday: 8 am – 12 am
- Friday – Saturday: 8 am – 2 am
Pricing: $$$
Charming and yummy, Cappadocia Cafe & Bakery is a Vaughan spot you cannot miss. It has a lovely interior for me-time, is laidback for catching up with friends, and comfortable to work on—with outlets—for digital nomads.
All your Turkish faves are here, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. Try the Chicken Salad for a yummy, healthy meal, and the Ali Nazik for lunch, made with long strips of meat served with yogurt.
The desserts are not to be missed. Go for either the Pistachio or the San Sebastian Cake, both deliciously soft cheesecakes that go well with a strong Turkish coffee.
Pro Tip: If you’re bringing your laptop to work at the cafe, visit on a weekday when it isn’t so busy, and you can stay longer. Weekends get hectic, so the staff imposes a two-hour limit.
Aria Cafe
– Media credit: ariacafeco
Address: Parkette Plaza – 205 Marycroft Avenue
Hours:
- Monday – Saturday: 8 am – 6 pm
- Sunday: Closed
Pricing: $$$
You’ll be surprised that the warm and stylish Aria Cafe is located in Parkette Plaza, right off the highway. The location and the coffee shop’s vibe don’t match at all, but what I love about this is that you won’t have trouble finding parking.
They don’t play around when it comes to coffee—rich and creamy lattes with milk froth. Try the Nutella Cappuccino for a decadent mix of chocolate, nutty, and coffee flavours, paired with a classic pastry (go for a plain croissant) for the perfect balance.
For brunch, the Piri Piri Chicken Panini is a tasty option that will keep you full. Order it with your favourite iced coffee to keep you going as you get your work done—there are outlets and the seats are comfortable enough for an hour or two.
Pro Tip: Dip the Croissant in your latte for melt-in-your-mouth goodness! Their plain croissants are really good and add a nice balance to strong coffee.
Öze’s Cafe
– Media credit: ozescafe
Address: Venice Place – 3590 Rutherford Rd, Unit 13-14, Woodbridge
Contact: 905-303-7474
Hours:
- Monday: Closed
- Tuesday – Sunday: 8 am – 5 pm

Turkish brunches at Öze’s Cafe always hit the right spots. It’s where you can taste authentic food and try the Traditional Turkish Breakfast for two, which is made with a delicious spread of tahini, pekmez, yogurt, homemade bread, and more.
The baked pastries always taste fresh, given that they’re handmade. The Simit, a Turkish bagel, is generously coated with sesame seeds that pair perfectly with a hot cup of coffee—go for either the Vanilla Latte or Cinnamon Dolce for added sweetness.
Brunch is scrumptiously done: savoury and rich in flavours. I recommend Kavurma with Eggs, which comes with tender beef and fresh, homemade bread.
Pro Tip: Don’t miss out on dessert! If you need your trendy Dubai chocolate fix, they offer strawberries covered in chocolate, pistachio cream, and kadayif (shredded filo pastry).

Hours:
- Monday – Friday: 8 am – 7 pm

Everything about Forest Cafe is charming and inviting. This dog-friendly cafe in Vaughan is where you go to relax, get your coffee fix, read your book, finish work in a chill environment, or enjoy the days when the sun’s out.
And it’s not just the aesthetics they care about—the coffee blends are really, really good, as they come from premium growers. Order the tasty Iced Dalgona Coffee, a mixture of coffee and milk, topped with a Korean toffee candy.
Croffles, a popular South Korean dessert, are all the rage here. It’s basically a croissant made into a waffle, with a light yet crispy texture. The Lotus Biscoff Croffle, topped with vanilla ice cream, is my personal favourite for its buttery and caramel taste.
Pro Tip: Look out for the seasonal drinks. They manage to get the taste of the season every time!
Loukoumania Cafe

Address: 3120 Rutherford Rd, Unit 10
Contact: 289–553-9111
Hours:
- Sunday – Thursday: 10 am – 10 pm
- Friday – Saturday: 10 am – 11 pm

If you haven’t tried loukoumades, you’re seriously missing out! The ones at Loukoumania Cafe are as authentic as the ones I’ve tried in Greece, and the best part is they’re made with all sorts of flavours, from the classic honey to sparkling candy.
These honey-soaked, fluffy dough balls are perfect with ice cream on a sunny day. You’ll probably feel overwhelmed with over 30 toppings available, but these ones make my tummy happy every time: almonds, Ferrero, sweet and salty, and cinnamon sugar.
Order it with a cup of hot coffee or a frappe. The cold Freddo Cappuccino with a shot of vanilla is a good option if, like me, you prefer a sweeter twist.
Pro Tip: If you’re ordering to go, bring a container to put the box into. When you get sauce toppings, they can sometimes seep out of the box the loukoumades come in.
Bartholomew Cafe

Address: 467 Edgeley Blvd #14
Contact: 905-761-3363, [email protected]
Hours:
- Monday: Closed
- Tuesday – Friday: 8 am – 3 pm

Bartholomew Cafe is a hidden gem that doesn’t play around when it comes to pastries. It’s THE place to be if you love baked goodies, as everything on the display is so tempting to look at and so deliciously crispy yet fluffy.
The croissants deserve the spotlight. Even the simple Butter Croissant is delicious, and the Pistachio Twice Baked is worth every loonie for its nutty filling. New pastries frequently pop up at the cafe, including trendy and seasonal flavours.
The coffee menu isn’t overwhelming to choose from, since it’s mostly composed of classic choices—and the pastries are the stars of the show. The Vanilla Latte complements the butter pastries, while the original Latte goes well with sweet flavours.
Pro Tip: Visit from Thursday to Sunday to catch special pastry flavours. You can usually find these announced on their Instagram.
Scoops & Brew House
– Media credit: scoopsandbrewhouse
Address: 4585 Hwy 7, Unit 2b
Contact: 905-851-8002, [email protected]
Hours:
- Monday – Friday: 7 am – 7 pm
- Saturday: 8 am – 7 pm
- Sunday: 9 am – 7 pm
Pricing: $
Coffee is serious at Scoops & Brew House, where classic options and cool flavours are brewed. One particularly special feature is the matcha menu, composed of an assortment of exciting flavours.
For someone who loves matcha, the options are good—not the most authentic, but surprisingly delicious. You’ll find the right balance of bitterness and sweetness in the Strawberry Matcha Latte (go for iced to lessen the sugary taste).
Pair it with a warm Almond Croissant or anything buttery to offset the richness of the strawberry and matcha flavours. Then, don’t miss out on grabbing an Italian Cream Cannoli for something crispy.
Pro Tip: Try their artisanal ice cream in the summer. They’re super delicious and perfect on a sunny day.
Helvaci Ali
– Media credit: helvaciali.canada
Address: Tuscany Place – 3175 Rutherford Rd, Unit 22

Hours:
- Sunday – Thursday: 11 am – 11 pm
- Friday – Saturday: 11 am – 1 am

Turkish desserts and coffee are the perfect pairing, which you can get at Vaughan Mills. Everything on the menu draws from the rich culinary history of Turkey, from the drinks to the pastries.
The best of the bunch is the Iced White Mocha Latte with cold foam, which is rich, creamy, and sweet. But the regular Turkish Coffee works well with the Semolina Helva Ice Cream—the pistachio flavour with tahini toppings is absolutely delectable.
This is also one of the most aesthetically pleasing cafes in Vaughan I’ve been to. The ceiling is covered in greenery, the tiled counters are beautiful, and the seats are comfortable.
Pro Tip: If you’re getting a dessert, consider matching it with a stronger cup of hot coffee. They’re generally sweet, so they’re best enjoyed with a latte without too much sugar.
The Cups
– Media credit: thecups.ca
Address: Tuscany Place – 3175 Rutherford Rd, Unit 58, Concord
Contact: 647-917-4072, [email protected]
Hours:
- Sunday – Thursday: 12 pm – 10 pm
- Friday – Saturday: 12 pm – 11 pm
Pricing: $$
The Cups is where snowy desserts are made. This Vaughan cafe brings a totally different coffee experience, where hot and cold are served together.
They mainly serve bingsu, a Korean dessert made with shaved ice and various toppings. And when it comes to this kind of dessert, matcha is always a winner—it’s deliciously topped with mochi, red bean, almond flakes, and matcha ice cream!
After ordering a bowl of bingsu, grab a hot Original Einspanner to contrast the cold so you won’t get brain freeze (it has happened before, and it wasn’t fun *insert crying emoji*).
The Tiramisu Croffle is a more filling option when it isn’t cold out. It’s best paired with a Citron Tea.
Pro Tip: Lower your drink’s sugar level if you’re ordering a croffle. The dessert is pretty sweet already, and it’s best to counteract the sugary taste with something refreshing.
