But the downside lies in their specialization as well. Since they only focus on auto seats, they don’t upholster residential furniture—that’s a no for your grandma’s couch!

Looking on the bright side, we like that they also service boats, bikes, and ATV seats! We like their expertise in both leather and fabric.

Additionally, they primarily use the Katzkin brand of leather. We think this adds a premium look, which benefits a lot of gearheads in Winnipeg!

What’s more, they can work on custom designs. It’s useful for when you plan to reupholster and change the style, no?

As for the rates, we appreciate Ron’s Custom Upholstery for being competitively priced. Our team was glad that anyone can afford their upholstery services!

Their main focus is commercial furniture upholstery. Their client list is pretty impressive as well!

Their clients include Michael Kors, Burger King, Pizza Hut, IHOP, and Sorrento’s. These establishments have high foot traffic, which we think speaks about their upholstery skills.

That doesn’t mean they don’t have the time to cater to residential clients! Their expertise extends to revitalizing and restoring old home furniture!

Furniture Medic has been around for over thirty years, with a branch in Winnipeg that’s locally owned and operated. They specialize in residential and commercial furniture upholstery, making them accessible for many!

One of the things we like is their various offerings. They provide upholstery, repair, and restoration, which we think shows their expertise!

Part of their services is woodworking, which definitely helps with restoring the bones of a chair. For us, it shows their skills in the field as well.

In addition to that, they repair pet damage and remove water rings from wood. Due to these services, they can make your furniture look brand new!

We also like their expertise in antique furniture upholstery. That shows their skills in handling older furniture, earning them points from us!

On the bright side, they have provided accurate quotes based on previous clients. They charged fair rates, too, which we certainly appreciated!
