This online sister company specializing in feature walls promises to be an innovative addition to the interior design landscape. We look forward to incorporating this service into our future projects.

However, they don’t offer promos at the present. We suggest checking their website for other affordable deals.

Pure Design, founded by Ami McKay, is one of our top interior designers in Vancouver because we were impressed with her expertise! Her business has been around for 23 years, and for us, that’s a long time to gain many skills!

We also found it impressive that she’s earned various recognition in Canada. Her work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Western Living Magazine, Canadian House & Home Magazine, and Style at Home Magazine.

On top of that, she’s an 11-time Best of Houzz winner! These accolades are evidence of her skills, no?

Another aspect we appreciate is that she acts as a one-stop destination. Her offerings are vast, and we think clients can have many design solutions—convenient, eh?

A notable aspect of PURE Design is McKay’s expertise in handling many types of projects. We found it impressive that she also works on heritage homes besides remodelling residential and commercial properties.

Moreover, we consider heritage homes pretty challenging to provide interior design solutions to. These houses require preservation, and not all styles will suit them—hence, we found McKay incredibly talented!

Can we applaud her for keeping things convenient for her clients? She offers personal shopping and styling and helps with your custom furniture—she’s making us feel like a high-profile client!

It’s a plus that she offers construction management, which is ideal if you’re undergoing major renovations. We appreciate that she coordinates with your builders to ensure your design dream will come to life seamlessly.

PURE Design’s availability is another convenient feature, as she’s available six days a week. A bonus is her virtual services, which means you can hire a Vancouver interior designer wherever you are! 

But keep in mind that PURE Design doesn’t have a large team of designers. If McKay’s schedule is packed, which does happen, you may need to wait a while.

Sublime Interior Design, led by the talented Geèle Soroka, stands out as one of Vancouver’s premier interior design firms. In fact, they’re an award-winning team. In 2020, their custom luxury build in Wine Country won the Best Design of Luxury Property Canada and the Best International Bedroom Design from the International Interior Design & Architect Awards.

Additionally, we were in awe that several of their interior design works were shortlisted by the same awarding body. If that doesn’t show you their skills, we don’t know what will!

We also like the services of Curated Home By Chrissy & Co. They offer complete services by offering interior design and project management.

Furthermore, we really like their extensive design services, which include lighting and custom millwork and furniture. It’s helpful because they can help you bring your vision to reality!

It’s also worth mentioning that their interior design services aren’t just for homes but also for commercial properties. You can get a fancy-looking business shop! Talk about luxury!

A convenient aspect is they have a team of designers who are available for any type of project you want. If their principal interior designer is unavailable, we appreciate there are others who can help.

Notably, they have a flat rate structure. That’s good news because even though they specialize in luxury design, you won’t be surprised about the cost because of the upfront pricing!

But Curated Home By Chrissy & Co is not as accessible as we’d like them to be. They’re unavailable on weekends, and they don’t offer virtual interior design services.

Negar Reihani founded Space Harmony, an award-winning interior design company in Vancouver. One is the Best of Houzz Award, which she won multiple times.

But her accolades don’t stop there. She won the 2016 Consumer Choice Award, 2nd place in three categories at the 17th Annual Northeast Design Awards, and the 2019 Design Excellence Awards for Best Bathroom Design and Editor’s Choice Award.

Clearly, these awards impressed us a lot! For us, you can’t win these without being one of the best in the field.

Aside from those, Reihani has earned various magazine features. Some of these are Cottage Life, House & Home, Reno & Decor, Home in Canada, and Western Living—she impressed us again!

We also appreciate that Space Harmony caters to both residential and commercial clients. We like how many Vancouverites can access her services, whether for home or business.

Plus, we like her furniture and design services. We found it helpful that Reihani can help you find any furniture you want to add to your space!

Moreover, we appreciate her for sourcing Canadian-made products. We love supporting local businesses here!

But if you prefer a more customized approach, Space Harmony offers custom millwork designs. You can practically dream of something and bring it to reality!

However, Space Harmony has a limitation. We found that they’re not available on weekends, and there are no virtual design services if you’re a client always on business trips.

Linda Lam, founder of Quintessential Living, caught our attention because of her passion for interior design. It started with designing her own condo, followed by freelancing and eventually pursuing design courses.

Quintessential Living focuses on residential interior design, whether an apartment or a townhome. While we appreciate her focus on houses, that’s where we found a drawback.

Unfortunately, Lam doesn’t do commercial interior design. So, Vancouver businesses will have to look for other design firms or wait until she expands her services.

On the bright side, we really like her wide range of services. We were quite surprised at how she handles it all because she’s pretty much a one-woman team, which also means she can get busy as there are no other designers available.

Speaking of services, she offers furnishing, space planning, and project management. We appreciate how she’ll take care of every aspect of the job, even coordinating with tradespeople!

In addition, we admire Lam for her skills in creating a beautiful and fresh new look for any type of home! She has even worked on older homes, and she managed to design the space without removing the home’s identity, showing her respect for the place.

Another service of Quintessential Living is custom millwork design. This is a really important part of interior design for us because it means you can have perfectly measured and customized furniture!

Her art curation and styling service is notable, too. Why? She incorporates the collection of art in your home, which is a cost-effective (and artsy) solution!

Although Quintessential Living is one of our best interior design firms, it’s just saddening that they don’t have weekend availability. That’s a downside since other interior design firms are open on Saturdays.

One of the reasons we like Cutler is because they’re the perfect solution if you have a new construction build. It’s almost like they’re all-in-one! Why do we say that?

Well, Cutler offers both interior design and architecture services. That’s a big advantage because the designers and architects can work side by side to create your vision.

They also specialize in commercial spaces and have worked with big brands! Some of their clients are Adidas, Samsung, Nespresso, and DoorDash.

Furthermore, we were happy that Cutler has a tonne of experience designing spaces for different industries. They will style offices, gyms, retail shops, and restaurants!

While that’s good news for business owners, that’s where we also found a downside. Sadly, Cutler doesn’t offer residential interior design services, which is bad news if you want a home remodel.

On a good note, we highly appreciate their large team. They have several interior designers who are available to work with you on your commercial project!

Just don’t ask for a weekend consultation because the Cutler office is only open Mondays to Fridays. So, you’ll have to take a day off for an appointment.

Nonetheless, Cutler will take care of everything from the technical aspects to the creatives for a space that will show your brand’s identity. Frankly, it impressed us how clean and well-designed their projects were!

Trim Studio offers a range of services, including concept creation, mood boards, technical drawings, spec packages, furniture and accessories selection, and coordination of professionals. This comprehensive approach covers both home building design and commercial/residential interior design, providing clients with end-to-end solutions.

Their diverse portfolio, as showcased by projects in home building design and commercial/residential interior design, demonstrates versatility. The ability to handle different types of projects indicates adaptability and a wide-ranging skill set.

Testimonials from a general contractor and a construction principal emphasize Trim Studio’s reliability, accuracy in construction drawings, and their positive working relationship. This reflects positively on their professionalism in the industry.

Note though that the pricing and the studio’s approach to project budgeting is not explicitly provided. Transparent details on pricing structures, payment plans, and potential additional costs would contribute to client confidence.
