We appreciate the easy integration with your payroll provider, where employees have to create an account to access their pay.

Additionally, it will only take about 21 minutes for your account activation. This quick access is due to the integration with major payroll platforms, ensuring a faster way to access your pay.

Another thing we highly appreciate is the early wage request. ZayZoon will fund the requests first, which they will recover on the next payday.

The early wage request will give you access to your pay before your payday. We like this because of the convenience when there are emergency purchases.

However, in order to maximise this service, it’s best to get a ZayZoon VISA card. Without it, you will get charged a $5 payout fee.

Furthermore, it’s unfortunate that employees can only access up to $200. Companies can choose to subsidise the benefit, but they aren’t required.

We also like the accessibility through the website or via mobile application. This feature will give you quick access to your wages and payouts.

They have a free, no-obligation quote through their website. We appreciate that you only have to input the number of employees, payday, and province to determine the pricing.

There are also several benefits that you can opt to include. But, we noticed that these could add up to much higher prices.

As for onboarding, it’s a quick process with only five steps. We think many employees will like this because it won’t take too much of their time.

We appreciate the year-end packages, giving employers an easy operation. They also provide custom reporting and checklists, reminding you of tax filings.

All wages will be deposited directly to the employees’ bank accounts. We like this convenience since you won’t have to issue cheques or manage bank files.

Now, even though they are not primarily specialising in payroll services, we believe their expertise in bookkeeping is an advantage. The reason is they are experts in tax fillings.

Furthermore, you can ensure that all taxes will be computed precisely as an employer. To add, they also provide services for year-end filings.

We also like that they provide automatic reports on scheduling and all transactions. These are updated through desktop applications – QuickBooks Online and Sage50 Cloud.

Unfortunately, they don’t have a mobile app for easy access when you’re out of the house. Some employers and employees might prefer accessing their payrolls through mobile.

If you choose their bookkeeping services, your accountant can log in to your account for quick access so they can quickly review all the necessary information. We like this feature because they can do the process without bothering you for a copy of your files.

A drawback is we think they can provide available pricing in the future to give convenience to employers.

We appreciate the wide array of services they offer. We like that they will personalise their services based on your needs for yourself or your business.

As for their payroll services, they handle small businesses. They have a team specifically made to handle the payroll requirements and processing.

It’s worth mentioning that even though their office is based in Calgary, they offer payroll services for any province in Canada. We think this is an excellent offer for those who live outside of Calgary but trust their services.

Moreover, they will do basic to advanced tasks. For example, their team will calculate the employees’ withholding taxes and generation of payslips.
