They, of course, provide cake delivery. The Sweet Shop doesn’t have a physical store in Edmonton, but they work out of a licensed commercial kitchen!

We appreciate their availability for delivery. They even deliver on Sundays, which is pretty convenient.

Keep in mind that you can’t request a specific cake delivery time but they can accommodate you as long as their schedule permits. No worries because their delivery service is on-time, with past customers complimenting it, too.

Additionally, their delivery rates are inexpensive. Some areas in Edmonton are even free with a specific order amount.

As for their products, The Sweet Shop has regular cakes available on their online shop. We shouldn’t have called them regular, by the way, because they have incredible designs!

Moreover, they offer a variety of flavours and sizes available. You can buy one for small or large parties!

Another aspect we like is you can opt for a custom cake. You can request anything you can dream of because the bakers are really creative!

You should know that their cakes are denser than normal, which some customers felt were too crumbly but others liked them. So if you don’t want that texture, it may be a problem.

As we’ve mentioned above, they don’t have a physical shop, which can be a drawback for some. Here’s to hoping they can build one in the future!

One of our top cake delivery shops in Edmonton is Sugared and Spiced Baked Goods. Cute name, huh? But that’s not the reason we included them here.

First, they have delicious baked goods! Not just cake, but also their various delectable products!

They sell tarts (which are yummy, by the way), cookies, brownies, meringues, and Canada’s favourite, the Nanaimo bars. You can even pair those with their coffee that’s roasted in Alberta.

Second, they make custom cakes which you can pre-order at least 14 days in advance. That’s a pretty short time for custom orders, especially since their designs are beautiful, cute, and colourful!

But if you opt for their signature cakes, you can pre-order at least eight days before your event. You may even catch an available one at their shop!

Third, they have a delivery window time of two hours from your chosen one. We like that because it can avoid possible delays if there’s too much traffic or the birthday person arrives on time!

We highly suggest getting your cakes delivered instead of picking it up. Their bakery is pretty hard to find and you may get lost looking for it… like us.

Our main concern is they seem to have difficulty handling large orders, particularly during busy seasons. Some customers mentioned miscommunication issues.

But there is a saying, “practice makes perfect.” Since then, Sugared and Spiced have improved greatly, earning them credit from us!

We were pretty impressed by The Art of Cake. It’s an artisan cafe and bakery with a gorgeous vintage-inspired vibe!

Can we just start with how stunning their cakes are? Even the Funfetti cake! Their designs are elegant and perfect for an afternoon tea party.

It’s a good thing they serve teas, wines, and coffee. It will be a perfect addition to your beautiful cake.

As for their cake delivery service, it’s available from Tuesdays to Saturdays. It’s a bit unfortunate that they don’t deliver on Sundays and holidays, though.

But they deliver on time, which earns them points! That’s particularly important for wedding cakes, which they deliver as well.

Aside from signature and wedding cakes, they also make custom ones that still look sophisticated! You just need to order at least three weeks ahead.

You can also give them your budget so they can work within it. That’s really convenient, especially since their cakes look expensive.

But what about the taste of their desserts? Well, you’ll be glad to know that they are delicious!

It’s like they’ve perfected their flavours since the owners have been baking sweet treats for over 30 years. Most of their cakes are moist (which we like) and their wedding cakes are easy to cut for the bride and groom.

Sadly, we heard about some customer service issues at their bakery. But we appreciate that they listen to their customers and use these criticisms to grow.

One of our best cake delivery services in Edmonton is Flirt Cupcakes. Don’t worry about the name, they don’t only serve flirty-themed cakes!

Their cake designs are one of our favourite aspects. They’re fun and yummy to look at, perfect for parties!

They have a bunch of classic cake flavours, from chocolate to a peanut butter cake that’s actually peanut-free! But if you have allergies, you should know that their kitchen has dairy and gluten ingredients (be careful!).

But they offer vegan, sugar-free, and gluten-free options! That’s a plus, considering not all cake shops in Edmonton offer these.

Additionally, they offer specialty cakes, animal themed, and even a design-your-own where you’ll choose the icing, flavours, and more! But if you need a custom order or a wedding cake, you need to contact them directly because you can’t order it online.

Regarding Flirt Cupcakes’ delivery service, they can deliver your cake from Monday to Saturday! They don’t deliver on Sundays, unfortunately, which can be a downside for some.

On a good note, they deliver on time. Plus, they communicate well with customers about the time frame to ensure someone’s available to receive the cake.

As for the cakes, the icing they used was soft and yummy. But some customers felt the texture of the cakes (and cupcakes) was too dense.

It does depend on the person if they like dense cakes, but some said they were too dry. The icing makes up for it, though!

If you’re looking for sophisticated cakes, you may want to check out Wild Rose Cakes. We’re not kidding. Their cakes are so beautiful we fell in love.

They make a lot of pastel-coloured cakes, which are aesthetically pleasing. They can make your party Instagram-worthy.

Moreover, we appreciate that they make custom cakes. You can even ask for a tall cake that can serve up to 66 people!

You also don’t have to worry about the design because your cake is in good hands. After all, the designer learned from baking professionals.

Additionally, they accept online consultations if you’re ready to order. It will allow you and the cake designer to talk about any adjustments and suggestions.

Plus, they also make wedding cakes. Just make sure to book them at least nine months in advance for their availability.

It’s worth mentioning that the Wild Rose Cakes team is highly professional and easy to work with. Many clients complimented them on this, and they have earned repeat customers.

It’s just disappointing that they only deliver wedding cakes. This is on Saturdays only, too, after 2:00 PM.

An area we think they could improve on is communication. Wild Rose Cakes has a small team, and sometimes, they get overwhelmed with many orders.

BakeRaptor is a store that provides its clients with an excellent array of delectable dessert products ideal for making each special event sweeter and more special for everyone with every bite.

We like that they make use of only quality ingredients and create an excellent and flavorful blend of flavors into their products to ensure clients get the best value for their money and get to enjoy the end products as well.

Aside from this, their products are also highly customizable wherein clients can easily avail of their gluten-free and vegan-friendly options along with other features such as tiers and designs among others.

Note though that even if rates of their services are stated, this may change in accordance with additional customization clients may need to want to have on their product.
