The Top 10 Brunch Restaurants in Vaughan That Hit the Delicious Feels!

A weekend brunch—whether alone or with a friend—is a big highlight for me. I always look forward to the end of the week because I can visit my go-to, sit down, and enjoy the most delicious meal while soaking up the sun.

There’s something special about brunches, like life somehow feels more peaceful. Honestly, there should be research about how a good Eggs Benny can turn a tough day into a good one.

Nothing gets me going like a delicious meal, and when the vibes are right, I know it’ll be even better. After devouring popular and hidden gems in Vaughan, here are my top brunch spots that will fight off the Sunday scaries.

Evviva oozes a brunch atmosphere. The interior is stunning—classic with a touch of a trendy vibe—with comfortable seating, a gorgeous color palette, and a lovely outdoor area for sunny day brunches in Vaughan.

The pancakes shine bright with their perfectly soft texture. Try the Fluffy Vegan Pancakes for a stack served with berry compote, strawberries, blueberries, and whipped cream made from coconut!

Another meal worth every loonie is the Florentine Eggs Benedict, served with an English muffin, baby spinach, fries, and salad. Brunch o’clock isn’t complete without a mimosa with fresh orange juice.

Pro Tip:

On holidays (they’re usually open on these days), book an online reservation to secure a table. Weekends are for walk-ins only, so it’s best to get up early to beat the crowd.

At Tubbies All Day Big Breakfast, the portion sizes are always generous. If you’re craving sweet brunch options, catching up with friends, or needing a good meal after a rough night out, this is the place to go!

The vibe is casual—no pretentiousness, just good ‘ol late breakfast. Start your order with the popular funnel cake fries, perfect for sweet cravings.

There’s a lovely variety on the menu, filled with egg-cellent options, like the Have It Your Way Omelette, which is made with three eggs and five toppings of your own choosing. The Croffle is a good option for a light snack, which is a croissant made into a waffle.

Pro Tip:

This brunch spot gets busy, especially on weekends. Try to avoid visiting when you’re really, really hungry, unless you don’t mind a short delay on your order.

One of my stops for brunch and coffee is Bready Cafe, where the menu is worth the short detour on my way home. The pastries command the counter, as they’re perfectly baked with a nice golden brown colour and always taste fresh.

It’s also got an impressive savoury menu full of classic brunch favourites. Try the Scrambled Egg and Smoked Salmon, served in a multi-grain bagel, for a smoky and scrumptious start to your day.

Since you’re in a cafe, you cannot skip the Matcha Latte, which is one of the best I’ve had in Vaughan. It’s a smooth and perfect pairing to a sweet brunch, like the super adorable Bow Croissant or the crowd favourite Vanilla and Berries Cube Croissant.

Pro Tip:

If you want to try the pastries, get there early before they run out of ingredients.

Finding a brunch spot in Vaughan is easy peasy because of Pür and Simple, a trendy restaurant where every corner is picture-worthy. It feels timeless yet contemporary, with a tinge of modern industrial vibe.

And the food? Not so simple, but delectable, hits the mark, and is totally unforgettable. If you have a big appetite—or just really hungry—the skillets will satisfy your hunger. Try Pesto Philly Steak, made with thin pieces of steak, roasted red peppers, and cheese.

One of the best parts about this place is the limited deals, which never disappoint. You can taste scrumptious meals that perfectly capture the taste of the season, as well as creative concoctions that you never thought would go well together—but perfectly do!

Pro Tip:

If you want to skip waiting in line on busy weekends, join the waitlist on the website. It’s a reservation that lets you secure a table, so you don’t have to queue once you get there.

Clementina in Woodbridge knows how to cook up a storm in the kitchen. It brings up an absolutely delish experience, where the eggs taste fresh, the pancakes are fluffy, and the breads come with a pleasant texture.

I would also like to say that the food is always prepared beautifully—colourful and TikTok-worthy! If you want a filling meal for the whole group, the Clementina Famous has all the brunch ingredients: omelette, pancakes, French toast, potatoes, and more!

For a solo meal, don’t miss out on the Blueberry Pancakes, which are made with cottage cheese and buttermilk, topped with blueberries and maple syrup. Go for a Pomegranate Martini because a refreshing cocktail is the right way to finish brunch.

Pro Tip:

If possible, pick edge seats or corner tables. The place is spacious, but it can feel crowded when it’s full because the tables are positioned close to each other. You can have more privacy if you aren’t sandwiched between two tables.

Menu

Once you see the food at Kotsy’s Breakfast and Lunch, you’re going to wish you woke up early. At this diner-styled brunch spot, everything on the menu is filling and satisfying, both for the tummy and taste buds.

It’s got all the classic brunch fare, like big breakfasts, eggs, and sandwiches. You’ll be on cloud nine when you take a look at the eggs Benedict section (there are loads of yummy options), but I always veer towards Kotsy’s Benny for the grilled sausage.

The drinks menu is incredible, too. There’s your usual freshly squeezed juices (the OJ is really good with a Benny), but on days when you don’t mind the calories, the Vanilla Milkshake is satisfyingly sweet—and a way to skip dessert!

Pro Tip:

Try visiting on weekdays when it’s not so busy. There tends to be a bit of a wait for food to arrive on weekends.

Ravine Cafe

Menu

Whatever Ravine Cafe cooks up turns out amazing. Think: Italian-style omelettes, tummy-filling sandwiches, buttermilk pancakes, and artfully flavoured waffles.

The waffles are perfectly cooked with just the right amount of icing sugar on top, but you’ve got to order the Pistachio Waffle to get the hype, which comes with crushed pistachios and strawberries.

The savoury options are impressive in taste and texture, like the Salmon Frittata. But I always lean towards the sweet dishes because the chefs know how it’s done! You mustn’t leave without trying the Cannoli Pancakes, topped with ricotta cream.

Pro Tip:

Order a latte to balance out the sweetness. The Chai Tea Latte will also complement the sweet pancakes.

La Veranda

La Veranda is cozy, warm, and beautiful, bringing in a laid-back vibe that perfectly captures those relaxing Sunday mornings. The mood’s on point, but that’s not where the good things end.

The brunch menu is impressive, offering the usual brunch fare, but with pizza added to the list. And I’m glad it’s there, because the Margherita is chef’s kiss, with perfectly crispy crust and rich in flavours without being too overpowering.

Don’t skip the Brie Foccacia, which is a freshly baked bread with a whole round of melted brie on top. And if you really love bread, order the Shakshukas and grab focaccia to scoop the deep flavours of the tomato red pepper ragu and eggs.

Pro Tip:

Skip busy hours because meals tend to arrive a tad later than usual.

A neighbourhood favourite, The Vaughan City Grill will not disappoint your brunch cravings. It’s your local hangout, where the food is good and the prices are affordable—you can actually get a good, filling meal without spending a ton!

The menu is long, with full brekkie meals, omelettes, eggs Benny, sandwiches, wraps, waffles, and toasts. It’s got everything you could think of, and it knows how to serve brunch staples in Vaughan.

The Eggs Benedict is simple and a classic, but it’s elevated here, with the hollandaise sauce that’s out of this world. Another must-try is the Chicken and Waffle with spicy maple syrup (don’t forget to get the spicy one for that extra flavour).

Pro Tip:

Don’t forget to top up your coffee. It’s bottomless cups here!

Turkish brunch hits different, and that’s exactly what Cappadocia Cafe & Bakery offers. It combines the classics with flavours of Turkey, and what you’ll taste is savoury and sweet dishes with a Mediterranean twist.

Take the Garden Mix Benedict, for example, a fresh plate of poached egg with hollandaise sauce, on top of mixed greens and turkey and chicken slices. It’s not your typical eggs Benny, but it works so well—filling and healthy!

If you’re craving deep flavours, dipping bread in Menemen with Cheese is my personal recommendation. It’s scrambled eggs cooked with tomato, green pepper, and mozzarella cheese. Finish it with a hot cup of Turkish coffee to refresh your palate.

And if you’re into sweet brunch meals, the waffles are drizzled with loads of sauce. Better yet, check out the decadent pistachio offerings—some are only available for a limited time.

Pro Tip:

If you aren’t keen on strong brews, skip the Turkish coffee, or it’ll keep you awake ‘til the next day. Better order tea or a latte.
