And their concierge-style service means you get a high-end, personalized touch that’ll make your wedding feel truly special.

We also love their 24/7 availability. Seriously, clients love that they’re always just a phone call or text away, ready to calm any pre-wedding jitters or last-minute worries. 

Another aspect we appreciate is that their attention to detail is next level, ensuring everything looks picture-perfect and runs like clockwork.

But we’re a bit bummed that they only take on a limited number of clients each year, so you’ll want to book early if you’re interested. The upside is that they can focus on delivering a standout event. 

And while their prices are pricey, the level of service and luxury they provide makes them a top contender.

A highlight for Kennedy Event Planning is that their Petite Wedding package is a great option if you’re looking to keep things cozy and small. 

We also learned that they’ve been featured in all the top wedding magazines and even on TV, so you know they’ve got a solid track record.

It’s also neat how flexible and attentive the team is. They’re known for swooping in and handling any hiccups that might pop up on your big day, like managing last-minute vendor issues without even breaking a sweat.

Their use of local, quality florals means your wedding will look gorgeous while also supporting local growers. On top of that, their packages are super flexible, letting you customize exactly what suits your needs. 

We were especially impressed by their Final Management and Coordination service, which starts at a reasonable $3,000—ideal if you’ve got most of the planning covered but need someone to handle the final details.

However, they’re closed on Sundays, so you’ll need to work around that if weekends are your main planning time. 

While their full-service packages start around $9,000, which is a bit on the higher side, their expertise in both planning and florals makes it a solid investment if you’re looking for a beautifully cohesive wedding design.

Holly Ralph might just be one of the most reliable wedding planners in the capital with her versatility and good listening skills.

She gets to know her clients and their ideal plans first before she gives her opinions, which we think is a great sign of a passionate planner. One of the best parts of what she does is that she manages the setup and takedown of the event to avoid stress!

Additionally, she’s very accurate when it comes to scheduling. If problems arise, no matter what it is, Holly is quick to troubleshoot with her bag of endless backup plans! She even communicates with all suppliers and guests for maximum coordination.

Lastly, a small but really heartwarming gesture she does is that she takes care of the clients—she ensures that the bride’s makeup is done well, everyone stays hydrated and grabs a bite, and the guests know what to do. Truly a one-stop shop for all planning!

But, of course, with quality service like that, you know you have to pay a good price for it. If you’re blessed with finances, Holly should be one of your best options. If you’re trying to save, though, you might want to look around for other planners.

I cannot stress enough how exceptional Holly is as a Day of Coordinator/Planner. She truly went above and beyond for us, picking up and arranging flowers, setting up our decor, making sure everything stayed on schedule, to even seeing up my dress when my bustle broke right before our first dance. If I could give her 6 stars, I would

Holly was the glue that held our wedding together. She helped us manage the whole setup and takedown of our event, an unexpectedly quick flip between ceremony and reception and was so encouraging and understanding throughout the whole process. She had solutions for every hiccup that came up; she had umbrellas for when it rained, supplies to hang our sign and made sure everyone got a late night snack. When we were struggling to communicate with our venue, Holly was so flexible. If i could give her 6 stars, I would.
