Pros
- Won Top Choice Awards

- Offers membership plan
- Reasonably-priced
Cons
- One location is closed on Saturdays
- Online form links to an error page
One of the best voice lesson schools in Edmonton on our list is Resonate Music. Why? They provide highly accessible classes for everyone!
You don’t have to worry about fitting a voice lesson into your schedule because their availability is incredible! They have classes until 9:00 in the evening and are open on weekends, too.
They also have two locations in Edmonton: the north and central areas. But you should know that Resonate Central is closed on Saturdays, and both branches are closed on Fridays.
We commend the teachers for their quality teaching skills! It’s incredible that Resonate Music has been voted the top music school by Top Choice Awards.
A unique factor they have over other music schools is the membership plan. It offers many benefits to students, including unlimited make-up sessions, free recording studio time, and secured time slots.
As for voice lessons, they accept students aged six and above. Don’t think you’re too old to start voice lessons!
Additionally, you can choose to have your vocal lesson in their studio or at home. We appreciate this because it’s safe and convenient for students.
Moreover, we think their rates are reasonable. It’s only $30 for a 30-minute session, which is within the standard rate in Edmonton.
The music teachers are talented as well! They were highly professional and encouraged their students without sounding scary.
Further, we admire that they use different styles and techniques. It helps expand their student’s knowledge and skills.
But some people have a minor complaint: their online contact form links to an error page. Due to that, we suggest calling or emailing them for inquiries.

Pros
- Has two locations
- Has a family-friendly ambience
- Accepts 6-month-old students
Cons
- Located in Sherwood Park
- No one-time lessons
Crescendo Music Studios has been around for over 15 years. We admire these years of experience and how they expanded their services.
They have also expanded to two studios! It benefits students (and teachers!) because there are now more teaching rooms for more lessons. The family-friendly ambience of the place helps with young students, too.
Kids as young as six can enroll for a private voice lesson. Don’t worry if you’re an adult or senior because you can still take the class!
Additionally, there are group lessons for kids to let them experience being part of a musical ensemble. Even 6-month-old babies can join these classes, with parental guidance, of course.
If you’re not available for in-person voice lessons, you can opt for a virtual one. It’s a safe option and useful for kids with busy parents.
It’s worth noting that we appreciate the warm environment the music teachers have created. They teach a lot of kids, and a pleasant setting can keep them encouraged and happy.
Moreover, we were glad to hear that the students felt genuine care and love for music from their teachers. We believe this is inspirational and worth highlighting.
A minor concern is Crescendo Music Studios is located in Sherwood Park. But it’s only around 20 minutes by car, so that’s an upside.
We just hope they can add one-time sessions for people who want to try first. Their intro lessons are for 3 days at $99, which not many may have the budget for if they’re just trying out.

Pros
- Winner of Top Choice Award
- Has two locations
- Offers acting classes
- Has highly experienced teachers
Cons
- No one-time classes
- No trial classes
What do we like about Visionary Centre for the Performing Arts so much that we included it on our list? Well, they won the Top Choice Award for the best music school!
We also like the various services they offer. Aside from music lessons, you can take acting classes here as well!
You can also take Saturday classes if you have school or work. For us, that makes them highly available.
Additionally, you can take private in-person or virtual lessons. We appreciate that they make their classes accessible to anyone in Edmonton.
But if you prefer group lessons, they have that, too! You can learn different genres and train yourself to perform on your own and as an ensemble.
Plus, they have another office in St. Albert. Their office hours and branches are convenient, right?
But a very impressive aspect we found is the highly experienced music teachers. Some even performed in theatres and operas overseas, greatly adding to their expertise.
It’s worth noting that they have summer classes, perfect for kids! It comes in four and eight-week packages, giving you plenty of time to work on your vocal performance!
But we hope they can offer one-time voice lessons for people wanting to try their school. We also found that they don’t have trial classes, and the lowest rate starts at $115 a month.

Pros
- Offers hip-hop and ballet lessons
- Offers free trial class
- Has a two-week summer camp
- Summer camp includes a field trip
Cons
- Online class is for current students only
- No Christmas and summer break classes
At Windermere Music Academy, we love that they provide different varieties of music lessons. It’s not just voice, piano, and guitar lessons, they also have hip-hop and ballet classes!
The school was only founded in 2016. But we were impressed at how they have improved since then!
The main aspect we like about this school is the music teachers’ evident passion. They were professional and helpful with the students, which we admire.
Also, many parents complimented the pleasant atmosphere the teachers provided. First-time students can get nervous meeting new people, so this quality is admirable!
The classes go on until 8:00 PM, which we were happy about because it’s available for voice lesson students who have school or work during the day. They’re open on Saturdays, too.
But the problem is that the Windermere Music Academy is closed on Christmas and summer breaks in July. For us, that limits their availability.
On a good note, they compensate by offering summer camp classes for two weeks. Oh, this includes a field trip as well. Fun!
It’s worth mentioning that they offer free trial classes. But keep in mind that there’s currently a waitlist, and you can’t join an online class because they only offer virtual lessons to current students right now.

Pros
- Open on Saturday and Sunday
- Has no makeup lesson limit
- Teaches various music genres
- Known for caring approach
Cons
- Limited music lessons
- Small team of teachers
We were pretty glad to have found Keys to Success. It’s because this musical school is very flexible to students, which we commend.
Unlike other voice lesson schools in Edmonton, Keys to Success has no make-up lesson limit. We appreciate that because it’s beneficial in case of unexpected situations.
You can even reschedule your voice lesson online! That’s convenient, stress-free, and accommodating!
They’re also open on Saturdays and Sundays. In our opinion, their availability and flexible schedule are essential for working adults and students at school.
Additionally, you don’t have to feel pressured to keep doing the lessons because of the month-to-month membership. We find that pretty useful, especially for students who need to go on vacations.
Moreover, their voice lessons are available for ages seven and up. Even if you’re an adult, you can join in!
It’s worth highlighting that the teachers are very patient, especially with kids. Past students complimented their caring approach, which helped with confidence when singing.
A minor concern is they have limited music lessons. Currently, they only have voice, guitar, violin, and piano.
Another downside is there’s a limited team of music teachers. We think that can be an issue during busy months, especially summer school breaks.
Don’t worry, though! The Keys to Success teachers are highly talented! They can teach different genres, like classical, jazz, EDM, and movie soundtracks!
