Pros

  • Provides drywall repair and wallpaper removal
  • Available for small and big projects
  • Offers reasonable rates

Cons

  • Closed on Sundays

One of the things we like about All Painting Toronto is their accessibility. They cater to Toronto and the GTA, allowing more clients to hire them for painting services!

In addition to that, we really like that they service residential and commercial clients. For us, that shows their expertise in different types of projects.

But they’re closed on Sundays, unfortunately. Some painters in Toronto are available on weekends, so we found this a downside.

On a positive note, All Painting Toronto does interior and exterior painting services. That adds to their scope of services, don’t you think?

Speaking of their services, we appreciate that they also offer drywall repairs. It’s a nice offering because you don’t have to hire another company to fix your walls before getting your home painted!

Furthermore, we like how All Painting Toronto acts as a one-stop shop for interior painting. They also offer wallpaper removal, so there’s no need to take care of that hard task yourself.

Another thing we like is their thorough prep work and painting process. It’s commendable how they ensure your belongings and floors are safe from dirt and stains.

As for commercial buildings, we were glad to learn they service small and big structures! They work in offices, schools, gyms, and underground parking garages!

It certainly helps that they have reasonable prices. Some clients we surveyed even said that All Painting Toronto gave them one of the lowest quotes in the area—a massive advantage for your wallet!

Pros

  • Open daily
  • Award-winning company
  • Offers handyman services
  • Offers lifetime warranty for interior jobs
  • Has flexible payment options

Cons

  • Peak seasons have minimum job size

Home Painters Toronto, open any day of the week, is one of our top painting services because they’re one of the most recognized due to their awards. We think it’s possibly due to their skills since they’ve been around for over 35 years.

They won the HomeStars Best of Award not once, not twice, but seven times! In addition, they won the 2023 Best of the Best and the Giving Back Award in 2018 from the same awarding body.

But wait, there’s more! They were one of The Globe and Mail 2020 Canada’s Top Growing Companies and the ThreeBestRated Best Business in 2023.

Clearly, these awards impressed us! In our opinion, it’s not easy to earn recognition in Toronto’s competitive industries!

We also appreciate that Home Painters Toronto offers many services, eliminating the need to hire a different company. Besides painting, we particularly like their handyman services, including flooring installation!

For a complete home makeover, we like that you can ask for exterior painting, too. It’s pretty thorough, as they also offer brick painting.

They complete their services with commercial interior and exterior painting. We want to give them points for accepting small and big projects, from offices to factories!

As for the warranty, we were stoked to find they offer a lifetime warranty for interior painting due to paint quality failure and two years for exterior projects.

Lastly, it’s notable that Home Painters Toronto offers flexible payment options such as no-interest installment plans and no-fee credit card payments. Great for low-budget clients, especially since they have a minimum job size during peak seasons.

Pros

  • Ideal for interior painting
  • Offers Painter For a Day service
  • Provides thorough cleanups
  • Thoroughly plans for limited daily disruptions

Cons

  • Doesn’t focus on exterior commercial painting
  • Closed on Sundays

In 2001, Craig Armstrong established CAM Painters after graduating and working for his brother’s painting business. We wanted to highlight this because we admire his dedication to setting high standards in the business.

Furthermore, we think it’s notable that he expanded his business and earned loyal clients simply by going door-to-door. His commitment and enthusiasm to the field definitely made an impact on us.

CAM Painters provides interior and exterior painting services, which is good news for residential clients! There are no worries about messy jobs because the painters will cover up your belongings and thoroughly clean up afterward.

Additionally, we applaud their Painter For the Day service, which is only $550 plus HST. It’s ideal when you want to touch up a few rooms or areas without disrupting your schedule for a week or so.

Compared to other painters in Toronto, we noticed they service a limited number of clients. They don’t focus on painting for large structures, like medical facilities or basement parking.

Looking on the bright side, CAM Painters does interior painting on condos and offices. Plus, we appreciate that they always develop a thorough plan to limit the disruption to their clients, which was common praise received from our surveys!

But again, they don’t specialize in painting the exterior of office buildings. So, that’s something to think about before hiring them.

Although we like CAM Painters in Toronto, their service isn’t available for Sunday appointments. Nonetheless, they make up for it due to their long operating hours—until 9:00 PM!

Pros

  • Worked with HGTV Canada
  • Has a wide range of services
  • Uses eco-friendly paints
  • Available daily

Cons

  • Instances of poor communication

Another painting contractor in Toronto we like is Painters Plus. They first caught our attention due to being on TV!

Painters Plus was the painting service that HGTV Canada trusted. They worked on the 10-part series Moving the McGillivrays, where TV host Scott McGillivray renovated a house.

Does it not speak about their work quality? The way we see it, a famous TV channel wouldn’t hire them if their job was subpar, right?

Their scope of services is also extensive, offering interior and exterior painting for residential and commercial properties. We found it impressive that they can handle large jobs, too!

Among their many services, we specifically like their home staging services. Their painters will help prepare homes for potential buyers, which is an ideal service for realtors!

What earns Painters Plus more points from us is their use of eco-friendly paints. They use zero or low-VOC (volatile organic compounds) paints, which reduce harmful chemicals and are better for the environment.

Their daily availability makes them accessible, too. It’s a definite advantage since not all painters in Toronto offer weekend services.

But a downside is their client communication, particularly regarding touch-ups and price estimates, which earned some complaints from previous customers. Still, we appreciate Painters Plus for addressing these complaints.

Pros

  • Won HomeStars Awards multiple times
  • Provides 1-day interior painting job
  • Offers Painter For a Day service
  • Uses zero or low-VOC paints

Cons

  • Northwest location is closed on Sundays
  • Work quality depends on the branch

An accessible painting service in Toronto is WOW 1 Day Painting. We found it convenient that they have two locations in the city, both locally operated.

Impressively, they won multiple awards from HomeStars. These are the Best of Awards, which they won seven times, Best of the Best twice, and the Giving Back Award twice.

A favourite aspect of ours is their scope of services for residential and commercial painting. They’re even available for cabinet painting only if you want to give your home a quick, fresh look.

Plus, we appreciate their convenient wallpaper and popcorn ceiling removal. It’s helpful because there’s no need to hire someone else—and you don’t have to do it yourself!

True to their name, they specialize in quick painting services. An outstanding service is how they can finish an entire interior job in just one day—that’s really fast!

A more affordable interior painting service is their Painter For a Day. They offer this for a fixed price, and you only need to pay for one painter instead of multiple ones.

Notably, they use low or no-VOC paints, which are eco-friendly. We found this ideal for a one-day job because there are no toxic fumes, so you and your family will be safe!

However, since WOW 1 Day Painting branches are locally owned, they’re going to have different schedules. The northwest location is closed on Sundays, while the Etobicoke branch is open daily.

Also, the attention to detail will rely on the painters and the Toronto branch they work at. It did earn a few complaints from our client surveys due to some inconsistencies, particularly with the painting workmanship.
