Here’s what impressed us about Physical Pain Solutions: their over 17 years of physiotherapy experience and extensive field background.

They’re also experts in various conditions, such as geriatrics, musculoskeletal, and neurological issues, whether you have chronic pain or sports-related injuries.

We also learned during our appointment that they use a combination of different treatment plans for peak wellness. To be honest, we love this approach because it has been successful since many clients we talked with noted changes after a few visits.

Our only issue? Their limited availability (only one physiotherapist is available a few times a week). It’s not a big deal, though, since they offer in-person, virtual, and home visit sessions (very convenient for people with chronic or extreme pain).

Physical Pain Solutions is also a solid choice, budget-wise. These guys make it easy for anyone to get physiotherapy in Montreal because of their affordable rates—it’s only $138 for 1 hour of assessment and physical exam.

Pros

  • Combines different treatment plans
  • Treats various conditions
  • Provides virtual sessions and home visits
  • Affordably priced
  • Successful track record

Cons

  • Limited availability

Paradigm Sports Physio is the ultimate clinic for any sports-related injuries in Montreal. Their experienced and knowledgeable team of physiotherapists provide a holistic approach and hands-on treatment plans to ensure positive overall health.

Our visit to their state-of-the-art facility left us impressed because of their clean and bright clinic (and they’re conveniently located!). Their fully equipped, on-site gym makes rehabilitation convenient for clients.

It’s awesome these guys treat various conditions at an affordable price, such as joint injuries, shoulder pain, and chronic pain. Plus, they help those recovering from injuries, and they welcome clients of all abilities!

Sadly, their services are limited than other physiotherapists in Montreal. They don’t offer pelvic floor physiotherapy and don’t accept clients under 12.

On the bright side, their clients had good experiences after only a couple of visits. Their tailored treatment plans and level of care have resulted in positive changes, which we were very happy about.

Pros

  • Conveniently located
  • State-of-the-art facility; has an on-site gym
  • Prices are affordable
  • Appointments are available 6x a week

Cons

  • Limited range of services

Personalized care resulted in positive changes

“About 1 year ago I developed a really severe sciatica. After a few appointments at another physio in the neighborhood which yielded little to no positive change, I started seeing Charlotte at Paradigm. The care I received was very personalized and I left each appointment with an updated training program suiting my condition. Today, my sciatica is almost completely resolved and besides the excellent care I received, I also feel better equipped to take better care of my posture on a daily basis. I highly recommend Paradigm to anyone, especially if you have been let down by another physio in the past!”

    Adrien Pierre, Google Review

    Provides tailored treatment plans

“I recently had the pleasure of receiving treatment from Jacob, a skilled physiotherapist. His expertise and dedication were evident from the very first session. He took the time to understand my issues thoroughly and tailored a treatment plan that was both effective and manageable. Thanks to his care, I’ve experienced significant improvement. I am very happy with his service and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a great physiotherapist.”

One of our top picks, From the Ground Up Physiothérapie, is all about finding the root cause of the problem instead of temporary solutions.

Their physiotherapist has first-hand experience with chronic pain, which shows us that they personally understand their clients’ struggles. We also like that their training in physiotherapy was extensive, from studying to experimenting with different methods.

We appreciate that they don’t use cookie-cutter programs. Instead of machines, they use tailored plans and stick to exercises, mobility, and movements to help clients with their injuries and pain.

Although they offer a wide variety of services, it’s a bummer they’re still limited since they cannot accept workplace-related injuries. But they still treat a bunch of conditions, like arthritis, foot pain, and migraines.

And while we love their comprehensive consultation, they’re pricier than other physiotherapists in Montreal, with an initial assessment of $200. But from what we’ve seen, every loonie is worth it!

    Pros

    • Had first-hand experience with chronic pain
    • No cookie-cutter programs
    • Focuses on movement and exercises; no machines

    Cons

    • Services are a tad limited
    • Pricier assessments

Found solutions within a few sessions

“Greg is a savant. He had me feeling muscles I didn’t know I had but were responsible for all my problems. I came to Greg with back pain, shoulder pain, heel pain, and lack of flexibility. He found solutions to all of those issues in a handful of sessions. Issues I’ve had for a lifetime. So I asked him to help me move better in my golf swing. I now hit the ball farther than all of my friends. Greg has never swung a golf club in his life. Savant”

    Jake, Google Review

    Focuses on movement

“I really appreciated Greg’s approach to physio being more focused on movement and athleticism. He helped me develop new movement patterns that were more balanced and efficient. The sessions left me with new muscle soreness I hadn’t felt before, in a good way. While the price point is quite high, I learned a bunch of new exercises and concepts I will move forward with, and overall I’d say it was worth it.”

We love that PosturoPlus has two locations in Montreal, in Gouin and Lachine, because this makes them very accessible to individuals struggling with pain.

Plus, it’s awesome they provide free consultations, which gives you a chance to see them personally before committing to a paid session. Not all physiotherapists offer that, you know!

During our consultation, we learned that they have male and female physiotherapists. While it might not seem like a big deal to everybody, it allows you to choose someone you’re comfortable with.

They also provide a variety of services, such as musculoskeletal issues treatment, pelvic floor and perineal rehabilitation, and sports-related injuries. However, not all services are available in both clinics.

The cool thing is that they accept babies and children under five years old at their Lachine clinic.

We were also happy when we learned about their prices! The evaluation is only $110 and follow-ups are less than a hundred!

    Pros

    • Provides free consultations
    • Has male and female physiotherapists
    • Treats babies and children
    • Prices are reasonable

    Cons

    • Not all services are available in both clinics

    Friendly and professional

“Great place for anything your body needs! Their physiotherapists, kinesiologists (special S/O to Hugo) and massotherapists are very friendly and professional. The place is super clean and well equipped, would highly recommend to everyone.”

    Jad Kassis, Google Review

Comfortable session from start to finish

“Great greeting at the entrance! Very clean environment, Patrick and his team make you feel comfortable from the start and remain professional at all time. loved the service, you definitely leave the place feeling newer:)!”

Nxt Generation PHYSIO has earned a spot on our list because of their extensive expertise in physical rehabilitation. We also love that they have a team of physiotherapists who can cater to all ages.

It’s cool they’re equipped to work with clients big or small. Yes, that includes babies and children because they have a pediatric physiotherapist.

It’s also awesome they offer sports and family physiotherapy. That means they cater to a wide range of issues, such as golfer’s elbow, ligament sprain, muscle strain, and low back pain.

Their approach is worth mentioning because they provide exercise plans for a speedy recovery and give strategies for better pain management. Basically, they’re all in when it comes to helping!

During our client surveys, we did receive complaints regarding miscommunications. Thankfully, there weren’t a lot.

As for availability, these guys have three branches in Montreal. That’s super handy because their clients can conveniently come to the nearest location!

    Pros

    • Has a large team
    • Works with all ages
    • Provides pediatric physiotherapy
    • Has a comprehensive approach
    • Has 3 locations in Montreal

    Cons

    • Some issues with communication

    Provides tailored solutions

“Great service with Mitchelle. Took the time to listen and ask precise questions about my issues and provided a tailored solution to my specific needs. Definitely would recommend.”

    Morad Hosseinalifam, Google Review

    Session made a huge difference

“I’m SO happy I finally decided to make an appointment with Christophe! My shoulders felt significantly better after my first appointment. He also was able release tensions I had been accumulating from stress and bad posture. I didn’t think it would’ve made such a huge difference but now I’m completely sold! I’ll definitely keep up with my regular sessions because of how great I’ve been feeling! 10/10 highly recommend !”
