It’s admirable that they limit single-use plastics, from importing flowers to sending them out to customers. That’s a notable aspect for us, especially these days.

Another aspect that’s worth mentioning is their support of local businesses. They even use handmade goods when curating unique pieces! That’s nice, eh?

In addition, we like Pictus Goods because they use local and imported flowers. But the best part is they try to source locally as much as the Canadian weather permits!

Pictus Goods specializes in garden-style floral arrangements. In our opinion, their selection looks natural and beautiful at the same time, which is pleasing to our eyes!

However, we noticed they have a limited selection of flowers for delivery. That’s a downer since it limits the options for customers.

On the bright side, we appreciate Pictus Goods offering fresh and dried flowers. We like dried flowers, actually, because they’re eco-friendly and last longer—no worries about seasonal availability!

We also like their floral subscription services if you want fresh flowers delivered to your doorstep! Plus, we appreciate their flower services for small weddings!

It’s convenient that Pictus Goods provides same-day deliveries in Toronto with an 11:00 AM cut-off time. They also deliver Canada-wide, making them accessible to anyone!

Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed that they don’t deliver on Sundays. If you’re ordering flowers for Mother’s Day, which falls on the second Sunday of May, we suggest getting them delivered a day early.

The best part about Sweetpea’s is their unique floral arrangements. Several media outlets have recognized their talents, which is an impressive feat!

Furthermore, we were glad to learn that Citytv Breakfast Television, CBC Metro Morning, Toronto Life, and the National Post have featured them. It shows their talents in floral arrangements, doesn’t it?

A commendable aspect is that they’re an environmentally-focused business. We appreciate their efforts in reducing waste, especially in a nature-based industry.

We also like that Sweetpea’s has different varieties of floral arrangements: modest, standard, and premium. These choices allow the customer to choose their ideal budget range.

While we appreciate that they use fresh flowers for beautiful bouquets, we found their prices a bit higher. Most of their modest floral arrangements (their cheapest option) start at $109, which is pricier than others on our list.

Looking at the upside, we appreciate their floral subscription services to treat yourself (or others) to your dose of weekly fresh blooms! It’s a plus that this includes free delivery in Toronto!

Additionally, we applaud Sweetpea’s for offering same-day flower deliveries in Toronto and the GTA. Just remember to place your order before 11:00 AM!

Sadly, they don’t deliver on Sundays, which is unfortunate if the occasion falls on that day. So, stick to advanced orders, maybe?

Wild North Flowers is one of our picks for many reasons. One of which is for their environmental advocacy. They use local blooms to reduce their impact on the environment.

Additionally, it’s a massive plus that Wild North Flowers plants one tree for every single purchased item on their website. For us, that says a lot about their advocacy, especially from a business that’s focused on nature.

Another thing we like is their signature-style floral arrangement because they use six different flower varieties. That ensures a colourful bouquet, no?

Although we commend them for primarily using flowers grown in Ontario, that also means they don’t offer roses since those are challenging to grow in this climate.

Still, we like their selection, including fresh and dried flowers. We also like their design options, which we found are perfect for any occasion and season—they come in different colour themes!

But we noticed that their dried flower selections are somewhat limited. We hope they can add more for customers who prefer long-lasting floral options.

Another drawback is their floral subscription service, which is quite expensive compared to other flower shops in Toronto. Their standard arrangement starts at $442, while the large one costs over $700.

On the upside, Wild North Flowers delivers six days a week, except on Sundays. We also like that they offer same-day deliveries in Toronto and the GTA—no worries about forgotten occasions!

What we like most about Bloomen Flower Delivery is their accessibility. They deliver 365 days a year—on weekends and holidays, too!

This Toronto flower delivery service also provides same-day shipping. It’s a bonus their order cut-off is later than other florists, at 3:00 PM!

Another aspect we love is they offer free delivery in Toronto! Clearly, they’re the ideal florist to go to if you forget a special occasion—they can save you from stress!

However, there were reports of delivery issues from our client surveys, with some experiencing late deliveries. Nonetheless, we think their customer service department is accommodating because they address these issues promptly.

Can we applaud their vast bloom selection? They have many flower varieties, which offer a tonne of options to customers!

Furthermore, they carry flower arrangements for any occasion, which we found is beneficial for customers unsure which type to get. It certainly helps their products are reasonably priced, with many choices less than $100.

In addition, we like their flower subscription, which comes in three sizes. These are affordable as well, starting at $60, which includes 24 to 29 stems.

Lastly, we like the fact that Bloomen Flower Delivery frequently has discounted flowers. Small flower bouquets can go as low as $50, which helps customers on tight budgets!

Bellwood Blooms is a Toronto florist we believe deserves to be on our list. The main reason is their handcrafted flower arrangements, which blew us away!

We admire them for designing their bouquets based on the seasons. For us, that means you’ll get fresh flowers every time!

Plus, we commend Bellwood Blooms for supporting local businesses. They do this by using Ontario-grown blooms.

Still, we like that they can offer roses even though they’re difficult to grow in the province. It’s because they also import flowers outside of Canada, including Holland and countries in South America.

As for their bloom selection, we appreciate that you can choose between fresh and dried flowers. You can opt for dried flowers if you want something to last way longer than fresh ones.

On the positive side, we like that their price range caters to different budgets. They have flowers that are less than $100!

It’s also helpful that Bellwood Blooms offers same-day deliveries in Toronto, except they don’t deliver on Sundays and Mondays. Still, we commend them for making an exception on Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day weekends!
