As a luxury rehab centre, they offer the best comforts in life. We love the peaceful space and spa-like amenities we saw (they have a sauna, pool, and steam bath!), which provide a cozy setting.

Sure, the price may not be the cheapest, but they have financing options. And the high level of care we’ve seen makes it worth every dollar.

One of our picks for drug rehab is EHN Bellwood Toronto because they’re the largest network of publicly funded and private treatment services, making them very accessible to many needing help. Plus, they’ve been around for over four decades.

They also stick to evidence-based treatment programs because these have established effectiveness based on studies. And these are only done by their addiction specialists, which we appreciate.

During our inquiry, we learned they offer inpatient, virtual, and hybrid treatment programs. What’s good about these options is the patient can work with a flexible schedule without compromising the treatment plan.

The aftercare program is solid too, including weekly group therapy sessions and access to drug monitoring. However, it was a bummer to hear that some patients were discharged immediately by the staff.

When we visited, the drug rehab centre was complete with basic facilities and peaceful spaces. But we still felt it needed some upgrades and maintenance to keep the place spotless.

Addiction Rehab Toronto provides a diverse range of treatment options, one of the reasons we like them. They provide one-on-one and group counselling, as well as family counselling, which we appreciate because addiction also affects families.

There are a lot of therapy methods available, such as music, art, and meditation. We actually like all the options because they can find the best strategy to help people in recovery.

During our visit, we learned that they also help various individuals, which makes them accessible in Toronto. They help treat various addictions, like cocaine and party drugs.

Additionally, we like that this drug rehab was newly renovated, which means upgraded facilities. We like the modern spaces and five-star amenities, such as a basketball court, fitness studios, and a movie theatre.

It was unfortunate to hear reports about inexperienced staff during our surveys. Nonetheless, we appreciate that they’ve made a massive improvement since then, from treatment to aftercare.

Renascent is all about helping individuals with addiction and their loved ones. The treatment programs are not only focused on the addict but also on how it affects the people that surround them.

Having been around for over 50 years, we’re confident they understand addiction as a whole. They’ve helped over 50,000 individuals, something worth noting.

We like their range of services, offering inpatient, outpatient, and virtual treatment programs. This includes a virtual intensive treatment, where the individual can get help from anywhere in the country.

Worth highlighting are the additional programs, including family care and continuing care (basically an aftercare program). The children’s program is a unique service that helps kids 7 to 13 understand and break the cycle of addiction.

They have three drug rehabs in Toronto with decent facilities, but clients have mentioned that the service quality from the staff was not consistent. On the bright side, we like the affordable pricing and the fee-for-service for inpatient programs.

We like how the Centers for Health and Healing do their focused-based rehab treatments. Instead of the 12-step method, they provide a personalized recovery plan based on needs and goals.

We also appreciate the various services they offer, such as inpatient and outpatient treatment, medical detox, and group therapy. The flexibility they offer is very helpful for individuals who have responsibilities at home.

Plus, they offer various types of therapies. One of them is the sublocade program, a medication-assisted addiction treatment that can combat dependence on opioids.

As for the facilities, we were in awe when we saw the Georgian-style house surrounded by nature. But we’d still like to see upgrades since some clients have complained about incomplete amenities, as well as inexperienced staff.

Even though you don’t get the full value of your money with the facilities, we appreciate that the homey interior and the outdoor spaces allow you to be one with nature.

Very patient and understanding

“If I could give this place 10 stars I would!  My common-law partner recently attended treatment here.  He refused everything counselling sessions, gym, complained about the food wanting Kobe and Wagu beef.  He was being ridiculous.  The staff here were patient and understanding.  He wasted half the time resisting.  He is home now and he is a totally different person.  He is grateful for the opportunity and grateful that the staff never gave up on him.  These are true professionals who care and want to help.  They gave me my person back.”
