One of the most reasonably priced repair services in Vancouver is Pete’s Appliance Repair. This local business offers free service calls for every repair job, and that’s on top of their already affordable pricing.

We also trust their knowledge and ability to repair almost all kinds of dishwasher issues, accompanied by a 90-day labour warranty. Apart from fixing major brands, such as Whirlpool and Samsung, they work on luxury names as well, like Sub-Zero and Viking.

Furthermore, their repair technicians are competent, which is the main thing we want here. Most clients we spoke with praised their professionalism, as they arrived on schedule, were efficient during the repairs, and offered advice to avoid further issues.

Unfortunately, they aren’t the easiest to contact by phone, so their online form would be an alternative option. Also, their service area doesn’t cover other Metro Vancouver municipalities.

Apollo Appliance Repair is one of our top picks in Vancouver because of their over two decades of expertise. We didn’t trust them blindly, because from what we’ve gathered, they’re well-trained at their trade.

To illustrate, they know how to resolve issues for common and not-so-common dishwasher issues for local and imported brands, such as Frigidaire, Blomberg, and LG. They don’t shy away from repairing luxury dishwashers as well, like Bosch.

You see, their certified and licensed repair technicians know what to do to complete the tasks properly. We were pleased to find that they managed to repair decades-old appliances, which isn’t an easy thing to do.

They specialise in Bosch appliances, but are also adept at all major domestic brands, as well as international ones, backed by their 90-day warranty. But it’s not always smooth sailing, since a few misunderstandings occurred, particularly about the costs.

And while there were a few instances of late arrivals, we can forgive them because they make up for it by being open seven days a week. They’re responsive as well, and can even book you the same day if their schedule allows it.
