Another thing we love is that they provide a personalised care plan for their patients containing session schedules, lifestyle tips, and effective home exercises. 

This will help patients keep track of their progress and take responsibility for maintaining the results in their day-to-day life.

We also discovered that they offer free health workshops to patients to educate and encourage them to build on the positive results of their sessions. This tells us that the company is sincere and values the welfare of its patients.  

As for their payment method, we like that they have automated payment options, especially for patients who are a bit more strict about keeping track of their expenses. It’s also a great convenience for regular patients who don’t want to have to deal with every transaction.

Just a minor concern: they only have two chiropractors in their team which may lead to availability issues, so it’s best to call them up regarding the schedule you have in mind for your session.

We are also impressed at how they can combine different techniques to optimise treatments for patients, with their age and sensitivities in mind. 

They also provide patients with a booklet explaining their diagnosis and treatment plan. Not only does this keep patients in the loop regarding their progress, it also serves as a handy reference for when patients come back for sessions in the future.

Another thing we love is that they offer other wellness services other than chiropractic care, such as massage therapy and acupuncture. This is a great way for patients to experience holistic treatment without having to go to multiple clinics or spas.

We also appreciate that they have same-day bookings, which means that patients with urgent care needs can be accommodated.

However, we would strongly recommend that you schedule a same-day booking via phone as they don’t currently have an online form available for this.

Cummings Chiropractic Family Wellness has been providing chiropractic care to residents of Calgary and surrounding areas since 2003. They use several highly-effective adjusting approaches to help improve spinal issues.

We love that they offer emergency and after-hours care, so patients who seek urgent chiropractic treatment can be attended to. They also do home visits for maintenance patients, which avoids putting extra strain on those who are physically-challenged.

We’re just a bit iffy that there’s only one chiropractor in their team. This significantly limits the number of patients they can accommodate in a single day.

With this, we would strongly recommend setting advanced appointments for after-hours care and home visits to secure a session.

It’s also nice to note that they offer other wellness services to address other musculoskeletal issues. For instance, patients who may require muscle therapy, shockwave therapy, and physical therapy for issues stemming from vehicular accidents can be treated in this clinic.

As for their fees, we like that they do direct insurance billings for most insurance companies. That patients could rely on their insurance to cover part of or all of their chiropractic sessions is a big load off their backs.

We are impressed that this company houses one of the largest teams of chiropractors in Calgary. Their combined experiences represent a wide variety of techniques and specialisations that could address a good spectrum of patient needs.

They’re also known for their comprehensive family services, which means that they can cater to patients of all ages. Parents will be happy to know that they have a good track record when it comes to dealing with kids and making them feel comfortable. 

However, we’re a bit disappointed that they’re closed on weekends. This isn’t good news for patients who don’t have much time for sessions during the week.

Fortunately, when it comes down to it, they do have an online booking system. If weekdays are difficult for you, we would advise you to take advantage of this and reserve your session well in advance so that you can prepare to take time off during the week for it.

Lastly, we are also glad that they have direct insurance billing. For patients whose insurance policies don’t cover their services, we like that they have reasonable rates with a clear breakdown of their treatment plans.

They are one of the oldest and largest teams of chiropractors in Calgary, representing various specialisations. This means that they can accommodate a variety of patients with unique needs, as there will most likely be a specialist who can attend to each one.

We’re happy to hear that their chiropractors don’t push patients to avail of excessive visits for their treatment. Instead, patients who no longer need further visits were given self-care plans for maintenance that didn’t require an extra charge.

Another thing we appreciate is that they accept same-day appointments and walk-ins. This opens the doors for patients seeking immediate care, or even first-time patients simply wanting to try a session.

However, for those who prefer having their slot secured, it’s best to go through their online appointment booking system. We like that the process even allows them to choose the chiropractor who will perform the requested service.

Just a word of caution: we learned that they only accept direct insurance billings for a limited number of sessions. We would recommend asking how many sessions are covered by your policy to avoid any unpleasant surprises down the road.
