Soma is offering a beautiful space to do yoga in

Soma is offering a beautiful space to do yoga in. The warm cork floor is unbeatable. The windows are overlooking greenery. I did a Somatic drip class with owner Ashley. It lobed the flow of poses that left me string and flexible. The studio also has a sauna and cold plunge, so that’s an added bonus.

I especially appreciate that they offer hot yoga, which I had missed at my previous studio

I’ve been attending Soma Movement Yoga Studio since January and have had a great experience. The staff are helpful, mindful, and intentional in how they lead each class.

I especially appreciate that they offer hot yoga, which I had missed at my previous studio. The space is clean, welcoming, and friendly, and the team is open to feedback. It’s a place where I can truly focus on my practice and disconnect from my busy world.

The classes have great variety

I have been attending this yoga studio for ten years and it is a wonderful place.

The staff are friendly, welcoming, and inclusive. The classes have great variety, from hot yoga to make you sweat, to restorative yoga with gong to bring balance. Plus there are special workshops and programs, like pranayama, prenatal,  introductory yoga, and yoga teacher training.

Nothing but good things to say

This studio is very unassuming from the outside but definitely a gem! Smells delightful when you walk inside. Very calming. It is a beautiful studio space, it feels healthy and serene. Simple. The vibes are really lovely. They are welcoming and helpful for new folks, and the actual class space was a good size. Excellent class. They have a wide variety of yoga classes on offer. Because of the yoga focus, the energy is good. Lots of parking. Bit of a neighbourhood spot, which is nice. Quieter than the downtown studios which is appealing. Nothing but good things to say!.

I had my first yoga class here and loved it so much

I had my first yoga class here and loved it so much. I have gone to other yoga studios but I think this is my new favourite. I loved the atmosphere, the infrared heat, and the lighting— it was all so perfect and calming. The yang/yin class was the perfect combo, I got a little exercise in with the Yang but also got the much needed relaxation after a long day with the Yin portion. I loved the instructor, Kait, her positive energy could be felt from miles away

I can’t wait to get back and take in more sessions at this fantastic studio

I had the pleasure of enjoying my 1st late evening, hot yoga class @Oxygen Yoga & Fitness as an out of town guest while in NS for work. The session turned out to be more than I had expected. The studio was absolutely amazing, the staff so very welcoming and the professional instructor led a super relaxing/ de-stressing class. I have had several, sincere notes from the team – checking in – since taking part in my 1st class. I can’t wait to get back and take in more sessions at this fantastic studio!

Everyone is incredibly non-judgemental, and there to achieve the same goal

I’ve been to 3 different classes here now (my only 3 ever) and can’t say enough good things! Going in as a first time yoga practitioner was intimidating, and it turned out the class I chose was very demanding. However, the studio was/is extremely welcoming. Everyone is incredibly non-judgemental, and there to achieve the same goal. Props are provided and they will let you borrow a mat.
