One of their best qualities is how they can find the most cost-effective solutions without affecting the coverage. And they do this fast, as they don’t wait around to find the best insurance coverage.

Additionally, their service is customizable, since you can set the limits and deductibles in your policy. You could say that’s normal in car insurance companies, but the thing is, they find the most easily tailored solutions.

But here’s the hiccup: the service depends on the agent, since there were some gaps in customer support during the claims process, mostly during busy times.

Then again, the overall service has been super quick, as noted by most clients we spoke with. They mentioned that their agents found cheaper rates in just 24 hours—just note that office visits are by appointment only.

KBD Insurance has been around for over 40 years, providing tailored services for Ontario residents. Their car insurance is comprehensive, covering collisions, liability, and vandalism.

They find the most affordable and ideal coverage by shopping around various insurers, including leading companies in Canada. Impressively, they know how to do it right, as most clients liked the coverage they got.

Moreover, their excellent service is mostly due to their agents, who go the extra mile by delivering cost-effective results quickly. To top it off, they actually make the effort to understand their clients’ needs, as stated by most people our team talked to.

There’s a gap in the process, though, after they partnered with another insurance broker in Montreal. Instead of a seamless application process like before, they’ll forward Ontario residents to the other brokerage rather than assisting them directly.

It’s a little bumpy as they process this new partnership, so it’ll take a short while before the smooth flow returns again. But their customer support has been outstanding, since they take full accountability for mistakes.

For instance, they don’t just offer protection for modern cars, but also provide collector car insurance for antique automobiles, hot rods, and collector military vehicles. Impressively, you can purchase specialty coverage tailored for your collection.

There are the usual types of car insurance coverage, such as liability, accidents, and property damage. We were pleased, most of all, by the additional coverage options, including specified perils, like natural disasters.

Speaking with an agent about the options and claims processes is fairly easy, except for lengthy call holdups. Since they’re a growing company in Canada, we understand the queues, but also expect faster customer service, given their reach across the region.

Once you do reach an agent, everything will be A-OK. During our surveys, we learned that they can deliver by providing economical quotes that match the client’s needs and budget.
