Pros
- A certified life coach
- Featured in the media
- Has a hands-on approach
- Available on Sundays
Cons
- Discovery call requires a deposit
- Limited booking availability
An impressive factor about Lisa Jeffs, a certified life coach, is her over a decade of experience in the field. She focuses on intuitive life coaching and career coaching, and we love that she helps build connections.
She’s been featured in the media, which we believe speaks about her knowledge and expertise, as it shows her opinions are valuable. She was previously seen in YFS Magazine and HavingTime.
We were glad to learn that she’s also one to call for both personal and professional needs. It’s because she specializes in helping with stress management, building confidence, and achieving business goals.
Additionally, Jeffs’ approach is very hands-on, one of the things we like about her. Most of her clients appreciated her guidance and how she supported them each session, earning her points in our book.
Also, her availability is convenient for busy Torontonians. She accepts life coaching sessions six days a week, including Sundays.
Moreover, she offers discovery calls for clients who want to check her approach and see if she’s a suitable match for a life coach. But we were iffy about the required $200 deposit for the discovery call.
Nevertheless, the deposit is refundable after the session, which makes it ultimately free. However, bookings are pretty limited, unfortunately.

Pros
- Has a life coach certification
- Has coached people in high-level jobs
- Offers a wide variety of services
- Provides in-person and virtual coaching
Cons
- No sessions on weekends
Coach Dave Lee is one of our picks of the best life coaches in Toronto because he’s highly qualified in basically all aspects of life. He offers coaching services for life, health, relationship, and business.
He also impressed us with his qualifications, earning a life coach certification from the Robbins-Madanes Institute. That also entails he’s received high-quality training to guide different types of people.
In addition to that, his experience even spans helping various people in high-level jobs. He’s coached CEOs, executives, athletes, and musicians—we found it impressive how much they trust him.
That shouldn’t have been surprising, considering he’s capable of coaching people experiencing stress, anxiety, relationship problems, financial problems, and leadership issues. His wide variety of expertise is surely notable.
Plus, he’s available for in-person and virtual coaching, which is really helpful since he can still cater to busy clients. Even if his clients are away for work or vacation, Lee is just an online call away.
It’s even more helpful that Lee offers free 30-minute discovery calls. But the issue lies in his availability, as he doesn’t have weekend sessions.
But we like how clients get the best value for money because of Lee’s advanced skill set and impeccable communication skills. It has been frequently noted by his previous clients, too.

Pros
- A life coach for the gays
- A certified life and wellness coach
- Offers free 60-minute consultations
- Accepts group workshops
Cons
- No weekend sessions
Michael DiIorio founded Wellismo Coaching. But what we found admirable is he’s a certified life and wellness coach, which speaks about his skills and knowledge in the industry.
A remarkable factor about DiIorio is he’s a life coach for the gays, helping them feel more comfortable in their own skin and guiding them into reaching their goals in life.
We were also very impressed that he’s given a great service to gay people in Toronto, guiding them into becoming more empowered. But that doesn’t mean he only works with gays, as he accepts a wide range of clients who need guidance.
One of the most incredible factors is his free consultation calls, which will last 60 minutes. It’s the longest initial consultation we’ve seen for life coaches in Toronto, which deserves points in our book.
As for his services, we appreciate that besides one-on-one coaching, he’s also well-equipped to become an instructor for group workshops. For us, it shows his excellent rapport-building skills, as he can work with small and large groups.
Based on our surveys, DiIorio is incredible to work with due to his attentiveness, listening skills, and empathy. Those qualities deserve applause because they are helpful when coaching gay men who have experienced discrimination in life.
The only downside we found is his life coaching sessions don’t include weekends. It’s a minor issue since he tends to provide flexible schedules for busy clients.

Pros
- 20+ years of experience
- A top high performance coach
- A certified life coach
- Has a hands-on approach
Cons
- Unavailable on weekends
- Has expensive rates
With an impressive resume, Dr. Floyd Spence has caught our attention. He’s a certified life coach, has an executive coaching graduate certificate, and is a certified John Maxwell Leadership Trainer.
On top of that, he was also recognized as a Top High Performance Coach by the Coach Foundation. Clearly, he’s a highly qualified life coach in Toronto, no?
Another incredible factor is his over two decades of experience in the industry. Being a life coach for that long and earning the trust of many clients speaks about his great skills, in our opinion.
Plus, many high-level professionals have continued to trust his services. He works with several high-achieving professionals from various industries.
Dr. Spence offers 30-minute discovery calls, which, for us, is enough time to get to know him and to decide if the client wants to continue working with him. It also allows clients to gauge the possible working relationship, which is important.
In addition, we like Dr. Spence’s hands-on approach. He offers weekly or bi-weekly sessions, personalized coaching based on specific needs, and providing action-oriented tasks to clients.
Unfortunately, his office is closed on weekends. Also, his impressive skills and qualifications equal expensive fees, with his coaching package starting at a whopping $3,000.

Pros
- Available six days a week
- Offers various coaching packages
- Also a motivational speaker
Cons
- Discovery call is quite short
With over a decade of experience, Coach AJ has coached people from all walks of life, earning her a spot on our list. We appreciate that she’s not only a life coach but also a motivational speaker, inspiring and educating clients to reach their goals.
We also found it admirable how patient and understanding she is. Her clients complimented her for being attentive and easy to talk to, which we believe are important qualities in a life coach.
She specializes in helping people build their confidence and to shift their mindsets into something positive. We have to admit those are pretty hard to do, which is why we think she’s one of the best in the city.
Coach AJ provides free discovery calls. While that’s a good thing, we noticed it’s a little shorter than other life coaches in Toronto, only offering it for 20 minutes—it’s still free, though!
We also like that she offers different coaching packages, allowing clients to find the best one that suits their preferences and goals. Her elite package includes one-on-one sessions for six months and various helpful resources and materials.
She’s also available for life coaching sessions six times a week, including Saturdays. That’s quite convenient for busy Torontonians, no?
