That said, we found their website and online system to be quite useful. Young Star Driving School provides self-paced online learning, allowing students to log in 24/7 and log off at their convenience.

Now, here’s the scoop – we’re a bit iffy about the reports on slow responses from the school. Some folks who were keen to enroll spilled the beans, mentioning the school didn’t quite keep its promise to get back to them promptly after that first call.

On the bright side, we like that they have a mix of both male and female driving instructors on deck. For us, it’s a nice touch for those who lean towards a particular preference, making the comfort level go up a notch—and fostering a smoother learning experience!

From our surveys, enrolling in one of their MTO-approved beginner driver education courses for driving techniques is a good choice. With year-round accessibility, they offer flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, 4-day holidays, and weekday options in the summer.

But we do think it’s quite a bummer after hearing reports about instructors cancelling at the last minute. It ends up pushing back students’ lessons and messing with their schedules, especially for those juggling a busy work life.

Also, just a heads-up: some beginners mentioned that the in-car training can feel a bit like a speed race. So, we suggest you raise this concern to avoid wasting time and money.

On top of this, we’re highly impressed that they offer courses in a wide variety of languages, including Cantonese, English, French, Greek, Hindi, Mandarin, Punjabi and Urdu. Based on our research, this has been a massive help for immigrants aiming to snag a license.

Another thing we noted is that their instructors are highly patient and skilled. We’ve heard from many first-timers that they’ve been stoked about how calmly the instructors were able to guide them, offering helpful tips and must-knows.

But, we stumbled upon a little hiccup – there were some reports about booking issues. It seems a handful of students ended up unable to go through their driving lessons because there wasn’t an available instructor for their schedule.
