Frankly, experience is one of the factors we looked into because it means a higher level of expertise when transporting vehicles in Canada and even across the border!

Moreover, we were happy about its BBB accreditation. It even has an A+ rating, giving you confidence that MVS Canada handles customer complaints seriously.

Another aspect we like is that MVS Canada can transport multiple vehicles at once. It’s better for the environment because it reduces the carbon footprint than shipping cars individually.

Not only that, but it can transport vehicles anywhere in Canada! This is good news because you won’t have to worry about your cars if you need to move across the country.

What’s a driveway service, you ask? It’s incredibly convenient because the MVS Canada team will pick up and deliver your vehicle to your chosen location.

We’re also confident that MVS Canada can safely handle luxury cars. It has an enclosed transport service which will deliver your car in an enclosed truck!

Additionally, this service includes the steering wheel and seat covers and floor mats to ensure no scratches on your very expensive vehicle. Every aspect of this ensures your car is safe, including a lift gate to raise your car safely.

However, we’re a bit disappointed that it doesn’t have a physical office in Edmonton. Although, we think it’s worth mentioning that Edmonton is one of its most popular terminals.

An area for improvement we believe MVS Canada can benefit from is sending updates to its clients, especially when there are shipping delays.

It was inconvenient (and scary!) for clients not to know any details about their cars, especially if you need them immediately. Sadly, this was a complaint we frequently heard from the clients we talked with.

We included Go Dispatch in our list because they specialize in transporting vehicles for companies in Alberta. It’s notable that well-known car dealerships in the province have constantly hired them to ship the purchased vehicles to make room in their facilities.

Moreover, they transport a wide range of vehicles, from cars to SUVs and even trucks! That’s an impressive feat!

We noticed that Go Dispatch is a small company compared to other car shipping services in Edmonton we researched. That’s why we wondered how they could ship many types of vehicles across Canada.

After doing some research, we found that they hire third-party services to ship vehicles. Unfortunately, that information disappointed us a bit.

Why? Well, different subcontractors will drive the cars from one location to another. Sadly, this means you won’t know the quality of service of the third-party carrier you will get.

On the bright side, their service is a lot faster than other car shipping companies. Some clients agreed and even mentioned that Go Dispatch delivered their cars in days instead of weeks—a huge plus for reliability, right?

Not only that, but they also offer enclosed transport service for expensive vehicles! That’s another plus because it prevents debris from hitting your car while on the road.

By the way, you should know that Go Dispatch doesn’t have a physical location in Edmonton. So, that might be a hindrance for some people.

As for the clients we surveyed, they complimented the team’s responsiveness and constant updates. Plus, you will get to talk to an actual person instead of getting an automated call.

If you love luxury and vintage vehicles, then you want a service that specializes in handling these expensive autos. Good thing we found Tailored Carriers— they do just that!

They have a team of professionals with the right expertise in handling luxury cars. That’s definitely something we love because expensive cars need a little bit more care and attention.

Tailored Carriers is licensed and insured, giving you peace of mind in case anything happens to your precious baby *ahem* car. That’s important because damages to these cost a tonne of money!

Additionally, they’re approved by the US DOT (Department of Transportation). But what does this mean? It means they can ship your car across the border, as the US DOT certification is necessary for Tailored Carriers to drive on US highways.

You will also get peace of mind because they only use enclosed carriers. That keeps your car safe inside, away from possible scratches while on the road.

However, we noted that Tailored Carriers is a low-volume company. That means they don’t ship too many cars at the same time, limiting their availability.

Hence, you may need to book them ahead to ensure they can deliver your car within your desired time frame. 

Another downside for us is the lack of lift gates in their shipping carrier. In our opinion, this can be an extra layer of protection for lowered cars.

But overall, we loved their quality of service. Many past clients were also happy with the team’s professionalism and responsiveness because they provided constant communication and delivered the cars in good condition.

Next on our list is JayHaul Logistics Xpress. We think they stand out among the other car shipping companies in Edmonton because they can transport many vehicles at once.

It’s an advantage, we believe, because it allows them to take on many clients. We also think this is great for those who need immediate service as well.

Moreover, car dealerships can take advantage of this because it’s convenient for them. Car dealers won’t have to hire multiple auto carriers to ship out the purchased vehicles, making their job easier.

We also appreciate that JayHaul Logistics Xpress has a team of professionals that can ship any type of vehicle, whether it’s a small sedan or SUV. 

Plus, they ship vehicles across Canada. That’s incredible, considering the number of cars they usually have on their trucks.

It’s also worth highlighting that they offer door-to-door service. That’s convenient because you don’t even have to leave your home to pick up your car.

Did you know that JayHaul Logistics Xpress also offers vehicle storage? We think this is a neat service, considering not many car shipping services in Edmonton have this.

On the downside, we hope they can include enclosed carriers for luxury and vintage cars. It’s a much safer option, especially with the even more expensive kinds.

Also, their office is also located in Nisku—not in Edmonton, sadly. But it’s close to the city, though!

Lastly, we love that JayHaul Logistics Xpress is available every day. That’s a huge plus in our books since not all car shipping services are open on weekends in the city.

Livingston is a big and impressive company providing a bunch of services fit for businesses. Apart from vehicle transportation, it also offers customs brokerage, freight and transportation, trade technology, and many more!

But here, we will focus on its vehicle shipping service, which Livington has been doing for over 35 years. That’s a long time, so we’re pretty impressed!

It’s convenient that they do cross-border transportation to the US. Not all car shipping companies do that, so this earns Livingston bonus points!

Not only that, but the team is also well-versed in managing customs clearance. Frankly, that’s a headache waiting to happen, so we’re glad you’ll have assistance regarding the documentation.

We did mention that Livingston services businesses. But there’s good news for individuals because the team also accepts personal vehicle moves!

On the downside, we heard about issues regarding the lack of communication. Some clients didn’t receive enough updates, which resulted in being left in the dark regarding the arrival time of their cars.

Another issue is that some clients received their cars with some damages. The way we see it, those issues could’ve been prevented with better care, especially for a big company with many resources.

On the other hand, we really love that Livingston conveniently has door-to-door service! That’s beneficial for busy clients and those who live far away from transport locations.

We also appreciate the peace of mind they give to their customers because they don’t hire subcontractors. We love that because you can be sure that the service comes from the company you’re talking with.

Finally, we were glad to learn that they transport specialty vehicles. But it’s not just luxury cars, but also boats, campers, trailers, and even trucks!
