Keen on Green Disposal & Recycle is a one-stop destination for waste management any day of the week. We were happy with their services, which can help you clean out all sorts of rubbish.

For instance, their services cater to residential and commercial clients, offering junk and waste removal, estate cleanouts, appliance recycling, and hoarding cleanouts. And this waste doesn’t go straight to the landfill, but is sorted, recycled, and donated first.

We want to highlight their mini bin rentals, which are short in length and height, ensuring they can fit in driveways and won’t take up a lot of space on construction sites—awesome!

The overall service we’ve seen has been incredible, except for a few late (and sometimes very late) arrivals. Each waste management service in Vancouver always comes with a two-man team so they can haul off small and large items.

Budget-wise, they’re solid. A standard full bin starts at $450, which is one of the lowest we’ve seen in the area.

Pricing was better than the competition

We like JUST JUNK because they manage almost all kinds of waste, from home appliances to construction debris. We found their services extensive, because they also remove large waste, like hot tubs and pianos.

One of our favourite things? They can help you find a solution if there are items they aren’t allowed to dispose of. And this solution is environmentally friendly, and it’s awesome that they stick to sustainability even if they won’t get paid.

These guys arrive within a two-hour window, which we feel is more reliable than providing exact timelines.

However, some clients have complained about late arrivals and no-shows. It’s unfortunate, considering they’re not the cheapest service, starting at $749 for a full load.

Still, we love most of the service we’ve seen, given that their waste management team was efficient and effective during the whole removal process, even during weekends. Some clients we spoke with also noted they were respectful throughout.

When it comes to waste management in Vancouver, West End Recycling is one of our trusted services. Their commitment to a sustainable future completely impressed us, because they focus on reclamation and recycling.

Even as a small service, they offer a lot, including disposing of items from homes and appliances for apartment managers. While all that’s great, their services are still limited compared to competitors, since they don’t cater to large commercial properties.

Then again, it’s the overall service that’s important. From what we’ve observed, their team has been super helpful, always on time, and professional, even accommodating last-minute changes.

It’s worth mentioning that they accept even the smallest jobs. They’re open for locker cleanouts and pickups of aerosols and batteries, even when you don’t need a full truck.

It’s a bummer that they only cater to Vancouver’s West End. They’re a budget-friendly option, though, as house cleanouts start at $300, which is more affordable than other waste management services we’ve seen in the area.

An accessible waste management company is Dough’s Rubbish Removal, which operates in the Lower Mainland. They’ve been around for over three decades, providing residential and commercial waste removal.

The many services are another reason why they’re accessible in Vancouver, from small clearouts to the disposal of large waste. All of these won’t head straight to the landfill, since their team will sort, recycle, and donate first.

Additionally, we like that they offer bin rentals for renovations and construction. To top it off, these guys are available for regularly scheduled waste removal.

The only hiccup is that their regular hours don’t include weekends. Nonetheless, they can accommodate services outside of their usual hours, but only if they’re available.

When it comes to their rates, we found them reasonable compared to other waste management services in Vancouver.

But what about the overall service? Fantastic. We received no complaints since they always arrived on time and were reliable throughout the whole task.

“Saw Dough’s Rubbish bin few houses down from where we resided, then we called for renting a bin, reasonably priced and they allowed us to keep the bin for a week (longer stay time than most other companies’s). Green Coast Rubbish is a full-service company, offering junk removal, waste management, and wastewater disposal. All these services make them a one-stop destination for residential and commercial clients.

The awesome thing is, they don’t stop at waste management. Their team makes disposal easy-peasy by offering demolition and deconstruction services, big or small, ensuring any salvageable materials are repurposed and waste is properly removed.

We were pleased with what we saw during our surveys. Clients had no problem contacting the waste management team, who arrived on time and finished the tasks efficiently and effectively, without leaving a mess.

Another thing we were happy about was the express service, which was created to make it affordable for small jobs. It starts at $60 per cubic yard, which is way cheaper than competitors in the area.

A little hiccup is their unavailability on weekends. Still, they cater to the Lower Mainland, despite coming from North Vancouver.
