The 5 Best Tire Shops in Toronto That’ll Get You Rolling Without the Runaround

  • Quality of services – We looked for companies that have skilled technicians who are experienced in tire installation, balancing, and alignment, to make sure the job is done properly.
  • Product range and quality – We assessed companies that offer a wide selection of high-quality tires, such as brands that meet or exceed safety and performance standards.
  • Availability and scheduling – We evaluated companies that maintain good inventory, offer flexible scheduling, and can handle appointments promptly without long wait times.
  • Customer service – We considered companies with a strong reputation for customer care and responsive to questions or concerns throughout the buying and installation process.
  • Price – We listed services that offer transparent and competitive pricing, taking into account the cost of the tires, installation, balancing, and any additional fees.

I was out with my friends in a car one night when something felt…off. So we turned the music down, rolled down the window, and heard a scratching, metal-clanking disaster.

We pulled over, and yep—there it was. A completely wrecked wheel (basically gone), and the rim? Probably took over three traffic lights ago. Thankfully, we had a spare.

But let’s be real: how many times can a spare save the day? That’s why we’ve reviewed the best tire shops in Toronto, places where you can get your tires replaced, checked, repaired, aligned, balanced, measured, and even stored.

CEO Tires offers a solid tier catalogue with brands like Goodyear, Michelin, Bridgestone, Pirelli, Dunlop, Yokohama, Kumho, and more, so whether you’re after performance, budget-friendly options, or something built for Toronto winters, you’ve got plenty to choose from.

They cover everything you’d expect: TPMS calibration, flat repairs, low-profile installs, tire rotation, and wheel sales—it’s definitely a convenient one-stop shop.

Another highlight is their use of the Hunter Road Force Balancer. It stimulates real road conditions and weight for highly accurate balancing, helping cut down on vibrations and making the ride noticeably smoother compared to basic balancing.

We also like the fact that they offer free quotes and even have a group buy pricing model, which is great if you’re buying for multiple vehicles or planning repeat visits.

Just note that they’re closed on Sundays. So if you’ve got a packed weekday schedule, it’s best to plan ahead or squeeze in a Saturday appointment.

All in all, we appreciate how responsive and accommodating they are—even if you drop by without an appointment.

Pros

  • Has an impressive tire selection
  • One-stop shop for tires
  • Has real road simulation tech
  • Offers free quotes
  • Offers group buy pricing schemes
  • Highly responsive and accommodating

Cons

  • Closed on Sundays

Best in the business

“These guys are literally the BEST in the business. Customer service is untouched. Worried about tire places damaging your rims? CEO has you covered, they know what they are doing. Thank you again for taking care of my race tires.”

Rim & Tire Pro has been around since 2004, and over the years, they’ve built a reputation as a solid, go-to tire and wheel shop in the neighbourhood.

They offer new and used tires, rim repairs, powder coating, painting, custom wheels, and even patch jobs with a lifetime guarantee.

With over 11,000 sq. ft. of space and more than 2,000 used tires in stock (plus a huge selection of rims), there’s a good range of choices depending on your budget or performance needs.

Their tire storage is another plus. At $59.99 per season, you get a secure, climate-controlled setup, and in most cases, you’re in and out in under half an hour.

And if getting to the shop’s a hassle, they also do mobile tire services. That includes installation and TPMS work done right at your driveway or workplace.

On the flipside, we’ve seen a few complaints about slow response times—people being put on hold for a while or waiting too long for callbacks or follow-ups. Still, Rim & Tire Pro stands out for how comprehensive their services are.

Pros

  • Over 20 years of experience
  • Full tire services
  • Has a huge stock of used tires
  • Offers tire storage
  • Offers mobile tire services

Cons

  • Some concerns on responsiveness
  • Closed on Sundays

Quickest installs on tires

“Knowledgeable, helped me pick the perfect tires for my rims, quickest install on tires and rims I’ve ever had. Highly recommended”

Tire Butler is a great option if you don’t have time (or the ability) to drive into a shop. They’ll come to your home, your office, or even roadside if needed.

They sell both new and used tires, do seasonal swaps, fix flats, repair rims (even the more involved stuff like welding or CNC machining), and offer storage and accessories.

It’s also nice that their pricing is listed on their site, with seasonal packages starting around $170-$280. They even have a price-match policy to make sure you’re not overpaying.

We also love their tire storage setup, given that it’s climate-controlled and accessible when you need it.

Another thing we appreciate: their emergency service. If you’re stuck with a flat, they can often get someone out to you within the hour.

On the contrary, a few people did say they were left hanging after submitting an inquiry—no call back, no follow-up. Nonetheless, if you’re looking for convenience and can’t head to a physical shop, Tire Butler is a reliable option.

Pros

  • Provides mobile tire services
  • Wide selection of tires
  • Rates are readily available online
  • Climate-controlled and accessible tire storage

Cons

  • Closed on weekends
  • Can improve callbacks

Polite, friendly, and reasonable

“Tire Butler was amazing. Within 2 hours, I had new tires installed, in my driveway. They were polite, friendly and very reasonable. I would definitely use them again. Highly recommend!!”

Andrea Brown, Google Review

“Had a great experience with tire butler. Started with exceptional customer service and ended with amazing service. Would highly recommend. Having a mobile tire service is very convenient. 10/10”

Dufferin Motors & Tires has been part of Toronto’s auto scene for ages. They’ve been family-run since the ‘40s and have been focused on tires and wheels for decades. They stock all the big names, like Michelin, Goodyear, Bridgestone, Pirelli, Yokohama, Hankook, and a bunch more.

Service-wise, they handle computerized balancing, flat repairs, tire installs, TPMS help, and rotations. What stands out is how the staff actually explain what they’re doing, such as going over tire markings, pressure advice, and when to replace.

The turnaround time is solid, too. A balance job takes about 15 minutes per wheel if you’ve booked ahead, so you’re not stuck waiting around all day.

The only thing missing is mobile or roadside service. If you’re looking for someone to come to you, or need help outside regular hours, that’s not really part of their offering right now.

Regardless, for in-shop service, good advice, and decades of hands-on experience, Dufferin Motors & Tires is definitely worth checking out.

Pros

  • Has decades of experience in the industry
  • Stocks top-tier brands
  • Comprehensive lineup of services
  • Speedy balancing turnaround
  • Informative and knowledgeable

Cons

  • Closed on weekends
  • Doesn’t focus on roadside or mobile services

Fast, efficient, the staff are amazing

“WOW! What an amazing experience I had! This was my first time and won’t be my last. Fast, efficient and the staff are amazing. My tires were unsafe so the new ones were ordered Friday and installed Saturday! My only regret is I didn’t get to thank each of them. So Thank You if you are reading this.”

Sherry Levesque, Google Review

Very pleased with the service

“First time coming to Dufferin Motors & Tires and was very pleased with the service. I was coming in to replace old tires as recommended from my dealership. Andrew/Faisal were both helpful and prompt! Fast service, great local place and will come back for any future needs.”

OK Tire has over 325 locally owned shops across Canada, including plenty in Toronto. Even though it’s a big-name brand, each location still feels like a neighbourhood shop.

We love that they have a wide selection of tires—not just for your car or SUV, but also for trucks, trailers, ATVs, even golf carts and other specialty stuff. That said, they’re also decent for commercial needs, like farm equipment or bigger vehicles used in forestry or construction.

And while tires are their main thing, a lot of locations also offer full auto service, such as oil changes, brake jobs, alignments, diagnostics, and more.

We’re also impressed by their technicians, given that they’ll walk you through the basics, like how to read tire sidewall codes, what proper inflation looks like, and why alignment matters.

The downside? They don’t really do mobile or roadside service, so if you’re stuck somewhere, you’ll need another plan. But hey, if you’re after a wide tire selection and full-service care, OK Tire is a top contender.

Pros

  • Over 325 shops across Canada
  • Caters to different vehicles and equipment
  • Offers full auto services
  • Informative staff

Cons

  • Doesn’t focus on mobile services
  • Closed on weekends

Friendly, great service
