D’Agui Masonry Ottawa immediately wowed us with their portfolio. Firstly, we were impressed by their wide range of expertise, from simple brick and blocklaying to seamless parging and fireplace refacing.

Secondly, we loved how clean the finishes were, especially with their stonework. Whether it be their chimneys, floors, or walls, the craftsmanship was seamless and outstanding, so kudos to the masons.

We also reached out to their clients, who told us they were just as pleased with the experience of working with D’Agui’s masons as they were with the results. This was mainly because of the masons’ professionalism, as they always arrived on time and cleaned up afterwards.

Clients also appreciated how knowledgeable these masons were, often providing recommendations on what would look best on the property.

It’s never a hassle to book a schedule with D’Agui either, as their phone lines are extremely responsive. However, we would’ve liked it if they offered an online booking option.

Extremely happy with the masonry work

“I’ve contracted D’Agui Masonry on two separate occasions. 

Last year, we had them repoint a huge step crack that had formed many years ago on an exterior wall, replace damaged/weathered bricks on our 60+ year old home, install a galvanised drip guard on the top of the fireplaces and install concrete sills under our windows. 

The work really refreshed the look of our house. Recently (July 2025), D’Agui parged two foundation walls where the parging had failed, and they re-caped our two chimneys. 

On both occasions, they gave a thorough quotation for the work, quoted a fair price, and I was extremely happy with the masonry work they completed. To be honest, it surpassed my expectations. 

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone who asked. The team worked quickly, completed the work on time; they were friendly and very respectful to me and to my neighbours; and they cleaned up the work site thoroughly when the work was completed.

We wanted to include Stonehenge Masonry because of their free quotations. Our interviewees highlighted that these quotations would be close to the final cost of the service, and that the customer service representative giving the estimates was approachable.

Our expectations for this company were high as well, given its 20+ years of experience. However, those expectations were well exceeded when we saw their portfolio of stoneworks and brickworks.

We were particularly impressed with their stair work, which features numerous designs, from minimalist to abstract. Clients who availed of these services said the design was entirely the masons’ own, based on quick consultations.

Our interviewees also appreciated the masons’ constant updates throughout the project, including challenges that they felt like they needed to share with their clients.

We only wish that they could carry over their operating hours to the weekends. Fortunately, it’s never tough to book a schedule, thanks to their responsive customer service phone lines.
