We also discovered that they have a 1-year warranty for their products and labour. It means that clients would be able to get their systems serviced for free in cases of malfunctions.

Clients compliment their expertise and their consistent responsiveness. One customer, who has been with them for more than 12 years, mentioned that they always answer their questions and requests for maintenance.

The only item we have in our wishlist is a pricelist of every product and service on their websites like their competitors. Although clients can acquire that information by phoning or mailing the company, such a feature would make it more convenient.

Secure Video Surveillance Inc. has been providing home security system services for more than 10 years. Impressively, BBB accredited their business the same year they were established.

Because they are partnered with 12 different brands, they offer various options for security cams the home. Both local and foreign brands, such as Resideo, Panasonic, and Dahua, are available.

What we love about this home security system company is their competitively-priced monthly subscription fee for the alarm system. Their standard package (no mobile access) costs $33.00, while their premium costs $39.00 per month –  both within the average in Alberta ($25-$50). 

The only catch is they only have one brand available for their alarm systems. Although we have no doubts about the quality, we think that one option is limiting for customers who prefer a wider spread.

Aside from that, they offer two types of home security systems: wireless and hardwired. Although the former is more popular, the latter is recommended for unfinished houses or vacant rooms or attics.

We discovered that those home security system packages are still more affordable than Alberta’s average monthly subscription cost ($25-50). Their hardwired packages range from $18.99 to $29.99, while wireless goes anywhere from $21.99 to $33.99.

We are also glad that they have an online estimator for clients who want to customise the home security services they want to get.

Busy people the entire workweek will appreciate that Securepol operates 24/7, which is a testament to their wide availability.

Clients like the company’s responsiveness and punctuality. One such customer recalled that the technician came with estimates and recommendations just 30 minutes after the call.

On the other hand, a few clients told us that the technician who installed the system caused some damages on their home. We hope the company compensated them for this kind of incident.

But, unlike other home security systems providers, clients have to call or email the company to know what brands they offer. We wish they would make this readily available so that it would be easier for clients to make a decision.

Clients looking for an affordable home security system with many features would love Infinity Security Solutions. Their basic subscription package costs $29.99 monthly, which is cheaper than other providers in the market.

All of their service packages include the smart home security system. With it, clients can remotely control and monitor their space using their phones or computers.

The company is partnered 13 different security product brands, which means more options for clients.

Infinity Security Solutions has been selling security system services for homes and businesses for more than ten years. They got registration in BBB in the year 2016.

Previous customers of Infinity Security Solutions recommend how quick and friendly the company is. A couple who asked for their service was surprised that the installers were not pushy with deals and finished installing within a few hours.

But apparently, some clients never received a response to their queries or requests for technical assistance. We hope that they can improve on this aspect as service quality plays a lot into client retention.

Also, unlike other companies, they do not have an online estimator for their products where clients can personalise their home security system.

In addition, as much as we like their smart security systems, we found their services do not include a 24/7 monitoring operator. Although their system notifies the client, we think a monitoring team that can contact the authorities in case of unlikely incidents occur is way better.
