TDR Electric is a one-stop shop for all your electrical needs, which is one of the things we like. We were quite surprised because they can pretty much do anything you need in your home, given their wide array of services.

So, they work on residential and commercial properties. They offer installation for solar panels, home generators, and surge protection, as well as electrical maintenance and restoration.

We want to highlight that they also offer emergency electrical repairs. Not all do, which is why they get bonus points!

And yes, these guys are qualified, having completed over 4000 projects. During our research, we learned they’ve been in the business for a decade, serving West Vancouver, North Vancouver, and Vancouver Proper.

They’re quite pricey, though. On the plus side, they offer financing plans for selected services to help with budgeting.

From what we’ve seen, their electricians have been super helpful, even going above and beyond to make things hassle-free!

One of our staff picks is Wicks Electric because they’re very accessible. They service the whole Lower Mainland, which is a really big coverage!

Even as a small business, they can handle small and large-scale projects. It was pretty obvious during our surveys since they’ve worked for both residential and commercial clients.

These guys also offer a wide range of services. This includes service and maintenance for construction and renovations, as well as green energy offerings to save power.

We want to highlight their off-grid electrical services, which give you electricity even if you don’t live in the city! What’s cool is they have a company boat, which gives them easy access to vessels in the water.

During our surveys, we did hear reports of miscommunications. While that’s unfortunate, these issues don’t seem to happen often.

They don’t have emergency services (another bummer), but it’s awesome that they try to accommodate clients as soon as they can.

OneStop Electrical Services is a small business, but they do have skilled electricians, which is the most important part! Based on what we’ve seen, these guys are efficient at their jobs.

It’s easy to see why many clients we spoke with were happy with the quality of service. The electricians they hired were skilled in small and big jobs, given that they work on residential and commercial properties.

Plus, they offer EV charger installation, which is awesome since this can lower energy costs. Also, you don’t have to look for a charging station in Vancouver!

They’re very accessible as well. Aside from serving Vancouver and its surrounding areas, they’re also available 24/7 for emergencies!

However, they’re not as affordable as we initially thought. Their service call is quite up there compared to other electricians in the area.

On the bright side, most of their clients loved how quick their service was. The electricians arrived and finished the job on time!

Most of our staff really like TCA Electric because of their high quality of service, and we can understand why. These guys have won awards, which shows how well they perform tasks.

They’ve been around for 15 years, serving North and West Vancouver. On top of that, their electricians can do small and large-scale projects, even for complex electrical needs.

It’s because of their offerings. They offer installation, repairs, and maintenance for residential, commercial, and industrial clients—they also offer marine electrical services!

For these guys, client convenience is important. Having emergency services is a nice addition, even though it’s not 24/7.

Nonetheless, they do try to accommodate clients on the same day or first thing in the morning. Based on our surveys, they’ve managed to squeeze in some urgent requests.

Price-wise, they’re not the most affordable—but they’re not overly expensive either! To be honest, it’s understandable because the responsiveness and turnaround times have been quick.

It’s not hard to get why we like Skylight Electric. They cover the Lower Mainland and are available for residential, commercial, and industrial projects—basically, they’re very accessible!

To boot, they’re always available. Yes, you can call them for emergencies night and day, which is really awesome for urgent electrical needs.

The emergency fee is a tad higher than we’re used to, but it’s understandable, considering they cover a wide area 24/7. It’s not a big deal for us since their regular rates are reasonable, which ultimately evens out the prices.

They’re available for maintenance, installation, inspection, and repairs. So they can do everything under the sun!

And when we checked their responsiveness, we were impressed! From what we’ve seen, they’ve managed to arrive very quickly for emergencies and have been on time for regular jobs.

One of the highlights, which most clients have noted, is their top-notch service quality. The electricians even cleaned up after to remove the mess!

“Cass answered the call on an evening shift when I blew the breaker while swapping out an old receptacle in the kitchen. He was prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable. A very small job for Cass but he handled it like any other major incident. It was nice he politely pointed out the error I caused and gave me a couple of good pointers to. We talked shop briefly and I pointed out a couple of other jobs I needed done on a future visit. Cass was a great professional of the trade and very respectful while in my home.
