Notably, one of the convenient aspects about them is their wide range of services. They offer full-cycle bookkeeping, meaning they will handle all accounting needs!

As for their services, we find them quite extensive! They offer bookkeeping, tax filing, payroll, business registration, and benefits applications.

Additionally, we appreciate their online services. But it’s currently limited, which we think is a downside.

Another drawback is they don’t offer mobile services. You need to visit their office, which is closed on weekends—bad news for busy bees.

Since they don’t have mobile services, their tax services require dropping off documents at their office before booking an appointment. That’s quite inconvenient if you ask us.

Looking on the bright side, they offer off-site bookkeeping. While that’s good news, their other services are not available for off-site appointments.

All in all, we like Rawluk & Robert Chartered Professional Accountants. But their availability is a bit limited since there are no off-site and weekend services for convenience.

Currie Accounting Services has been helping Winnpegers with complex taxing for over 25 years—but that’s not all that we like! One thing we noticed that earned them a spot on our list is their complete services, so you’ll get everything under one roof.

Besides bookkeeping, they also work on tax planning and returns, payroll, financial plan preparation, audit assistance, and appeals! They basically have everything you need to navigate Canada’s tax system.

They’re also knowledgeable in bookkeeping for individuals and businesses. For us, that expertise is essential since it gives them a comprehensive understanding of different industries.

We also noted that the Currie Accounting Services bookkeepers are dependable due to the technology they use. Some that they use are QuickBooks Desktop and Online, Sage Accounting, and Wave Accounting.

Why are we highlighting these? It means they’re well-versed with various software, making the process more efficient.

Additionally, their team is also updated with the latest accounting technology. It provides better reporting, and we highly appreciate the upskilling!

Although we like Currie Accounting Services overall, they do have a limitation—their weekday-only schedule.

Unfortunately, this could be a deterrent for busy clients. They don’t have off-site services as well, which is another drawback for us.

Notably, one of their online services is tax filing. While that’s convenient since there’s no need to drive to their office, we still think it’s incomplete.

Why is that? We hope they can expand to mobile or off-site services in the future. It would greatly help busy clients, in our opinion.

On the bright side, they’re open for appointments every single day! It’s pretty unique since most bookkeepers don’t take weekend consultations unless it’s the tax season.

Another minor concern is their small team. While this typically isn’t a drawback for bookkeepers, we noticed they struggle to respond quickly during busy tax seasons.

Nonetheless, we appreciate that the staff at Fortress Accounting & Tax generally have good communication skills, addressing client concerns effectively!
