A standout for us is that IAE hits the mark by offering an ITEC-certified diploma, setting the bar at international cosmetology standards. This qualification opens doors to top-tier careers worldwide for students after they graduate and receive the diploma.

However, we do think it’s a bit of a bummer they cap each class at three to six people because it means eager students might need to bide their time for an open slot. Just a heads-up for those ready to dive in ASAP.

We also noticed that their laser training follows a fixed schedule once a week, which might be a bit tricky for those with other commitments during those times. It’s something to keep in mind for anyone eyeing laser training flexibility.

Nonetheless, we can’t deny that the IAE has multiple students who shared their satisfaction and success post-graduation. And props to them for offering student aid and teaming up with government scholarships to cut the beauty school bill for qualified students.

We like that students at MC College dive into real-world action by working with actual clients in the campus salon and spa as part of their hands-on training. It’s not just about technical skills; this exposure tosses them into real situations, fine-tuning customer service and more.

Here’s a nifty find – they make life easy by providing online access to all lesson materials. This means students can dive into instructional media anytime; plus, there’s an opportunity to collaborate and chat with fellow students and instructors on the virtual platform. 

On top of that, MC College’s online platform lets students tailor on-campus classes to their lifestyle, ensuring a convenient path to a diploma. We also love that they offer part-time certificate courses, including a virtual option for learning from home.

But, we’re a bit iffy after some student sentiments at hints that some instructors might not be as approachable or keen on providing personalized interactions, which could affect the overall learning experience. It’s worth considering if you value that one-on-one connection. 

Also, we noted that their prices are higher than other schools. For instance, their esthetics program can set you back over $15,000.

Still, we believe that MC College is a solid choice for your beauty school, especially with its facilities and the chance to work with real clients.

One thing we like about Alberta Academy Of Aesthetics is that they roll with services performed under professional supervision, tailoring the experience to address each student’s needs. Plus, students can earn income while diving into hands-on training with real clients.

We also like that their facility sets the stage for a fantastic student environment, which also pulls in clients seeking services. Students get to practice on real clients, and from what we’ve heard, they’re doing pretty well, with instructors keeping a watchful eye on the whole show.

Now, onto a little snag – at Alberta Academy Of Aesthetics, we noted that they don’t roll out programs with international accreditation like ITEC. So, if you’re eyeing that certification, this might not be the beauty school for you.

And just so you know, they keep their tuition and school fees a bit of a mystery online. If you’re curious, you’ll have to drop them a message on their website or give them a ring to get the lowdown.

Despite that, we can’t deny that Alberta Academy Of Aesthetics scores points for their comprehensive programs. We think their full aesthetics deal is a jackpot – think facials, makeup, and even diving into the art of laser hair removal. 

Next up is the European Institute of Esthetics – they’re rocking a diverse lineup, from facials to laser resurfacing. With over 70 certificate courses and 8 Diploma Programs, it’s a beauty haven for anyone looking to explore the beauty world.

On that note, we like that they offer a CIDESCO Post Grad Diploma, essentially giving graduates worldwide recognition in the beauty and esthetic realms. It’s like unlocking a master’s degree or a top-tier certification in advanced beauty therapy techniques. 

Another standout feature we found is their hands-on training approach. Based on our surveys, most of their in-depth courses provide students with valuable confidence-building experiences as they work on models in class under the guidance of instructors.

However, we’re a bit bummed to report that students have to bring in their models for training. Adding to the blues, if those models get some pampering during class, the student or the model has to foot the bill, doubling up on costs if students have to dig into their own pockets.

All in all, we’re pretty impressed – the European Institute of Esthetics has a whole bunch of other courses up its sleeve. So, if one program doesn’t quite hit the sweet spot, you can easily hop over and pick another to level up your game as a beauty specialist.
