Pros

  • Welcomes 4 guests
  • Has many amenities
  • Highly communicative and accommodating hosts
  • Short walk to downtown Jasper

Cons

  • No pets allowed

The Bear’s Den is a winner in our books with two sets of bedrooms, beds, and baths, a rare find that accommodates not just two but up to four guests. Finding a Jasper Airbnb that caters to more than a duo can be a challenge, so consider yourself lucky with this cozy den!

We also like that it’s packed with more amenities than you’d probably need (but hey, who’s complaining?). It’s got you covered with a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living room, your laundry haven, an electric fireplace, not to mention three high-def TVs, and even Netflix.

It’s also worth mentioning that this two-bedroom haven with its private entrance on the lower level of the house is just a short stroll away from downtown and local trailheads. Plus, we think it’s a convenient gateway to explore all the nearby gems on foot.

Another aspect of this Airbnb we love is that the hosts are highly accommodating and responsive. We noticed that they stay in touch to ensure their guests’ needs are met throughout their stay.

Now, here’s a heads-up for the fur-parents out there: pets are a no-go at the Bear’s Den. But, looking on the bright side, if you’re rolling with a group of friends, we think it’s still a solid choice for an affordable and comfortable stay.

Pros

  • Walkable to downtown and easy access to the park
  • Friendly and accommodating host
  • Fast response time
  • Clean and well-equipped place

Cons

  • Air conditioning and hot water isn’t inclusive of booking

If you’re on the lookout for a spot that’s a skip away from downtown, with the added perk of being near the park, The Nest Guest Suite has your name on it. Picture this: the whole Airbnb to yourself, and to top it off, your hosts are just a holler away in the spacious ground-floor suite.

And speaking, we’re pleased by how accommodating the host is, such as taking the initiative to up their guest’s experience. For instance, one family we surveyed mentioned that the host saw that they had a toddler, and to their surprise, she came back with a box of toys for their kid.

Another thing we think is great is that the rental has a kitchen, a living room with a Smart TV, laundry, and a separate bedroom with a queen-sized bed (even the coat hooks matter). It’s thoughtful touches like these that make an Airbnb feel like a home away from home.

While The Nest Guest Suite brings charm and comfort, it’s worth noting that air conditioning and hot water don’t join the party by default. However, a chat with the host might help you sort or figure things out.

Lastly, we’re glad that The Nest Guest Suite is all for extended stays as shared by multiple guests who stayed for two to four weeks straight. It’s the perfect opportunity to soak in all that downtown Jasper charm while making the most of your cozy nest.

Pros

  • Located in a quiet neighbourhood
  • Speedy response time
  • Has board games/books
  • Hospitable and friendly host

Cons

  • No kitchen, washer, dryer, and air conditioning
  • No pets allowed

Next on our list is Bird’s Hollow Private Guest Suite: Basement. It’s a cozy studio space for a romantic getaway or adventurous weekend in Jasper, where you can unwind by the fireplace in your king-size bed after a day of exploring.

We love that it not only boasts a comfortable king-sized bed but also throws in a fireplace for those chilly winter nights. Spread across a generous 450 sq ft, this suite is relatively spacious for a Jasper Airbnb, ensuring you have room to unwind in style.

Although the space doesn’t flaunt a full kitchen or laundry facilities, it does compensate with a charming kitchenette equipped with the essentials – sink, fridge, microwave, kettle, and coffee press. It might not be a culinary haven, but it’s got the basics covered for a pleasant stay.

Also, don’t forget to make arrangements for your furry friends before heading to Jasper because the suite isn’t open to pets.

On the bright side, it does have a collection of board games and books in the suite. So, if you’re up for a cozy night in, you’ve got some entertainment options to keep you company.

Finally, we highly encourage you to raise any concerns or requests to the host since they’re hospitable and quick to respond.

Pros

  • Pets are allowed
  • A short walk to Jasper’s main strip
  • Highly clean and comfortable space

Cons

  • No washer, dryer, air conditioning
  • You can slightly hear and feel the train across the street

From what we’ve seen, The Pyramid Suite is a safe bet for couples, equipped with all the essentials and hosted by some wonderful folks.

The place includes a queen bed, a kitchenette, an electric fireplace, and your private entrance, and to top it off, they even set up a barbecue for you upon request—they got the essentials down.

And some good news to our loving pet owners: the suite isn’t just a haven for couples but also welcomes furry friends. For us, this helps you be more at ease, especially if you’re used to bringing your pets on trips.

From our research, cleanliness and comfort take the spotlight at the Pyramid Suite. Despite being in the basement without panoramic views, guests we surveyed rave about the impeccable tidiness and tasteful decor—making it a cozy retreat worth considering.

On the downside, we noted that they’re missing a washer and dryer that might cramp your style for those speedy wardrobe changes.

It has also come to our attention that you can hear and possibly feel the train since it’s across the street. But several guests shared that it’s not much of an issue if you’re there (though light sleepers might be rattled).

Nonetheless, we like that A & A Accommodations, Pyramid Suite offers a cozy haven just a short 10 to 15-minutes stroll from town. Convenience at its finest – no need to venture far for a bite, groceries, or that essential cup of coffee.

5. Jasper East Mountain Home

Pros

  • Has outside surveillance cameras
  • Can accommodate a maximum of 7 guests
  • Features views of the Rocky Mountains

Cons

  • Only has 1.5 baths

In our books, Jasper East Mountain Home takes the cake for group-friendly stays, comfortably hosting up to seven guests. It’s ideal for family vacations or get-togethers, especially since you’ll have the entire place to yourselves, making it a perfect spot to create those lasting memories.

Based on our research, many guests have found it convenient that the Airbnb is only 4 km to the Jasper National Park gate, 20 km to the Miette Hot Springs, and a short half-hour drive to downtown Jasper. For us, it’s perfectly positioned to explore the best of the area.

What we like most about this Airbnb are the views it offers of the Rocky Mountains. Whether it’s the sunrise painting the peaks or the serene twilight casting shadows, you’ll have the perfect backdrop for your memorable moments, and let’s not forget those Instagram-worthy stories!

However, we’re a bit iffy that the place only comes with one and a half baths. For larger groups, a bit of scheduling finesse might be to ensure everyone gets their turn in the shower without causing a bathroom traffic jam.

Still, we’ve got to commend Jasper East Mountain Home for its commitment to cleanliness and security. They go the extra mile with surveillance cameras outside, ensuring comfort and peace of mind during your stay.
