Pros

  • Exceptional market knowledge
  • Streamlined efficiency
  • Transparent pricing
  • Expert guidance

Cons

  • No discounts at the present

Logan Patterson is a beacon of professionalism in the tumultuous sea of real estate.

Our experience with them was nothing short of a revelation. Their services are a symphony of efficiency and quality.

From the moment we stepped into their office, we knew we were in capable hands.

The level of organization and precision in their operations was like watching a meticulously choreographed dance. Every detail, from property listings to paperwork, was executed flawlessly.

The quality of service provided by Logan Patterson is akin to discovering a hidden gem in a field of mediocrity.

Our real estate agent possessed an encyclopedic knowledge of the market, guiding us with unwavering expertise. It was refreshing to work with someone who truly understood our needs.

Efficiency is the beating heart of Logan Patterson’s operations. They don’t believe in wasting time—theirs or ours.

Our property search was streamlined to perfection, and they ensured that each viewing was a meaningful step towards our dream home. Time, it seems, is money, and they value both.

Now, let’s talk about cost. In an industry where hidden fees and unexpected expenses lurk around every corner, Logan Patterson stands as a paragon of transparency.

We appreciated their straightforward approach to pricing, which made budgeting a breeze. It’s a rare delight to find a firm that treats your finances as seriously as you do.

Sadly, they don’t offer promos yet. We suggest checking their website for other affordable deals.

Pros

  • Seamless and stress-free process for mortgages
  • Excellent customer relations
  • Knowledgeable and helpful mortgage broker

Stephanie Pasutto is Sherwood Park’s trusted mortgage broker, and this is why she’s at the top of our list of best real estate in the area.

If you’re in need of a mortgage broker who can offer you a seamless and stress-free process to purchasing real estate, we think she’s an excellent option.

We think she would be a great help when looking for the right mortgage product and rate because she has a background in finance and client-focused business.

We like how she focuses on consultation and education in order to deliver a great mortgage experience.

Pros

  • Provides personalized services
  • Serves Edmonton and nearby areas
  • Has a responsive and personable team
  • Has many listing choices

Cons

  • Closes early
  • Listings are not constantly updated

One of the things we like about The Foundry Real Estate is that it provides personalized services to each client. It’s also a boutique brokerage firm, allowing it to offer custom services.

For us, it’s notable that The Foundry was established by a broker and a realtor, who both have years of industry experience. This level of expertise is an important factor we looked into to ensure they have knowledge of the local market.

We were also glad to learn that the team makes sure to understand their client’s lifestyles. For us, this is beneficial because they will listen to your needs and show you the right homes.

Moreover, we like that they have realtors who have lived and worked in Edmonton for many years. As a result, they are familiar with the city’s market to give you the best property deals.

On top of that, the team of realtors makes sure to be responsive and personable. This was proven through various compliments they received during our research.

We think it’s also worth mentioning that aside from Edmonton, they also service potential homeowners in the surrounding areas, including Sherwood Park and St. Albert.

Additionally, we appreciate that they have many sections for listings in all areas they serve. There are a bunch of choices as well.

But before making an offer on the house, make sure to confirm if the listing is still up for sale. We were disappointed to find out that some sold homes weren’t removed from their listings.

Because of this, some clients made offers and were disappointed at the wasted time and money. Frankly, we believe this can be avoided easily with a simple update for every sold home.

Also, their office is unavailable on weekends. They also close a tad earlier, at 3:00 pm, which, we think, limits their availability.

Pros

  • Focuses on commercial real estate
  • Has been widely recognized in the industry
  • Provides customized services
  • Has a highly professional team

Cons

  • Closed on weekends
  • Not for residential real estate

One advantage of NAI Commercial is that it is part of NAI Global, which has over 300 offices worldwide. It’s a brokerage firm specializing in commercial properties.

Impressively, it has earned recognition in the industry. In 2021, it won the CoStar Power Broker Top Firm – pretty nice, right?

We’re happy that the brokers at NAI Commercial customize their services based on their clients. That’s commendable, considering that not every business person will want the same thing.

Moreover, we like how the firm’s brokers and realtors can work with different sizes of properties. Considering they focus on commercial real estate, we think this is an important factor.

However, you need to look for a different real estate brokerage if you’re looking for a residential property you will live in. But if you want an investment, we’re confident NAI Commercial can help you with your marketing strategy.

It’s worth noting that the team has expertise in helping local businesses expand. We think this is due to their knowledge of Edmonton’s commercial real estate, which is highly important.

Furthermore, their past clients have praised the team for their skills. They were able to navigate the competitive commercial real estate market to find the best arrangements, showing their professionalism.

Sadly, NAI Commercial is closed on weekends. We were slightly hoping the office would be open daily for better availability, especially with their good reputation in the area.

Pros

  • Open daily
  • Works with residential and commercial properties
  • Member of LeadingRE
  • Has a responsive team

Cons

  • Incomplete online listings
  • Lack of available commercial listings

Schmidt Realty Group is a real estate brokerage firm in Edmonton that has a well-designed system that ensures the team is prepared every time a client calls.

Honestly, we find this commendable because it ensures every potential homeowner gets a responsive service.

It’s even more impressive that they are available every day of the week. They even close later than other real estate brokerage firms in Edmonton, at 8:00 pm.

Moreover, we appreciate that the office always has a staff member who can reach any agent or broker in case they’re not there. For us, that shows reliability because you won’t be left in the dark.

We’re also impressed that Schmidt Realty Group is a member of the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World (LeadingRE). It’s an invitation-only membership, and it only invites brokerages that have shown high performance.

Another aspect we like is it caters to clients looking for a residential or commercial property. Some real estate brokerages in the city don’t focus on both, so this earns them bonus points!

However, we found that their listings are pretty limited on the website. We hope they can update this and add more to give better browsing opportunities.

It would also be nice to include more commercial properties. We found it a bit of a letdown that there aren’t a lot of choices to look at.

Pros

  • Works with different budget ranges
  • Has many properties available online
  • Open everyday
  • Has vast expertise in the Edmonton market

Cons

  • No commercial properties available
  • Minor complaints about some realtors

Next on our list is Local Real Estate, an independent real estate brokerage firm in Edmonton. Despite being an independent and small company, it has a team bigger than we expected.

Local Real Estate is headed by owner and broker Christy Van Dyke. We think it’s notable that she’s been in the industry for over twelve years, specifically in the Edmonton real estate market.

Moreover, we like her and her team’s expertise in the local market. It’s important because it means you can get the best service due to their knowledge and experience!

Additionally, the team works with clients with different budget ranges. We find it commendable that they don’t care whether they get a big commission or not, allowing anyone to hire their services.

In fact, if you check out their listings, you will find affordable homes to ones that cost millions. Not only that, but you can request a custom search so the team can give you the best options.

We also like their availability because they’re open every day. That’s pretty nice since not all real estate brokerages in Edmonton are available daily.

But if you’re looking for a commercial property, you may need to look elsewhere. Local Real Estate doesn’t really specialize in those.

On a good note, we were surprised at how extensive their listings are! There’s a tonne of properties available, so they can accommodate clients with various preferences!

Although Van Dyke has been praised constantly during our research and surveys, we heard some disappointing news about some realtors at the firm. We highly suggest getting to know the broker and realtor before committing to a contract.

Pros

  • Has many brokerage agents
  • Agents can speak in other languages
  • Has many property listings
  • Takes on residential, rural, and commercial properties

Cons

  • Closed on weekends
  • Some complaints about customer service

For us, the main advantage of MaxWell Polaris is its extensive list of agents. We were actually pleasantly surprised by this because it allows them to cater to many clients.

Furthermore, we love the real estate brokerage firm’s inclusivity. You can hire an agent that speaks other languages besides English.

We found this aspect incredible because not many real estate firms in Edmonton have bilingual or multilingual agents. You can even choose your agent based on your preferred language by filtering it out on the website—there’s even American Sign Language!

In addition, they work with clients who need residential and commercial properties. We definitely think it’s pretty neat that they even have agents with rural area listings.

Also, we found it convenient that MaxWell Polaris has property listings from $200,000 to over $1 million. The vast choices are helpful because it allows any Edmontonian to purchase a home within their budget.

We also appreciate the brokerage agents for their knowledge of the Edmonton housing market. This is possibly the main factor for most clients who are looking for a real estate agent.

Moreover, their expertise can help immigrants and newcomers in the city to find the right home based on their lifestyle. It’s a huge plus for us that the agents focus on giving their clients assistance throughout their home-buying (or selling) journey.

That’s why it was disappointing to hear about complaints regarding some agents from MaxWell Polaris. We heard issues about unsatisfactory customer service, which resulted in some looking for a different brokerage firm in Edmonton.

Lastly, we must mention that they’re closed on weekends. This means that getting an appointment at their office will take some workweek time from you.

Mark Wilbert is another one in our list. Mark is a Licensed Realtor with CIR Realty, and he’s had over a decade of experience in both Residential and Commercial transactions.

Besides commercial and residential transactions, he also handles investment transactions.

What we like about his services is that he listens to the needs of the client and understands their goals in order to efficiently deliver the best possible results.
