It’s also good that they are open every day. Also, we heard they are willing to take same-day requests and provide the necessary care immediately.

However, we found that they only have a one-visit per day system with a fee of $30 for up to 30 minutes of care services. 

And as a heads up: we learned that they have a minimum initial consultation fee of $40, regardless of whether you proceed with their services or not.

We like that they are open 24 hours a day, which means they have a flexible schedule. Plus, they offer live-in pet sitting services, meaning clients can book overnight services with Assured Home and Pet Care Inc.

Another thing we appreciate is their 30-minute complimentary meet and greet. Here, you can gauge how well the designated pet sitter and your pet can get along while you are away and check out their experience handling pets.

But, keep in mind that they require at least a 25% deposit to avail of their services. To add, they also have a 25% cancellation fee.

On the bright side, you can check their rates online and compute if they fit your budget. We think this is helpful, especially for those who want a quick quote.

We are also impressed with their large team, having a crew of around 60 pet sitters. We believe this allows them to deploy sitters simultaneously and have multiple visits in the same time slot.

Finally, we love that their pet sitters are certified in Pet First Aid through the Walks n’ Wags training program, giving clients peace of mind in case of pet emergencies.

However, we are a bit iffy that this company runs as a one-woman team operation, which limits the reach of their services. So we encourage clients to book at least seven days in advance to find and secure a suitable schedule.

Moreover, it’s a letdown that they don’t offer live-in or overnight pet sitting services, which we think is crucial for high-maintenance pets.

On a positive note, we like that they provide a free one-hour initial meet and greet to discuss and get to know your pet.

Lastly, it’s good to note that they provide one-hour drop-in pet sitting visits compared to the 30-minute visits of other professional pet sitters.

In addition, we heard that the pet sitter does a great job at communicating pet updates, which gives the peace of mind their clients need.

However, they are closed on weekends. This means they do not accept regular day visits or dog walking unless you have special bookings that come with additional rates.

We also noted several complaints about missed visits without any prior notice or proper explanation. 

For instance, some clients came home to a dirty litter box and only realized that their pets weren’t cared for when they came home. We also think they need to improve their responsiveness, especially at times like this. 

As for their prices, you can check their rates on their website, but we noticed that they are slightly pricier than their competitors.
