His qualifications impressed us, from wisdom tooth extraction to facial trauma surgeries. But it’s his professionalism that convinced us even more. During our surveys, we were pleased to hear that his patients felt at ease before, during, and after their procedures.

Additionally, most of them reported low to no bleeding, minimal swelling, and a quick healing process. It speaks volumes about Dr. Kang’s experience, as he managed these with careful planning and helpful follow-up support.

Dr. Kang operates in two clinics: Vancouver and Langley. While that makes him accessible in Metro Vancouver, his waitlist is pretty long, and sometimes you have to wait months for a surgery appointment—it also means he’s sought after, no?

When it comes to reliable oral surgeons, Dr. Kenneth Chow has made the list. He works at OMS Group, teaches at the prestigious UBC Dental School, and focuses on dental care advancements at UBC and McGill Dental Boards.

His expertise extends from dental implants to complex procedures, like jaw and facial fractures. And we were happy to learn that Dr. Chow has shown exemplary standards, as mentioned by his patients.

From our observations, we learned that he managed to make teeth extraction a painless procedure, even for those scared to visit the dentist. We appreciate his light hands, as the operations went without a hitch.

Unfortunately, they’re a busy clinic, and some patients felt the staff interaction was a little too rushed. If things didn’t go too fast, we think the overall experience would’ve been better.

Their availability is impressive, though, since there are three clinics: Vancouver, Burnaby, and Richmond—convenient for Greater Vancouver residents.

Dr. Graham Grabowski’s clinic specializes in oral and maxillofacial surgery and offers various services, from basic to complex procedures, such as wisdom teeth removal, orthognathic surgery, and trauma operations.

Impressively, he’s also part of the cleft/craniofacial team at BC Children’s Hospital (BCCH), which is where he performs some procedures. In addition, he teaches at UBC and pursues continuing education.

We were pleased with his approach, overall. From what we’ve seen, he’s efficient without rushing the procedures, although some felt that the consultations could’ve been handled with more care, like being more patient, even when the clinic’s busy.

The aftercare has been pleasant, though, as the patients felt supported by the staff. Some also had little to no discomfort after their teeth removal procedures.

There’s only one dental clinic in Vancouver, which isn’t a con because its location is convenient and there are pay parking spots in the area. All in all, he’s an oral surgeon we won’t have issues going to.

A cool feature of her clinic is that it offers various kinds of anesthesia. We appreciate how Dr. Korj and her team ensure the patients are comfortable by letting them pick the anesthesia method they prefer, if possible.

A little hiccup is her staff’s customer service, since some patients didn’t receive an immediate response after their procedures. They’re quite fast when it comes to booking consultations, though.

Plus, the consultations were super informative. We like how they made sure that each patient knew the risks and were informed about aftercare.
