This 2025, Halloween isn’t just about ghouls and scares! This Sunday, October 26, at 8:30 AM, the Burnaby Monster Dash 5K is inviting everyone who wants to get into the spooky spirit while strengthening those quads!

It’s an exciting race at the Swangard Stadium that combines running and dressing up! Instead of the usual sportswear, runners will get the chance to wear their most spooktacular outfits!

Big and little monsters are welcome to join, as kids under the age of 10 can participate because this boo-tastic event doesn’t just stick to long runs. Little rascals can work their little legs at the 400m dash. Meanwhile, the rest can join the 5K run.

Registrants will receive a race kit, which includes a race bib with chip timing, a race medal, and custom souvenirs.

Hold your horses, because it doesn’t stop there! After the race, participants can refuel with food and drinks. Spectators are also welcome to the vendors’ area to mingle with the racers.
