If you haven’t been to Calypso Theme Waterpark just outside Ottawa, you’re missing out! It’s the largest waterpark in Canada, with over 35 waterslides and the biggest wave pool you’ll ever see. 

We had a blast on the Summit Tower, which has some of the tallest slides in North America.

The Zoo Lagoon play area is perfect if you’ve got kids in tow. They’ll love splashing around safely while you enjoy the more intense rides. There’s truly something for everyone here.

Pro Tip: 

For a little extra luxury, rent a VIP cabana. It’s a great place to relax and recharge between rides.

Fallsview Indoor Waterpark

Fallsview Indoor Waterpark is awesome, especially since it’s open year-round. We loved how close it is to Niagara Falls, making it easy to combine a day of water fun with other attractions. The park has 16 thrilling slides, a giant wave pool, and even a relaxing hot tub area.

The Niagara Tipping Bucket is hilarious—it dumps a massive amount of water every few minutes. Perfect for kids and adults who want to cool off fast. Plus, the indoor setting means you don’t have to worry about the weather.

Book a waterpark-hotel package for a seamless and convenient trip. It’s worth it!

Bingemans Big Splash

Bingemans Big Splash in Kitchener is where we had one of the best waterpark experiences—and you can potentially too! 

There are a ton of exciting slides like the Boomerango and Full Throttle. The wave pool is perfect for catching some waves, and the Spray N Play splash pad is ideal for the little ones.

Besides the water fun, there’s mini-golf, bowling, and even escape rooms. We spent the whole day here and didn’t run out of things to do. It’s a fantastic spot for both adventure and relaxation.

Pro Tip: 

Make sure to try the zip line and beach volleyball courts – they add a fun twist to your waterpark day.

Great Wolf Lodge

Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls is perfect for a family getaway. This indoor waterpark resort has slides for every thrill level. 

The Niagara Rapids Run was our favorite, giving us a thrilling ride every time. The Cub Paw Pool is great for young kids with its gentle slides and water play areas.

The whole place is designed for fun, with themed suites and activities like the MagiQuest scavenger hunt. 

Pro Tip: 

Check out the evening story times and pajama parties. They’re a unique and fun way to end your day at the park.

Wild Waterworks

What stood out to us when visiting Wild Waterworks is that it’s so huge, with some of the best water attractions around. 

The wave pool here is one of the largest in Canada, and it’s always a blast to ride the waves or just float around. There are also six exciting slides, including the Kamikaze and the Sidewinder, which are perfect for those of you looking for an adrenaline rush.

For families with younger kids, the Little Squirt Works area is fantastic. It’s a safe and fun place where the little ones can splash around and enjoy smaller slides and water features. Also, the lazy river is perfect for when you just want to kick back and relax.

Pro Tip: 

Bring a waterproof phone case so you can capture all the fun moments without worrying about water damage.

Cedar Park Resort

Cedar Park Resort in Bowmanville is such a gem! This place has been around since 1955 and has a great mix of water attractions and other fun activities. 

We had a blast on their water slides and enjoyed the refreshing pools. The splash zone is perfect for kids, with lots of interactive water features.

Besides the waterpark, there’s an 18-hole mini-golf course and plenty of picnic areas where you can relax and enjoy a meal. It’s a perfect spot for a full day of fun, whether you’re into water adventures or just want to enjoy some time outdoors.

Pro Tip: 

Pack a picnic and make use of the shaded picnic areas—it’s a great way to take a break and enjoy some family time.

Plunge! Aquatic Centre

Plunge! Aquatic Centre in Blue Mountains is an awesome spot for both relaxation and a splashy water adventure. 

This aquatic center offers a variety of indoor and outdoor water attractions, making it perfect regardless of the weather. We loved the rope swings and the water playground – it’s like a giant jungle gym on water.

Also, the hot tubs and swimming pools are great for unwinding, especially after a day of exploring the Blue Mountain area. The location is fantastic too, nestled in a scenic spot that adds to the overall experience.

Pro Tip:

Visit during the evening for a more serene experience. The lighting around the pools creates a relaxing atmosphere.

Adventure Bay Family Water Park

The park is filled with thrilling slides like the Master Blaster and the Python, which we found super exciting. The wave pool is also a highlight, offering fun for all ages.

The park is perfect for families, with a dedicated Splash Zone for younger kids. There’s also a surf simulator for those of you who want to try your hand at surfing. The variety of attractions means there’s something for everyone, making it a perfect family day out.

Logos Land Resort in Cobden is more than just a waterpark —it’s a full-on extreme water-way destination for the most exhilarating experience. 

We had a great time on their water slides and loved the water trampolines and paddle boats. The park also features a mini-golf course and a petting zoo, adding to the variety of activities available.

One of the unique features of Logos Land is the zip lines that run across the water. It’s a great way to see the park from above and add a bit of extra excitement to your visit. The resort also has RV and camping options if you’re looking to stay overnight.

Try the zip lines for a thrilling aerial view of the park. It’s a unique experience you won’t want to miss.

East Park London

East Park in London, Ontario, is a fantastic destination for a day full of fun. The waterpark here has a great mix of thrilling slides, like the Twister and the Python, and more relaxing options like the Lazy River. 

We literally spent hours enjoying the wave pool, which is a great spot to cool off and have some fun while waiting for our stomachs to feel hungry. Likewise, their food is also excellent with traditional burgers and some baby back ribs!

What’s really impressive about East Park is that it’s not just about the water attractions. There’s also go-karting, mini-golf, and batting cages, so you can mix up your activities and keep the excitement going all day long. It’s a perfect spot for families and groups of friends alike.

Pro Tip: 

Check out the go-karting track—it’s a great way to dry off and add some extra fun to your visit.

Splash Works

Located within Canada’s Wonderland, Splash Works is an amazing waterpark that’s perfect for thrill-seekers. 

We absolutely loved the Muskoka Plunge, a 60-foot drop slide that really gets your adrenaline pumping. There are also plenty of other slides and a massive wave pool that’s a hit with everyone.

The Lazy River is perfect for a relaxing float, and the kids’ splash area is ideal for younger visitors. Being part of Canada’s Wonderland, you can also enjoy the theme park rides, making it a full day of fun just like you would have in a place like DisneyLand or Universal Studios.

Pro Tip: 

Visit on a weekday to avoid the weekend crowds and enjoy shorter lines for the rides.

Sherkston Shores

Sherkston Shores on Lake Erie is a fantastic spot for a summer getaway. The waterpark here has some great slides and a splash pad that’s perfect for kids. We loved the variety of activities available, from water sports to beach volleyball.

Also, the resort itself offers plenty of accommodations, including cottages and RV spots, making it easy to turn your waterpark visit into a full vacation. 

On the other side of the park, the beachfront location actually adds to the appeal, giving you plenty of options for fun in the sun.

Pro Tip: 

Rent a kayak or paddleboard for some extra fun on the lake after enjoying the waterpark.

Lake Lisgar Waterpark

Lake Lisgar Waterpark in Tillsonburg is a hidden gem that’s perfect for both families or friends you have for the best weekend getaway. 

The park features a massive twister waterslide that’s a blast to ride. There’s also a heated pool, which makes it great for swimming even on cooler days. We found the atmosphere to be super welcoming and fun.

Also, the layout is very user-friendly, with plenty of shaded areas and picnic spots. It’s a smaller waterpark, sure, but it means you can keep an eye on the kids easily while they explore and play.

Pro Tip: 

Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy it in the shaded picnic areas. It’s a nice way to take a break and refuel.

Splash On Waterparks

Splash On Waterparks offers a unique waterpark experience with their inflatable water parks located on the water in Barrie and Orillia.

It’s like a floating playground with climbing walls, slides, and trampolines. We had a great time bouncing around and trying out the different obstacles.

What’s really fun about Splash On is that it’s different from your typical waterpark. You’re actually on the lake, which adds an extra element of adventure. 

Pro Tip: 

Wear a life jacket, even if you’re a strong swimmer. The obstacles can be challenging, and it’s better to be safe while having fun.
