Going inside the store almost feels nostalgic because it’s like going through your grandmother’s closet. You’ll find chunky necklaces from the 1930s that will undoubtedly complete an outfit.
We also love the selection of vintage clothing and bags, which sometimes look like you could be in an Elizabeth Taylor movie. So, if you want to dress up like a classic Hollywood movie star, then we highly suggest this place!

- Look for a pale green house because you might miss Miriam & Micah Vintage as there’s no big signage. It’s beside a tall blue house, which conveniently, is also a vintage store.

But the best part about going to this shop is it surprises you each time. Sometimes, customers will be lucky to catch some hidden gems, like comics, magazines, and books—and hey, you might find some first-edition classics!
They also offer vintage furniture for rent, which is useful for photoshoots or interior styling. In fact, they’ve worked with movies and TV shows, like It, American Gods, and Locke & Key—shows their incredible taste, no?
Pro Tip:
- We highly suggest checking out the available items on their website besides visiting their shop, which is pretty small. You won’t find all items in-store, so you can visit once the item is delivered at the shop for a one-stop visit.

Situated in a quirky neighbourhood in Downtown Toronto, Exile Vintage is the shop to visit if you’re looking for some whimsical outfits. Some pieces we imagine Colin Baker as The Doctor would proudly wear while saving the universe!
Upon entering the store, you’ll find some peculiar and charming pieces to add to your wardrobe using a tonne of designs and styles from different eras. You can even put together a whole outfit that the adorable Louisa Clark would wear in Me Before You.
Here, vintage doesn’t have to look old—it’s simply self-expression by putting together both classic and unique pieces. It’s all about individuality at this store, kind of like the vibe of their location at Kensington Avenue!
Pro Tip:
- Check out their other shop, Exile Bargain Basement, located just under their Exile Vintage. It’s like heaven for thrifty shoppers as there are super low prices!
- The way to their bargain shop isn’t easy to spot. Don’t be shy and ask one of the staff members and they’ll gladly show you the way!

One of our staple places for high-quality vintage furniture is GUFF, focusing on mid-century modern style–kind of like the gorgeous set design of Mad Men. We have to say that their furniture pieces are classic and make for a perfect addition to any home.
Anyone can sell their vintage items at GUFF, which they repair and reupholster, like furniture upcycling. The quality remains top-notch because of their incredible skills in restoration—and any wear and tear will always be listed for transparency.
At this home decor shop, you’ll find yourself scrambling to buy eye-catching pieces because each is one-of-a-kind, given that they almost feel like a high-end second-hand store. It’s a good thing they have an online store if you’re busy!
Pro Tip:
- It’s best to bring your own vehicle, preferably an SUV or pick-up if you have one, since GUFF doesn’t have an in-house delivery team. But they have a third-party delivery service recommendation.
- If you’re picking up the furniture, don’t forget to bring some packing materials because these are not provided. Bring something to prevent scratches or dents during the ride, like thick blankets, cardboard, and corner protectors.
Ragdoll Vintage

Location: 372 College St, Toronto, ON M5T 1S6, Canada
Contact Details: Via Instagram or Etsy direct message
Opening Hours: Monday – Sunday: 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Surely, Ragdoll Vintage stands out in Downtown Toronto with the shop’s circus-inspired storefront. The interior is the same story, with red and white stripes on the wall, resembling a circus tent circa 1800s.
Everything in the store catches your attention, with mannequins on the wall and ceiling, which some might say is creepy—but we say it’s peculiar. Many of the outfits they have scream 1970s fashion, but don’t be surprised to find pieces way before that time.
You can basically purchase a whole outfit here, with hats, sunglasses, jewellery, and shoes. It’s easy to browse the racks to find different styles, whether you want to look like a rich auntie or a flapper off to the jazz club.
Pro Tip:
- Look at the prices because if you spend $100 or more, you get to spin the wheel and get a special prize.
