We appreciate their wide range of landscaping services, including lawn care, repair, and building hardscape patios. Their designs vary depending on the property while keeping the outdoor space pleasing to the eyes.

Furthermore, their design team can work within the budget without sacrificing quality. The clients we surveyed expressed their satisfaction with the outcome of their newly designed lawns.

Additionally, we like their maintenance services to keep lawns visually appealing even with their client’s busy schedules. Their lawn care specialists are available weekly, monthly, or annually.

What’s more, their maintenance services include trimming small trees, removing debris and leaves, watering plants, edging, and fertilizing. They also offer winter lawn care and snow removal to prepare lawns for the upcoming season.

Moreover, we appreciate that they offer landscaping materials such as soil, limestone, rocks, sand, and mulch for same-day or next-day delivery. However, this service is only available for spring and summer.

Finally, we value The Sodfather’s availability six days a week, which allows clients to observe the design and installation process without having to miss work. Just note that they may have limited slots available since their schedule tends to fill up quickly.

We admire their focus on indigenous-centred projects incorporating designs reflecting the traditions and culture. They ensure accuracy by consulting with the Indigenous Elders and Knowledge Keepers.

Their landscaping services are extensive from design to removal of existing features to construction. We were stoked that it includes building patios, pergolas, water features, fire features, pool decks, privacy screens, and accent kitchens.

Additionally, we like that they provide two design options available for revisions. These are all based on the client’s vision and budget and have a 3D presentation of the master plan for a realistic look.

As a sustainability advocate, B. Rocke Landscaping helps clients reduce their carbon footprint by promoting the use of eco-friendly products. They prioritize locally manufactured materials and suppliers with green initiatives, which we highly appreciate.

But we found their prices slightly higher than other landscaping services in Winnipeg, which their clients mentioned as well. Nonetheless, we want to acknowledge the top-notch overall work quality!

Another downside we found about B. Rocke Landscaping is they’re closed on weekends. That means clients will need to take time off for a consultation.

3 Seasons Landscaping has been around for almost four decades in Winnipeg, serving residential and commercial clients. They have a wide coverage area, including rural Manitoba and Kenora in western Ontario.

We were pleased that they’re an award-winning company. From 2009 to 2020, they have consistently won the “Awards of Excellence” category of Landscape Manitoba. 

Aside from the usual landscaping services, their full-time design team can provide plans for custom installations like patios, decks, and boardwalks. They also highly consider the budget and the client’s wish list, which we looked for.

A service we were happy about is grounds maintenance, which includes aerating, grass cutting, and cleanups during spring and summer. We found this useful for clients with tight schedules and senior citizens.

In addition, we like their custom services depending on the yard’s size and needs. They offer annual weed control and fertilization, ideal for busy bees.

Aside from those, they have a nursery stock of specimen trees, shrubs, and perennial plants. Their inventory ensures they can provide complete materials for their clients.

It’s worth noting that they collaborate with Athletic Flooring Systems, a sports court contractor. By working alongside each other, they can complement each other’s designs.

We also like that 3 Seasons Landscaping is open six days a week—no need for a day off during weekdays. But we were disappointed to hear some complaints about unresponsiveness regarding quotations and late follow-ups.

Total Yard Works Landscaping & Fences has been serving Winnipeg for over a decade. They offer hardscaping and softscaping services to residential homes.

A service we like is artificial turf installation, an ideal option for homeowners who don’t have time for regular lawn maintenance. They also provide pet-friendly options, which we admire. 

We also found it noteworthy that their hardscaping service includes patio and gazebo installation, as well as retaining walls for elevation. 

They also offer three kinds of decorative rocks: river rock, creek rock, and black granite—perfect for any landscape design style!

A service they specialize in is fence building and installation, offering wood, chain link, and ornamental. We appreciate how they can install these to complement the landscaping design.

One drawback we discovered is that their landscaping services are not available for commercial clients. They only install fences and doors to commercial properties.

On a good note, the homeowners we conversed with liked the professional service. They were pleased with the team’s effectiveness and efficiency, even when dealing with large yards.

Furthermore, Total Yard Works Landscaping & Fences received positive feedback regarding their competitive rates. Besides that, they were highly responsive, even during busy seasons for landscaping contractors.

Sadly, they are not available on weekends. Clients will need to take some time off for consultations and planning.

Green Point Landscaping is a small family business servicing residential and commercial clients in Winnipeg and its surrounding areas. From our research, we found that they do landscaping for new home builds and existing yards.

What we’d like to highlight is that they sell  landscaping materials, such as rocks, boulders, cedars, and trees. They offer these in bulk, allowing clients to buy them from the same landscaping contractors conveniently.

In fact, they have a vast stock selection of boulders, so you’re pretty sure you’ll find something you’d like here! Plus, they offer delivery and placement services for a seamless and stress-free process.

However, they do not operate a physical store for clients to purchase in person. Instead, they offer their products and services through online messages and calls.

Another aspect we appreciate is that Green Point is fully equipped to provide better and more efficient service, especially for large-scale projects. They even offer skid steer services for levelling the ground, excavation, backfilling, and tree spade transplanting.

Moreover, we like their lawn care available for one-time or seasonal contracts, which include spring and fall cleanups and lawn mowing with bagging. But this is currently available on large lawns. 

Our client surveys showed outstanding reviews for workmanship. They complimented the Green Point Landscaping team for exceeding their expectations while staying on budget.

Furthermore, they provide reasonable rates and also suggest cost-effective solutions. Some even paid exactly what the initial quote was, which we find impressive.
