On top of that, you don’t have to break the bank since they have competitive rates. We’re talking about just $30 to $40 for a men’s or women’s cut as a starting point — lower than the average market price of $60.

Based on our surveys, Cinderella Hair Salon has built up quite a long list of loyal clients over the years. Some of these clients have practically grown up with the salon, which says a lot about the quality and consistency they offer.

We also appreciate the friendly ambiance in their salon and how the stylists take their time to educate and inform you on how to further take care of and preserve your hair. 

You can expect your hair dye session to turn out great. Plus, the clients’ hair tends to stay in great shape for a long time, thanks to the salon’s easy-care instructions.

On the contrary, we did notice a few things worth mentioning about their final touches, especially some minor length inconsistencies with a few strands of hair. So, here’s a tip: ensure you take a good look at your hair before you leave to avoid any surprises when you get home.

Nonetheless, Cinderella Hair Salon is worth it, especially when you see their affordable rates kicking off at just $35 for a haircut. And here’s the cherry on top: booking an appointment with them is a breeze since they’re highly responsive.

Next on our list is Bella Jin Hair Salon, which offers haircuts, styling, hair colouring, highlights, treatments and perms, hair extensions and wig services for Torontonians. 

Speaking of that, we think it’s cool that they offer wig services, especially for those who might be dealing with challenges in growing and styling their hair just the way they want. 

From what we’ve seen, you can find a wig that perfectly matches your own natural hair and feels incredibly comfortable.

We also commend their knack for nailing their balayage services. Many clients who went for it were seriously pleased with the results.

And major kudos to the salon for using top-notch products and techniques to make these hair transformations a success!

But we’re a bit iffy about reports about them not paying enough attention to the finer details, like hair lengths and other treatment services for different hair types.

Also, just a heads up, we did notice a few booking hiccups, like unrecorded appointments, which could be inconvenient for clients when they show up. You’ll probably need to confirm your appointment via call when it’s coming up soon.

Overall, we believe that Bella Jin Hair Salon is a solid choice, especially if you’re aiming to match the reference photo you saved. Luckily, men’s and women’s haircuts start at $23 and $35, respectively.

On the downside, we noticed that there can be long queues and wait times, even if you already have an appointment.

Some clients also shared that they felt the services they got were a bit rushed and didn’t quite match up to the expected time for that kind of service. But we commend them for correcting any concerns raised ASAP.

As for their rates, their haircuts and styling start at $55 and $100, which is quite reasonable. But keep an eye out for that 50% cancellation fee if you need to cancel your appointment within 48 hours.

Still, H2Goa Hair Studio deserves some credit for its highly experienced stylists. These pros don’t just work their magic on your hair; they also provide detailed aftercare instructions to keep your locks looking fantastic.

Ever since it set up shop in Koreatown in 1995, Goa Hair Salon continues to provide various services, including professional hair cutting, styling, balayage, colouring and perms.

One thing that’s really cool about them is they’ve got a large team of stylists, and each one brings their own specialty to the table. Plus, they can handle multiple clients at once.

However, we still heard a couple of complaints regarding long wait times, even with those having bookings already.

On that note, we noted some reports of booking confirmation issues, which caused some confusion and inconvenience for the clients. 

So, we suggest double-checking your booking by calling them at least two to three days before your appointment — better safe than sorry, eh?

Fortunately, their team and staff are a pretty friendly bunch, so when you’ve got concerns to share, they’re usually pretty chill about it. But here’s the thing: you might run into a little language barrier issue since not all of them are fluent in English.
