One of the things we like most about them is they cater to a wide range of clients, from Saskatchewan to Western Ontario. They don’t stick to just one area—nice!

On top of that, we really like that they have a showroom in Sunnyside, allowing potential clients to view their cabinets before making a commitment. Plus, you can check their available wood species, designs, and styles!

Moreover, we appreciate that they are open for Saturday appointments! A convenient aspect for busy bees!

We also find it convenient that their manufacturing plant is based in Manitoba. The positive aspect for us is the quicker delivery for Winnipeggers since the kitchen cabinets don’t need to travel far.

Additionally, we think it’s great that they make and install custom kitchen cabinets in various colours and designs—they can even match the colours to your vision flawlessly! Their workmanship quality is pretty remarkable, too!

However, we were a bit iffy about some reports we received regarding incorrect delivery of items, which resulted in installation delays. We think issues like this are inconvenient for clients doing renovations. 

There were also instances of miscommunication, which we were saddened by. On a good note, we do appreciate the Springfield Woodworking team for addressing the issues immediately.

One of our favourite things about Accord Custom Cabinets is their wide range of services and materials, from kitchen cabinets to wall units to fireplace mantles. It seems like they’re a one-stop shop for renovations, no?

They design, create, and install—highly convenient! Plus, we appreciate their accommodating nature because they can schedule the design consultation at their showroom or the client’s home!

Additionally, they are open on Saturdays—no need to take a day off! We also appreciate that they can schedule after-hour consultations for clients with tight schedules.

Another aspect we think is convenient is their partnerships with several interior designers in Winnipeg. For our team, it’s highly beneficial as it allows clients to work with skilled professionals to bring their vision to reality!

One of their specializations, aside from handcrafted kitchen cabinet making, is millwork—no pre-fabricated pieces here! We also like that they don’t stick to traditional methods but provide their clients freedom regarding design, colour, and finish.

Furthermore, their attention to detail deserves a mention. Our team and their previous clients were impressed with their workmanship quality— durable kitchen cabinets are what we want!

Although some clients experienced a few hiccups due to incorrect measurements and turnaround times, we admire Accord Custom Cabinets for their prompt responses. For us, it speaks about their client-focused approach.

What most impressed us about Gateway Kitchen + Bath is the recognition they earned over the years. It speaks about their work quality, no?

In fact, they earned the Design Award Honorable Mention from the National Kitchen & Bath Association and won the Best Multipurpose Exhibitor Award from the Kitchen Bath & Renovation Show. Pretty impressive!

We do appreciate their availability. They provide Saturday consultations on an appointment basis in any of their two showrooms at Gateway and Scurfield.

Another aspect we like is their wide variety of services. Aside from specializing in kitchen and bathroom cabinet making, they also offer interior design, home renovations, and project management!

In our opinion, they’re like an all-in-one store—really helpful for redesign works, huh? It also helps that they do whole kitchen renovations!

Moreover, we really like that they have in-house interior designers who have a list of professional vendors to help bring your vision to reality. For instance, they know professional painters who can match the colour of your kitchen cabinets!

Additionally, they have project managers on board who will execute and monitor the whole kitchen renovation process. As we see it, Gateway Kitchen + Bath is a really convenient company to work with—and not just for kitchen cabinets!

While we were happy with what we’ve seen so far, we were bummed to hear about incorrect turnaround times. While delays are understandable, we hope they communicated better to avoid misunderstandings.

Also, we were saddened to learn that some potential clients had to look for another kitchen cabinet maker because they didn’t get a response. Nonetheless, we’re glad that Gateway Kitchen + Bath has improved their communication over the past few years.

JJ Cabinet Warehouse is a BBB-accredited business, which we appreciate as it shows their commitment to addressing client complaints. We also like their experience in the industry—over 30 years!

One of the things that caught our attention is their large inventory with various styles, designs, and colours. We like the convenience of going to their warehouse and quickly finding the kitchen cabinets you want!

Furthermore, we really like that they cater to commercial clients for wholesale orders of kitchen cabinets. Impressively, they can work on cabinet orders for over 25 kitchens—ideal for property management companies and builders.

Not only that, but they also offer custom kitchen cabinets. It benefits clients who prefer a more hands-on approach to their kitchen project.

Additionally, we appreciate that they provide free design consultation for all clients. No extra charges, which our team approves of!

We also like that they have a showroom in Winnipeg for clients to see their available designs and styles. In our opinion, this is really helpful as clients can personally check their workmanship quality.

Unfortunately, they are closed on Saturdays and Sundays, limiting their availability. It doesn’t help clients with busy work schedules, too.

Another issue we have is the incorrect delivery times. It happened to some of their clients, which resulted in installation delays.

Rosehill Woodcrafters Ltd. has over three decades of experience in the cabinetry industry. It impressed us as it shows their dedication to providing kitchen cabinets in Winnipeg!

It impressed us that they are certified by the Canadian Kitchen Cabinet Association (CKCA). This entails that their kitchen cabinets have passed high-quality standards, showing their excellent workmanship!

We also really like that they have two locations, one in Winnipeg and the other in MacGregor. Their Winnipeg showroom is open on Saturdays, too, which benefits people who are always on the go!

One of their specializations that drew us in is their outdoor kitchen cabinetry services. We were honestly amazed that they create cabinets that can withstand Winnipeg’s seasons—they’re 100% weatherproof!

In our opinion, their mastery of outdoor cabinetry is a testament to their craftsmanship. They create cabinets that remain resilient against warping or deterioration, even when exposed to snow!

Plus, we really like that they include a $7.00 allowance for cabinet handles for every project! That may not seem like a lot, but even a loonie is an advantage for budget-conscious clients!

We really like what we’ve gathered so far, but we did come across a minor issue. Some clients encountered a slow installation process with Rosehill Woodcrafters Ltd., which is a downside.

On a good note, their craftsmanship and workmanship have been impeccable! That makes up for the slow installation, we think!
