9 Best Hotel Spas in Quebec to Consider for Your Next Day Off
As a frequent traveller, one of the things I look for when searching for a hotel is a spa. I love ending my adventurous day or weekend by spending hours in these hotel spas and experiencing the most relaxing and lavish massages.
Recently, I’ve been bouncing around Quebec and enjoying its fun activities, and it’s taken a toll on my body. Fortunately, the luxurious hotel I was staying at offered more than just looks; their spa helped my body regain its full potential!
If you’re looking to try my travelling tradition or simply looking for a quick staycation, I’ve got you covered. Fortunately, Quebec has lots of these hotel spas up its sleeve, and I’m here to spill the beans on my favourite ones, so keep reading!
Moment Spa – Fairmont Le Château Frontenac

If you’ve always wanted to know what it feels like to stay in a castle, Fairmont Le Château Frontenac may be the closest thing you can get! It’s among the most iconic buildings in Quebec because of its stylish French Renaissance architecture, featuring towers, pitched roofs, etc.
However, the real highlight lies in its wellness spa, which offers one of my favourite facial treatments in the city. We don’t know if it’s a placebo effect, but their anti-wrinkle treatment gave us a non-surgical facelift! It was indeed extremely relaxing too.
They also offer different massages catering to athletes, couples, and even soon-to-be moms! After a long day of walking from and to iconic Quebec destinations, however, we recommend getting a foot massage to revitalise your tired legs!
Pro tip:
Make sure to find time to check out Dufferin Terrace, located just across the street from the hotel. This historic attraction was built in 1859 and is one of the best places to admire city and river views.

We always love talking about OTL Gouverneur Sherbrooke because, for a five-star hotel, it’s not that expensive! This time, however, we will highlight PAŪS Spa Expérience, its in-house spa, because of its fantastic pampering services.
For starters, PAŪS offers an extremely relaxing massage that’s great for anyone who doesn’t want a specific area targeted. We also love how their masseuse adapts the lightness or hardness of their kneading technique based on the client’s preference.
Men can also get treated like princesses here through the spa’s facial, manicure, and pedicure services. Their Romeo and Juliette facial is our favourite because it incorporates natural ingredients like lemon, dill, and lavender, making it a total feast for the senses.
Pro tip:
If you’re opting for the relaxation massage package, we recommend going for the 90-minute experience so that you can leave feeling satisfied and not wanting more. We also recommend adding essential oils to your massage, which only costs CAD5.
Littoral Hôtel & Spa

Littoral Hôtel & Spa is one of our go-to places to stay in Quebec because of its value-for-money rooms. It offers affordable, modernly designed pads with complete amenities and an overall peaceful ambience, thanks to the riverside location.
One of our favourite things about staying here is that they offer packages that combine their rooms with one of their specialty spa services. For instance, you can book their Zen Package, which comes with an overnight stay, a massage, free breakfast, espressos, and more!
They also offer facials that will leave you feeling relaxed and younger afterwards, thanks to the different serums and techniques they use. You can pair these with their massages, too if you’re looking for the full pampering experience!

Follow their official Instagram page to stay in the loop of their promotions and discounts for their spa services. They’ll usually post exclusive and limited monthly deals there and provide a link redirecting to their online booking page.

Hôtel & Spa Le Germain Charlevoix is a great destination for those looking for some time off from the hustle and bustle of the city. Its slightly remote location allows guests to enjoy a serene ambience and beautiful views, especially when relaxing at their outdoor swimming pool!
They offer both hot and cold swimming pools, which you can alternate between to help improve your blood circulation. If you choose to spend a longer time in their hot pools, the best way to cool down is at their Nordic shower, which will blast you with freezing 11 °C waters.
Meanwhile, if you decide to stay in the colder pool, you can head straight to the Finnish sauna, which overlooks the beautiful field, complete with grazing sheep! Alternatively, you can head to the eucalyptus steam room, which offers the same heat but with the added minty aroma.

If you’re looking for a fancy gastronomic experience, consider stopping by Restaurant Les Labours. It’s an open-concept kitchen, so you’ll be seeing how your dishes unfold through the masterful chefs’ preparation/performance.

Price and location aside, we love this hotel because of its spa facilities, especially its saltwater indoor pool. This, paired with a couple of minutes up to an hour in their sauna is a match made in heaven!
