We’d also like to see an improvement in their communication, especially when showing up for the right appointment time. But, they compensate for their daily availability and 24/7 customer support line, making them an overall reliable service.

Established in 2016, AirZone HVAC Services has specialized in heating and cooling services. But what we love is how they’ve expanded since then, which shows their commitment to the industry.

Their licensed and insured technicians offer air conditioning repair, diagnostic, and maintenance. Their thorough and professional service is pretty awesome, too, which many clients we talked to mentioned as well.

Another aspect worth mentioning is their competitive prices, starting at $149 + HST per hour during regular office hours. But since they’re not open daily, weekend hours will be more expensive at $225 + HST per hour.

Still, we like that they’re available for emergencies, even with a higher rate. Their emergency repairs are available 24/7, which is really convenient when your AC breaks down in the summer.

We also found that their Family Membership Plans are affordable, starting at $16.99 + HST, and already include a pretty decent list of benefits. This lower tier has 15% off on filters and scheduled service, and annual HVAC maintenance.

It’s nice they also offer promos that will help you save some more money. There’s quite a variety, like tune-ups and a free 10-year warranty, allowing you to find the right offer that will work best for your situation.

A staple air conditioner repair service in Ottawa is J.C. Robinson & Sons. They’ve impressively been around since 1923—that’s over a hundred years in the business!

They’re also a BBB accredited business and has been a member since 1970. What’s nice about this is you can be sure of their high standard of customer support.

It’s also nice that many of their technicians have chosen to stay with them for their entire careers. It’s also cool that their in-house team are very knowledgeable in terms of AC repair, no matter what make and model that is.

Clients we spoke with complimented the technicians for their impeccable service. However, we noticed they sometimes have a hard time answering and returning calls during busy days, which is a small issue we encountered.

On a good note, we like that they carry many high-quality replacement parts and products, which is awesome should you need these during the repair. It also lessens the waiting time if your air conditioner needs some components replaced.

It doesn’t matter that their regular operating hours are only five days a week because they have 24/7 emergency services. We also appreciate that they have a team on standby, which is awesome for late-night AC problems.

Constant Home Comfort is one of our picks because of their top-notch service. They even received the HomeStars Best Of Award in 2020, which speaks volumes about their quality of service and good customer support.

They offer a bunch of services, including heating and cooling repairs and maintenance. It’s also noteworthy that they work on many air conditioner brands and models, which is convenient because it indicates their extensive knowledge.

We also like their Maintenance Plan, which includes a 17-point inspection to ensure your air conditioner is working properly and effectively.

One of the most impressive things is their 24/7 emergency repair services. Plus, their technicians are available for same-day repairs, which is really helpful for unexpected air conditioning unit issues.

Even better, we noted that they’re praised mostly for their efficient service! Clients we spoke with were happy with the quick process, even when there were components that needed to be replaced.

It’s just unfortunate to hear about instances when clients didn’t receive a response. But we found that these don’t seem to happen often, and it’s mostly during peak seasons or when they’re getting a high number of calls.

Although their regular office hours don’t include weekends, we really don’t mind because they have 24/7 emergency repair services. It makes them accessible for Ottawa homeowners anytime.

We’re just a bit iffy to hear about poor communication problems. But, we appreciate them for making up for it, which previous clients have appreciated.
