There’s nothing more romantic than visiting the charming town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. It’s one of the must-see places in Ontario due to its historic appeal, adorable shops, streets lined with lush trees and colourful blossoms, and famous wineries.
Go on a bike ride around town, try local restaurants (Doughvine on Victoria Street makes divine donuts!), shop at Lakeshore Antiques & Treasures (the largest antique centre in the area) on Lundy’s Lane, and stay at cute bed and breakfast spots.
Something you have to do in Niagara-on-the-Lake is to visit the best wineries Ontario has to offer! There’s a tonne of wineries spread out all over, where you can do a winery tour and taste smooth and heavenly wines.
Pro Tip:
Head over to Queen Street to check out the charming, quaint shops. It’s the main street in Niagara-on-the-Lake, so you’ll find unique establishments and art galleries in the area.

If you want to take a helicopter or seaplane to the resort, you need to go to Vancouver first since the departure location is in the Vancouver International (YVR) South Terminal. Remember that flights are available only four times a week.
Charlottetown

Don’t miss out on visiting cultural exhibitions, farmer’s markets, historic walking tours, and the best restaurants in Charlottetown. When the sun goes down, visit the local pubs and have a taste of the seaside city’s craft beer!
Pro Tip:
The best months to visit Charlottetown are from June to September because of the many happenings around town. Even though it may be crowded with tourists, it’s still not as bad as other popular summer areas in Canada.

Old Montreal in Quebec is built differently. It’s like a scene out of a fairytale, with gorgeous Art Deco buildings, cobblestone streets, historical places, quaint shops, and incredible cuisine.
If you want a romantic getaway to enjoy the outdoors while looking at the most magnificent structures, you better head over to Old Montreal. Take a stroll at Rue St. Paul, which is lined up with shops, restaurants, and cafes.
You can have a romantic yet spooky time on Halloween by joining a ghost walking tour. Winter is particularly magical because of the snow-covered streets and Igloofest, an annual music festival where people enjoy great songs and mulled wine!
Swing by Vieux-Port, or the Old Port of Montreal, and enjoy the views of the St. Lawrence River. You can have a nice walk under the sun or ride the multi-seater bike and stroll the docks.
Pro Tips:
Old Montreal is a popular tourist spot. So when you’re wandering about, remember not to stop abruptly on the streets and don’t walk in the bike lanes to avoid obstruction.
If you plan on admiring the churches, make sure you do when there’s no ongoing Mass. If you do plan on going to Mass, check if they do it in English (the Notre Dame Basilica only offers Mass in French).

Bring lots of coins! The showers, washers, and dryers are coin-operated. The shower is a loonie for five minutes and a toonie per load for the washer and dryer.

The overnight package includes a $150 spa and wellness allowance, afternoon tea, course meals, nightly turn down service, and complete use of the outdoor facilities. You can also visit the gluten-free bakery for some homemade goods if you need a treat!
Pro Tips:
Remember to book months ahead of your scheduled retreat and make sure you know which package or services to avail. The spa reservations get filled up at least two months in advance, so you may not get your preferred service if you book late.
Also, don’t forget to bring your own slippers to use inside the spa, a bathing suit, a small bag that can fit the locker, and sunscreen.
