Great service, friendly, and affordable

Friendly, fast, and courteous service
“Highly recommend Pete and WestCoast Mobile. Panel went on my 6/year old Samsung. Pete took the panel of another TV and basically made one TV out of two. Picked up and delivered my TV. Works like new. Friendly, fast, courteous service. (Even picked me up as I was walking home from the garage where I had to leave my car). That’s extra!!”

One of our most trusted TV repair services in Vancouver is Ableman TV, which fixes all brands and types. They accept LED, OLED, Plasma, and even CRT TVs, making them ideal for new and old tellies.
Another reason we trust them is that they’ve refurbished a bunch of TVs (and other electronics), which they sell in their shop. These actually work fine, which showcases their repair expertise.
A little hiccup is that they don’t fix broken screens, which we understand, since some will cost over half the price of a new one. The transparency is worth noting, and we appreciate that they don’t try to repair what they think isn’t worth it, budget-wise.
A feature we want to highlight is that they accept broken TV drop-offs for recycling—sustainability always gets a thumbs up. But any other issue, they can work on.
During our surveys, we were pleased to find that they successfully brought TVs back to life—basically, those that won’t turn on. And since they have lots of parts on hand, the turnaround times are quick.

Sortek Electronics is a massive repair service in North Vancouver, specializing in a wide array of consumer-grade and industrial equipment. They work on flat screen TVs and other electronics, making them an all-in-one repair service.
Plus, they repair TVs that are still under warranty from specific manufacturers, as well as out-of-warranty equipment. If you bought your TV from a large business, like Best Buy, you’ll most likely find it covered under an extended warranty here.
It’s awesome that they repair new and old TVs, and they go above and beyond. An example is assisting the client regarding extended warranties for costly repairs, which is a nice touch that you won’t see in every TV repair service in Vancouver.
Communication isn’t the best, however, except when you’re speaking to them in person. We’ve had a couple of calls left unanswered, unfortunately.
But the overall service has been incredible if you look at their repairs. Turnaround times are pretty fast for a big repair shop, taking only a couple of days.
Very friendly and reliable place
