Toronto’s Top 5 Osteopaths That Made Our Aches and Pains Go Away
A few years ago, I was having horrible shoulder pain after a baseball mishap. It was so frequent that it became a part of my life—it was like I just submitted to the pain because over-the-counter medicines stopped working.
I admit I wasn’t aware of osteopathic treatments (I hadn’t even heard of the word before), but a few friends suggested it because they’ve gone through it before (and had successful results, might I add).
And that’s how I managed to gather this list of osteopaths in Toronto—because these are the ones who have improved our lives. So, if you’re having mobility and health problems, check out the ones who helped us!

Pros
- Has a convenient location
- Has a parking area for patients
- Prices are reasonable
- Treatments are customized
Cons
- Less than five years in the business
The good thing about Soma Osteopathy is they’re conveniently located on Sheppard Avenue. There are plenty of bus stops near their clinic and there’s a parking area, so it’s easy to get there.
We also really like their clinic, which is clean and has a welcoming vibe. The staff is also well known for being accommodating, which makes you feel like you’re in good hands.
Their osteopathic manual practitioner is also their founder, Lidiya De Luca, who studied at the Canadian College of Osteopathy and graduated in 2018. Now, we’re probably just splitting hairs here, but their clinic is still a toddler since it was only established in 2019.
Their specialization lies in osteopathic manual therapy for managing pain and treating diseases, but they also offer other services that work well when combined with osteopathy. They treat injuries, musculoskeletal dysfunctions, and chronic pain.
You’ll also get a customized treatment plan, which is awesome because it ensures you get the results you need. Coming here actually feels transformative—even the patients we spoke with loved their caring and hands-on approach.
Prices are also incredible here. For only $140 plus HST, you can book an initial assessment, which makes them within reach if you have a limited budget.

Pros
- Treats a myriad of conditions
- Clinic is located downtown
- Available on Saturdays
- Prices are reasonable
Cons
- Needs at least a week to book
Olsi Hasko, an osteopathic manual practitioner at PinPoint Health, is a registered manual osteopathic professional. He graduated in 2015 at the Southern Ontario College of Osteopathy, which shows his background and training.
He also does massage therapy, which is convenient should that be part of your treatment plan. Plus, it helps that he can treat a myriad of conditions, such as chronic pain, sports-related injuries, anxiety, postural dysfunction, and anxiety.
We also like how thorough his explanations are, which is awesome because he can help you understand your condition better. Plus, it’s a nice addition that he provides helpful tips and tricks to do at home.
His availability also earns massive points. His clinic at PinPoint Health is located downtown, so you’re sure to get there quickly.
Hasko’s osteopathy services are also available five days a week, including Saturdays, which is cool if you have a tight schedule. But do book at least a week in advance if you want to get the best time, especially on weekends.
As for the prices, we were pleasantly surprised at how reasonable they are. A 50-minute initial assessment is only $145 plus HST, and overall, that makes him an affordable and reliable choice.

Pros
- Member of the OAO
- Treats children of all ages
- Has flexible hours
- Clinic is easy to get to
Cons
- Parking difficulty during rush hours
Osteopathy in Toronto is one of our picks because of their highly experienced practitioner. Michael Kolesa is the chief osteopath practitioner and owner of the clinic.
He’s also a member of the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (OAO), which promotes the highest level of safe osteopathy. It’s even more awesome that OAO is recognized by all insurers, which is really useful.
His specialization lies in biodynamic osteopathy, which is a more gentle approach to healing. We also want to note that he’s known for being super gentle and nice—he even treats kids of all ages, which speaks volumes about his expertise.
Plus, it’s nice he focuses on treating many kinds of conditions, such as back pain, pregnancy aches, trauma and injuries, post-concussion symptoms, and chronic pain.
His clinic is also really easy to visit because it’s only a ten-minute walk from Eglinton Station. But if you’re driving, you’ll need to look for a pay parking area or settle for street parking—just make sure to avoid rush hour appointments or you won’t get a spot.
But it’s a good thing he and his staff have flexible hours, making his clinic reliable. You can even book evenings and Saturdays, which are very practical for families.

Pros
- Uses a gentle and hands-on approach
- Office is conveniently located downtown
- Open on Saturdays
- Accepts patients of all ages
Cons
- Prices are a tad above average
Philip Drube of The Spinal Joint Classical Osteopathy is a graduate of the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy and Holistic Health Sciences, which indicates his educational background in the field.
He also has memberships with the Ontario Osteopathic Association and the Canadian Institute of Classical Osteopathy. What these entail is his continued pursuit of education and safe practices, which we highly appreciate.
His services focus on osteopathic manipulative therapy, which is a gentle but hands-on approach to healing. His skills are top-notch, too, given that most patients we spoke with noted they felt a difference even after just one visit.
It’s worth noting he treats various health conditions, such as backaches, neck pain, headaches, and neuromusculoskeletal tension. Plus, it’s awesome he can treat individuals of all ages—yup, including children.
We also love his bright and clean office, which is open on Saturdays. It doesn’t even feel like a clinic but feels warm with a comforting aura.
The downtown location is also handy because commuting won’t be a problem. You won’t worry about getting home since transit stops are beaming in the area.
It’s just a bummer that his prices are a tad above average—an initial treatment is $150 plus HST. But overall, he’s still one of our top choices.

Pros
- Focuses on evidence-based treatments
- Located in downtown Toronto
- Provides ongoing support
- Updated on the latest health trends
Cons
- Prices are a little higher
Annex Osteopathy is all about evidence-based treatments, which is one of the reasons we like them. There are a bunch of osteopathic modalities here, which is cool because you can come to them for almost anything.
Here’s what they offer: craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, lymphatic drainage, visceral manipulation massage, and osteoarticular corrections. You’ll also receive an individualized treatment plan to ensure you receive the best results.
Matvey Kipershtein owns this osteopathy clinic in downtown Toronto. He impressed us because we learned he’s always on top of the latest health trends—and he’s known to be very knowledgeable and polite.
He treats various health conditions as well, which is good news because he can cater to many patients in Toronto. He can work out a treatment plan for neck pain, jaw pain, migraines, pregnancy discomfort, sports-related injuries, and digestive issues.
Plus, we love that he provides ongoing patient support. It’s like your treatment doesn’t end once you leave his office, which is nice.
His initial assessment is just a wee pricier, which is an issue if you’re on a tight budget. A 60-minute appointment for new patients is $160, just a few dollars higher than we’re used to, but nonetheless, his top-notch service matches his rates.
