We turned to MVR Landscaping for our driveway because we were impressed with their portfolio. For starters, we liked how varied their interlocking tiles were and how their services catered to walkways, backyards, and patios as well.

Their previous clients also shared how much they liked MVR’s quality of workmanship. A handful of them told us that they haven’t done any repairs or changes to their driveways thanks to the durable tiles and masterful execution.

During MVR’s time in our household, one thing that stood out to us was the workers’ professionalism. They were constantly providing us updates throughout the day, and before we knew it, they were finished with our driveway.

Lastly, we chose MVR for our home because their rates were unbeatable in the market at that time, and they were one of the few companies that offered free estimates. Plus, they didn’t charge commissions for materials and sales.

The only thing we’re iffy about is that they’re closed on Sundays. It’s mainly a non-issue, though, since they’re quick to respond to inquiries.

Roger’s Landscaping was one of our top prospects because of their 30+ years of experience in providing interlocking services. They also had an impressive portfolio to show for their experience, which showcased their capabilities and design variety.

We also reached out to homeowners who availed of interlocking paving, and they were pleased with the results, even years after the project’s completion. They also brought up something we noticed as well, which was the sleek and clean look of their projects.

Roger’s workers were also highlighted during our interviews as being friendly and professional. Clients stated how they cleaned up after themselves, and were always courteous whenever they needed to enter their homes.

Their customer service line is also worth noting, as they’re always responsive, especially when asking for initial quotations. Plus, booking a schedule is made easy on their site.

The only things we don’t like about Roger’s Landscaping are their limited operating hours and slightly pricey rates.

Milton Stone’s 24 hours of operation piqued our interest, as it’s something you don’t typically find in landscapers in Burlington.

Fortunately, we looked deeper, as the company offers some of the sleekest interlocking pavers in the area. Some of our interviewees were gracious enough to provide before and after photos, and the differences were impressive.

We have to give props to their workers, as their expertise covers various outdoor areas. The samples we saw consisted of driveways, porches, patios—the works.

Speaking of, the workers were also praised in our interviews for their hands-on approach. Clients told us how they handled everything from designing to prepping, etc.

We were also pleased with their capabilities beyond interlocking pavers, including retaining walls, concrete services, and woodworks. Their pool and spa creations also stood out to us, as they offered the full package, from customization to lighting, vinyl installations, etc.

However, we wish they could come up with more affordable prices.

We discovered TurtleCreek Landscaping’s ad regarding wood builds while scrolling on social media. They impressed us enough to take a closer look, and we were surprised to learn that they also offer interlocking pavers and stonework.

One thing we immediately noticed was the attention to detail of their workers. For instance, a handful of our interviewees told us how the workers didn’t cut corners when working with the curves of their driveways and walkways, and made sure that everything fit seamlessly.

Previous clients also told us how pleased they were with the sleek designs of the tiles themselves, with the majority stating that their houses looked more expensive afterwards.

We were also impressed with the speed at which these workers operate, as previous clients told us that their driveways were finished in just under two or three days.

Monarch Landscaping was recommended to us by a friend who recently had their patio redecorated with interlocking pavers. The finished product was so clean, so we had to take a closer look!

Turns out, my friend’s patio was just one of the many impressive works of this landscaper, as they’ve catered to hundreds of commercial and residential properties already.

Their gallery was striking because every single project looked seamless, not to mention the before-and-after photos that looked too good to be true.

We also interviewed previous clients, and most of them told us that they can’t wait to work with Monarch again because of their quality of workmanship and smooth process.

Robbie and the Monarch team were professional, on time, left our driveway cleaner than we started with, and did an excellent job. The pricing was very fair, and the quote was sent promptly with a transparent breakdown of the pricing.

We had put in our garden beds, built our patios and added a pergola ourselves this summer, with the only things left to do being dealing with the remaining weeds (and the remaining yard was 100% weeds) and adding a path from the existing deck to the pergola.

As an example, Monarch left us a blank space in the yard after laying new sod and mulching the garden beds so that we could add a path on our own once we decided on the layout.

The first few photos posted here were taken about 3.5 weeks after Monarch finished up, and after we added our path and a few sod rolls ourselves to connect the path to the main yard, which was completed by Monarch. 

The sod is taking really well, and the yard is nice and even now. We’re planning on working with Monarch again in the spring to help us with some other projects.”
