Operating Hours:
- Monday: Closed
- Tuesday – Sunday: 11:30 am – 8:30 pm
Price Range: $6 – $7.25
Boba Club is a locally owned bubble tea store located in North Edmonton. Here, you can get your sugary classic milk teas or fruity teas topped with real fruits for that ultra authentic taste.
You can also get milk teas without toppings if you’re not a huge fan of tapioca balls. The Matcha Milk Tea without topping with 50% sugar is the perfect boost or stick to the famous Fresh Milk Creme Brulee with warm brown sugar boba and a torched cream on top.
The interior of the shop is very aesthetically pleasing as well, which kind of feels like you’re actually in a boba shop in Taiwan, where delicious bubble tea drinks originated. There’s even a table here with their logo that’s designed perfectly for an Instagram shot.
Pro Tip:
If you don’t like sugary flavours, we suggest starting with a 50% sugar level since the bubble teas here tend to lean on the sweet side. You can opt for a 0% sugar level if you’re getting a sweet flavour of boba already.

If you want to taste authentic bubble tea, try TeaCup2Go. The owners actually moved from Hong Kong to Canada and have now brought the delicious flavours of their hometown bubble teas, which are also made from fresh ingredients.
The bubble teas at this little shop are very unique and they’re perfect if you love toppings—they’re pretty much brimming to the top! There are pearls, tapioca, and many kinds of jelly, like strawberry, pineapple, green apple, and coffee.
They’re famous for their fruity drinks, which we recommend if you’re looking for a refreshing taste. The Taro Coconut Fruit Smoothie with tapioca (adding lychee pearl is the way to go) is a popular drink, which you can get with regular sugar or Splenda.
Pro Tip:
This bubble tea shop is small and is more for on-the-go drinks (they’re aptly named, actually). That’s why we suggest pre-ordering online for pick-up to save some time and avoid waiting in the shop during peak hours.

In Northside Edmonton, you’ll find the adorable and ultra tasty Tea Spot. The shop has a minimalist vibe and has plenty of tables for customers to come visit and chat while enjoying their favourite flavours.
You’ll find a good variety of flavours here, from simple drinks to unique ones—there are even cantaloupe, blueberry, and avocado bubble teas.
The Totoro Smoothie, which is basically taro and Oreo, is one of their bestsellers, as is the Signature House Milk Tea with pearls.
But what makes this shop unique is you can purchase cards and plastic models from ENV Collectible, such as Pokémon, Magic the Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, and Gundam. And since the place is spacious, you can enjoy your collections while drinking bubble tea.
Pro Tips:
Check their socials for some fun events. They host card tournaments, building days, anime-themed parties, and meet-ups, which are open to all so you can celebrate your love for collecting with other like-minded individuals.
If you’re not into really sweet drinks, order yours with a 0% sugar level because their bubble teas lean on the sweet side.

Sheng’s Tea, a family-owned bubble tea shop, only opened in 2022 but has become one of our favourite spots in Edmonton. It’s actually an adorable shop and is the perfect place to hang out on a sunny afternoon.
All drinks here are actually made with non-dairy milk, so a little shoutout to our lactose-intolerant friends. And there’s a huge selection of drinks that cater to basically every preference—choose from a whopping 47 milk tea flavours and 30 teas!
You can’t go wrong with the classic Brown Sugar Milk Tea, but their Okinawa Milk Tea with pudding tapioca is also a good option if you want something that’s not too sweet—we like this one after a heavy lunch.
They also have fruit teas, slushies, and cheesy milk foam! And don’t be shy to ask about dairy-free alternatives if you don’t drink whole milk.
Pro Tips:
If you’re looking for a quick hangout place with friends, this is the place to go because there are free board games. There’s also free parking, so that’s one thing you don’t have to worry about.
If you’re not into sweet bubble teas, you can choose their fruit tea or slushie. You’re still free to get your tapioca add-on, and we particularly like coconut jelly with the fruit slushies.

If you’re looking for the authentic taste of Taiwanese milk tea, then look no further than Xing Fu Tang. It’s famous for its handcrafted brown sugar boba, which you’ll see being cooked in a large pot, which also means you get fresh pearls with your drink.
It’s a no-brainer that their Signature Brown Sugar Pearl Fresh Milk is absolutely delicious. But if you’re more adventurous, there are teas, slushies, smoothies, and refreshers as well—the Matcha Boba Milk and the Coffee Slush are worth trying.
They also have seasonal drinks that are picture-perfect and will make your tummy happy, especially with the nice colour palette they usually do, which peeks out from the cup. We highly suggest checking out the yoghourt smoothies if you catch one available.
Pro Tip:
Check out their promotions for discounts and special deals. They mostly have promos on holidays and Chinese New Year, so keep an eye out because there are usually fun and new flavours available.

Price Range: $4.49 – $7.99
Edmonton’s Kung Fu Tea is made from high-quality Taiwanese tea leaves, which brings out the authentic flavours of the bubble tea.
The drinks are made from fresh ingredients and sweetened with real honey, so you won’t have to feel too guilty about your calorie count (but honestly, who does that with bubble tea?).
There’s actually an extensive selection here, which can be overwhelming for first-time customers. You can get original tea, milk tea, cheese milk foam, latte, fresh fruit tea, slush, and float (this one has ice cream on top).
So, we suggest sticking to the bestsellers if you’re unsure what to order, like the Signature Lite Fruit Tea or the Pearl Latte with Brown Sugar. On a hot summer day, the fruit teas are actually thirst quenchers because they’re not too sweet.
Pro Tip:
There’s a little corner where you can buy bubble tea plushies and accessories, which is cool for boba lovers like me. But you have to bring cash if you want to pay for these or make an e-transfer.
Tasty Choice

Website: https://tastychoiceonline.com/
Address: #107 2920 Calgary Trail NW
Contact Information: (780) 485-8815
Operating Hours:
- Sunday – Monday: Closed
- Tuesday – Thursday: 11:30 am – 8:00 pm
- Friday – Saturday: 11:30 am – 8:30 pm
Price Range: $5.75 – $8.99 (drinks only)
Tasty Choice along Calgary Trail is the kind of place you go to if you’re craving bubble tea but are also hungry. It’s impossible not to feel hungry here because there are delicious rice and noodle meals you can pair up with your drink.
But there are still lots of bubble tea options here, and honestly, they shine the most with their fruit drinks. You’ll also find unique flavours, like the Durian Real Fruit Juice Bubble Tea and the Jack Fruit Juice, which are honestly not so bad.
We suggest checking their crepes because they are delicious—would you believe there are shredded pork seaweed and mushroom chicken melt crepe flavours? But you can always go for the classic Nutella strawberry, which goes perfectly with bubble tea.
Pro Tips:
If you’re choosing to pick up your order at the store, we suggest not driving there right away unless you’re pretty far from the location. They will send an SMS confirmation once your order is ready.
If you want less sugar in your bubble tea, we suggest ordering in person instead of online. Their website needs a bit of upgrading and you can’t customize your drink—some drinks you also cannot add to cart.

Dream Tea House has six locations in Edmonton, which makes it one of our go-to for bubble tea cravings because it’s kind of everywhere.
This is also the spot for that delicious and unique mix of flavours, which is also why we always order new flavours because we’re all taste adventurers here.
Here, you get many choices, and you can choose single flavours or mixed flavours. The mixed-flavoured bubble teas are nicely combined, and some are actually a surprise that they go well together.
One of our favourites is the Dream Bubble Tea, which is a blend of taro and coconut with both tapioca and lychee jelly (yum!). The Mango Colada with crystals is a cool refresher during sunny afternoons, as it has fresh mango puree with coconut milk.
Pro Tips:
Their Harvest Pointe and West Edmonton Mall locations will have different prices from their other shops. So, bring extra loonies just in case you need to pay extra.
You can bring your family and friends here and play a round of your favourite board game, which you can borrow with a purchase of any food and drink. But these are only available at their Heritage, Old Strathcona, and Unity Square shops.

Pretty much everything about Presotea is superb, from the minimalist shop design to the delicious bubble teas. It’s actually because they grow their own teas, so you get a high-quality drink each time.
The drinks are also not too sweet, so you don’t have to go for a 50% sugar level if you want just the right amount of sweetness. Even the mixed flavours have the perfect combination of ingredients.
The simple but classic HK Milk Tea with pearls is a good introduction to bubble tea if you’re bringing a friend. The Dirty Series is also ideal for a first-time boba drinker—the Dirty Earl Grey with pearls is a staple for our team.
Pro Tip:
Don’t forget to choose your milk option if you’re lactose intolerant. They have almond, soy, oat, and coconut milk.

If you’re in the mood for out-of-this-world bubble tea, check out the new cool spot in Edmonton, Space Tea. Here, you’ll get spacecrafted drinks and smash burgers, which makes for an ultimate combo.
Choose any from the Galaxy Lemonade series, the slushies, and the milk and juice bubble teas. There are classic milk teas, but you can quench your thirst with their fruity selections, which work really well with the popping boba for the ultimate fun surprise.
There are also a couple of burgers on the menu, which isn’t overwhelming to choose from. But the grilled beef tacos really hit the spot.
Pro Tip:
If you’re hungry, we suggest getting a burger instead of the tacos. The taco portions are pretty small and may not be filling.
