The Okotoks Pro Rodeo Straps in for a Wild Ride This August 2025

Giddy up!

The Okotoks Pro Rodeo is inviting everyone to saddle up from August 22nd to 24th for another wild time!

This heartpounding show, kicking off at Millarville Racing & Agricultural Society, has been passed down from generation to generation, showcasing riding skills as a way to celebrate and connect with Western heritage.

It’s not just simple horse riding. This rough-and-tumble event includes bareback riding, steer wrestling, mutton bustin’, tie down roping, and bull riding. There’s something for all ages, as kids can watch the dummy roping competition.

Attendees will also get the chance to watch gritty girls compete for the crown, er… cowboy hat for the 2025 Miss Rodeo Okotoks.

And on the 23rd, make noise for the dance rodeo, where Alberta Country Music Award winner Drew Gregory will entertain the crowd and let the country beats flow through the night.

No rodeo event in Alberta is complete without bites and brews! Attendees can hop over to the food trucks and beer gardens for local grub.

Purchase your tickets at Eventbrite, starting at $25.29 (inclusive of fees) for the daily admission. Don’t forget to check out the website for updates and to see the full program!
