Giddy up! Montreal is getting the reins ready for a weekend of country cuisine!

From September 19 to 21, 2025, Festival Shérif is serving up good ol’ country cooking that will satisfy your cravings and fill your tummies!

This délicieux festival, happening at the Quai de l’Horloge in the Old Port of Montreal, will be cooking up a storm. Expect a bunch of protein-filled dishes that are so good, your tongue will slap your brains out!

There will be ribs that have been cooked for hours, juicy pork slapped in the middle of two buns, charred beef with tender meat, classic hot dogs, and the very Canadian poutine topped with house-smoked beef!

Of course, no country cuisine is complete without comforting sides, such as corn ribs, potatoes, and mac ‘n cheese.

Apart from the irresistible and lip-smacking food, the festival will also bring a hot lineup of musicians to the table, including Sunset Horizon, Vince Lemire, and The Bounty Hunters. The program even includes line dancing!

And yes, this irresistible Montreal event is open to all ages. Even your doggie companion is welcome, but on a leash so they don’t steal the meat!
