The CSWDSN Annual Conference Discusses Social Work in Toronto This May
If you’re a student taking your doctoral degree, check out the 4th Annual Conference of the Canadian Social Work Doctoral Student Network (CSWDSN), happening in Toronto from May 1 to 4, 2025.
Organised by the University of Toronto, York University, and McMaster University, this gathering will allow PhD students to connect with their peers while learning and sharing knowledge.
With the theme, Reimagining Social Work: Innovative and Decolonized Approaches for a Just Future, attendees are encouraged to engage in in-depth discussions about solutions and strategies in social work research.

The event commences with a pre-conference workshop on May 1st, followed by a keynote panel and networking dinner on the 2nd, and presentations on the 3rd and 4th days.
If you want to join on the 1st day, hurry and register because seats are limited! General admission for the full conference costs $50, while a plus one for the networking dinner costs $30.
