Are you an otaku? Calgary beckons you to Otafest 2025! The journey unfolds from May 16 to 18, 2025, at the Calgary Telus Convention Centre and Marriott Hotel, where cool activities are forged for everyone to enjoy!

This annual convention celebrates anime, manga, and Japanese pop culture, where all ages are welcome to swing by dressed as their favourite characters! Cosplayers and non-cosplayers are welcome!

Purchase cool gear and official products at the Exhibitor Hall, snag autographs at the Artist Alley, and turn into a drawing at Sketch Drive. It will also feature the Idol Festival, where groups will cover songs of your favourite J-Pop idols!

The Maid & Butler Cafe will serve you delicious meals and an interactive adventure. Singers will perform and compete on the stage. And the place is full of backdrops for photo-ops—perfect if you’re in cosplay!
