Pros

  • Offers a variety of treatments
  • Uses cutting-edge technology
  • Has two doctors; head and neck surgeons
  • Provides financing options
  • Offers free accommodation for out-of-town patients

Cons

  • Has higher prices
  • Doesn’t offer free consultations
  • Closed on weekends

The Toronto Hair Transplant Clinic earned a spot on our list because of the wide range of treatments they offer. It was quite impressive, actually, especially compared to other clinics in the area.

Besides the well-known FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) hair transplant, they offer PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) therapy, LLLT (Low-Level Light Therapy), and scalp micro-pigmentation.

For us, having these options is excellent because the extent of hair loss will depend on the person. It allows patients to choose their preferred treatments if their case permits it.

It feels like a bonus that they also offer hair transplants for beards and eyebrows! It’s not just the scalp where people experience hair loss, so this gives them an edge.

On top of that, we like their use of cutting-edge technology! That’s possibly how they can offer many procedures—along with their skills, of course!

We like that the Toronto Hair Transplant Clinic has two doctors on their team: Dr. Cory Torgerson and Dr. Michael Brandt. They’re both head and neck surgeons and have impressive credentials!

Additionally, we appreciate their highly qualified medical team. They impressively have registered nurses and FUE technicians who can help patients feel confident about the procedure.

However, a drawback is their high pricing, starting at $5,000 for 1,000 to 1,200 grafts. They also don’t offer free consultations, unlike other hair transplant clinics in Toronto.

That’s why we highly suggest checking their financing options. They offer customized and flexible payment plans – a useful feature that your wallet will thank you for!

Also, since they service out-of-town patients, they offer a maximum of two nights of free penthouse accommodation. It has a value of $1,000, so that’s a posh service!

Lastly, the clinic is closed on weekends. We think that’s unfortunate for busy clients since weekends are usually off days!

Pros

  • Open daily
  • Has a highly qualified hair transplant doctor
  • Offers flexible payment plans
  • Provides no-obligation consultation

Cons

  • Limited number of specialists

What we like about Sure Hair International is they’ve been offering hair transplants in Toronto for over 30 years. That’s a tonne of experience to master creating new hairlines!

We appreciate them having both FUE and FUT (Follicular Unit Transplant) hair transplants. These procedures offer natural-looking hairlines, which is what we want!

Plus, we were happy to learn they offer eyebrow transplants. However, they don’t particularly focus on beard transplants, so that’s a minor downside.

On a good note, we commend their doctor, Dr. A. K. Gupta, for performing hair transplants for around 25 years! He’s had about 6,000 procedures, which is impressive as it shows his skills.

Another impressive aspect is Dr. Gupta’s knowledge of hair restoration techniques. In fact, he’s contributed to several hair loss publications over the years!

But the downside is the limited number of doctors. Considering the clinic’s busy schedule, this means they can only accept a limited number of clients.

We all know that hair transplants can cost a fortune. That’s why we appreciate the financing options they offer for flexible payments.

It certainly helps that Sure Hair International offers a no-obligation consultation, available via phone, virtually, or in person! There’s no pressure on patients, no?

Furthermore, you can consult with them during weekends! Yup, they’re open every day, which is good news for busy Torontonians!

Pros

  • Recipient of ISHRS Golden Follicle Award
  • An Out-of-Hospital Premises Inspector
  • Has a hands-on approach
  • Offers transgender hair transplants
  • Provides complimentary consultations

Cons

  • Closed on weekends
  • Accepts a limited number of patients

We think Dr. Paul Cotterill is one of the best hair transplant surgeons in Toronto because of his credentials. He’s highly qualified, making him one of our top choices!

In 2018, he was a recipient of the ISHRS Golden Follicle Award due to his significant contributions to hair restoration surgery. In our opinion, that shows his dedication and commitment to the field!

Additionally, we found it impressive that he was appointed the Out-of-Hospital Premises Inspector for The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. It’s a massive achievement because he evaluates Ontario’s hair restoration clinics—a major role!

We think it’s worth mentioning that he also has a clinic in Manhattan, New York, where he accepts consultations if they want to get a hair transplant surgery in Toronto. Talk about an internationally renowned surgeon!

However, Dr. Cotterill only sees one patient at a time, which may be a downside, especially since he’s the only doctor at his clinic. The reason for that is he’s very hands-on with his patients, ensuring they get the best service—that makes up for it, no?

Aside from that, we think it’s worth highlighting that he’s the only one who performs the hair transplant procedures. We love the confidence he instills in each patient because he doesn’t leave the surgery to others.

Among his many hair transplant services, we were particularly fond of transgender hair transplants. The inclusivity and skills are definitely worth noting!

We shouldn’t be surprised that Dr. Cotterill’s clinic is only open five days a week, and considering he accepts a limited number of patients, this was something we expected. He has complimentary consultations, though!

Pros

  • Recommended by the AHLA
  • Known for Rahal Hairline
  • Has free consultations
  • Offers financing options
  • Provides a Growth Guarantee

Cons

  • Closed on weekends

Rahal Hair Transplant is one of our top choices because of their over 25 years of experience. They’ve even helped over 13,000 men get their luscious hair back!

They’re also highly recommended by the American Hair Loss Association (AHLA), a non-profit organization committed to hair loss prevention and treatment. For us, that’s an impressive feat!

The clinic’s hair transplant specialist, Dr. H. Rahal, specializes in follicle unit hair transplants. But that’s not what caught our eyes.

We found it quite impressive that Dr. Rahal is known for Rahal Hairline. What’s good about this is the natural-looking results that also provide full hair that you can finally style anytime you want!

Furthermore, we appreciate that Dr. Rahal tailors his approach to every patient. Therefore, the procedure results in a more youthful and natural look.

Another good news about Rahal Hair Transplant is they provide a Growth Guarantee. If there are non-growing hair transplant grafts, Dr. Rahal will replace them at no cost—doesn’t that show their commitment to their patients?

Plus, we really like Dr. Rahal’s free consultations. There are no obligations, which we’re happy about!

But the Rahal Hair Transplant Clinic is closed on weekends, unfortunately. So, you’ll need to take time off for the consultation.

Finally, we appreciate the financing options they offer. Once approved, you can pay on an installment basis—friendly for your bank account!

Pros

  • Open on weekends
  • Uses Dr. Seager’s techniques
  • Specializes in corrective work
  • Has several doctors available
  • Provides free consultations

Cons

  • Doesn’t specialize in beard transplant

An admirable fact about Seager Hair Transplant Centre is that it’s part of the legacy left by Dr. David Seager, a principal specialist in hair restoration surgery, who passed away in 2006. He’s known for “One Pass” hair transplant, which increases hair density.

The techniques made by Dr. Seager are highly coveted in the hair restoration industry. Other hair specialists and the Seager Hair Transplant Centre team still carry his techniques to this day, providing top-notch results—impressive, eh?

They specialize in FUE and FUT hair transplants, like most clinics. But what’s even better is their focus on corrective work.

Furthermore, we were pleasantly surprised that they’re well-versed in camouflaging bad hair transplants without any additional scarring. We like that their design provides a “no-line hairline,” which creates a varying hair density for a natural look!

A minor downside is they don’t really focus on beard transplants. So, if that’s what you need, you may have to look at someone else who specializes in that.

Another advantage they have is their free consultations, available in person or online. We think offering this free-of-charge benefits many patients, especially since hair transplants can get pricey.

What’s even better is they have several doctors available for the hair transplant procedure. We appreciate the freedom to choose your preferred specialist.

Lastly, Seager Hair Transplant Centre is open six days a week, including weekends. It benefits busy Torontonians! No need to leave work early!
