With the many preferences, you can find one even with a smaller budget since countertops tend to get pricey. They even make custom ones to make sure you get the right colours and finishes that’ll look perfect for your home.

As far as their selection goes, you can choose from granite, quartz, and butcher block, among others. You can also pick decorative edges to give your countertop a different design.

Not only that, but you can have the PF team do the removal and installation if you don’t have a contractor to do the job.

Sadly though, we heard a few complaints regarding customer service. There were also instances of incorrect measurements, but the team handled the issues immediately.

Also, they offer a 100% guarantee on all of their work, giving you peace of mind if there are issues.

As for their products, there’s a wide selection of different stone materials, giving you more choices. In addition, there are multiple edge designs as an added characteristic in your kitchen. 

Additionally, expect a time frame of at least seven days for the countertop delivery. The team was also efficient regarding the installation process.

Many clients appreciated the competitive rates too. With fair prices, we believe they can reach clients with different budget ranges.

Unfortunately, there were a few miscommunication issues. On the other hand, the staff handled the miscommunication issues.

Likewise, a few clients complained about a lack of response regarding inquiries or estimates.

Urban Granite is a family-owned business that opened in 2001. It focuses on functionality and aesthetics, bringing the client’s vision to reality.

There’s a wide range of services available, from the kitchen to outdoor areas. Because of this, we think clients will appreciate the convenience of not jumping from one business to another for additional work.

Additionally, there are a bunch of countertop materials for more options to choose from. We like the availability of different colours, so you can find one that matches your home’s aesthetic.

It’s a good thing that there’s a showroom available, but it’s strictly on an appointment-only basis. It’s due to the safety protocols to protect employees and clients.

A slight drawback is, compared to similar businesses, their showroom closes a tad earlier on Saturdays.

So, if you’re unavailable, you can opt to check their vast portfolio. Also, we noticed their consistent and beautiful style. 

Moreover, they’re great at working with other contractors to bring the client’s concept to life. Their social media pages are constantly updated, allowing you to check for recent projects.

Unfortunately, we heard a few complaints about the service. On a brighter note, it seems that the team has improved their customer service since then.

Another positive is the high-quality materials and precise measurements. The team was also great at coordinating with the contractors for a smoother installation.

Lastly, Urban Granite provides reasonable prices. Some clients even said they got one of the lowest quotes compared to similar companies.

K & J’s Custom Granite is an Edmonton-based countertop service offering a large selection while educating its clients to ensure they choose the right products for their homes.

It won the Consumer Choice Award in Northern Alberta in 2020 and 2021. We believe many will be impressed due to the recognition because it shows the quality of work from the team.

As for the selection, there are granite, marble, and quartz countertops. However, it’s pretty limited if you compare it to other businesses.

On the bright side, there are various designs and colours to find the right one for your home. You can even choose different edge profiles if you want to add a distinct touch.

Although there’s a project gallery on the website, we think they can update it and include different styles. By doing this, potential clients can check their projects when deciding whether to hire them or not.

It’s good that they offer fair prices since countertop services in Edmonton can get expensive, especially if you’re renovating. Additionally, they have a financing option for flexible monthly payments.

On a negative note, some clients complained about customer service. As a result, the staff couldn’t resolve some issues right away.

Another thing we heard was it took weeks for previous clients to get the repair service when they saw a few barely visible cracks.

Quantum Kitchen provides granite and quartz countertops to Edmonton and its surrounding areas. It has been in the industry for more than 16 years and recently won a Northern Alberta Consumer Choice Award in 2022.

It offers various quartz countertop brands, including Cambria, Caesarstone, Maxima Stone, and VICOSTONE. In our opinion, having trusted brands can help with good quality materials for your kitchen.

Also, they offer many colours, as long as you can see them on the manufacturer’s website.

As for granite, there are over 300 colours that you can choose from. They also have a bunch of suppliers in Edmonton.

However, they don’t offer other countertop materials. We think some people may get taken aback by the limited selection, especially those with personal preferences.

On a positive note, they offer eased edge to avoid bumping into sharp corners. In addition, they also carry sinks, which is convenient for more precise fabrication since they have the measurements already.

But do expect around one to two weeks for delivery. Delays will also depend on the availability of sinks and faucets.

On a negative note, there were installation issues like unevenness and some minor damages

We would like it if they could add more carefulness when installing the countertops because there were reports of carelessness and scratches on the property.
