We appreciate the structured workflow, beginning with a discovery call, followed by consultation, design proposals, showroom visits, working drawings, and construction support. 

Speaking of the showroom, instead of selecting finishes through catalogues or online images, we like that you can visit the showroom to look through tiles, cabinets, plumbing fixtures, and other materials in person.

Their building permit support is handy as well, especially since it can be confusing for some homeowners—they help prevent delays and administrative stress. Just note that they’re closed on weekends, so schedule a meeting accordingly. 

Lastly, we have to give them props for handling the sourcing and ordering of materials. You can avoid time-consuming tasks since the company coordinates with contractors and organizes product lists with vendors.

With over 20 years of experience, LUX decor has completed many residential projects and built a strong portfolio of modern and functional interiors. 

They offer both interior decorating and large-scale renovation designs, including kitchen, bathrooms, and full home transformations. We’re happy to see them work closely with contractors and trades to make sure the project is cohesive from design to construction. 

It’s also worth noting that they offer a wide selection of furniture, lighting, rugs, and home decor items through their shop and curated product collections. Having direct access to furnishings streamlines the project without sourcing products from multiple suppliers. 

It’s just a bummer that weekends are a no-go, so you’ll probably have to plot a suitable time for your consultation.

As for the process itself, you won’t feel overwhelmed since one team manages the entire design journey, from concept and planning all the way to installing and styling. 

It’s possible thanks to their team of designers, design associates, an architectural technologist, and procurement specialists. This also means they don’t need to outsource subcontractors or specialists to hop on the project. 

But we did notice that they mostly focus on projects such as houses, condos, and home renovations rather than large corporate or commercial spaces.
